Techniques of Digital Architecture

Book summary: The book represents a link between design techniques and
digital fabrication methods to solve the recurrent problems in
contemporary architectural design to build double and complex curved
structures. Primarily, this book explores ways to integrate manufacturing
processes information into design phases, focuses on the digital
representation of surface geometry and its ability for describing the
construct-ability of the building enclosure systems. This was achieved by
using innovative fabrication methods and available construction materials,
through the analysis of related fields, Finally, combining both the relations
between the design methods and the production processes, the book
explore the connection between form, geometry and construct-ability in
digital architecture
