IE(I) STUDENTS CHAPTER

ANNUAL REPORT – 2022-2023

I am M. Vairavan, convenor of IE(I) students’ chapter-Department of civil engineering is obliged here


to read the annual report of IE(I) students’ chapter during the year 2022-2023.

In this academic year, 300 students of our department are being the members of IE(I) students’
chapter.

Weekly two events were organized and executed successfully in two different days throughout the
year.

By that way about 55 events were conducted by our IE(I) Students chapter.

Gyan Mitra, a National level technical symposium was conducted by various forums of our college.

This year, our IE(I) along with IACES, the co-curricular forum of Civil Engineering department had
organized eight technical competitions in tremendous manner which includes Cad Carving, Model
Minting, Ship wreck, Graphyte ideas, Civilic Brains, Vision Quest, Code breakers, Shiphrers. Other
than that, two workshops, E-tabs and Interior designing were organized.

Around 900 students of various colleges attended this grand event in which above 100 participants
have taken part in our domain “Contraflexure”

Both internal and external winners of various events were honoured

Exclusively, “Innovathon”, a department level paper presentation was initiated by IE(I) Students
chapter-Civil Engineering on the eve of engineers day where prizes were allotted for first three best
performances.

In particular, winners of IE(I) activities are tributed with trophies under various categories. We are
highly privileged to announce that in this phenomenal year we have 58 winners, 56 runners, 6 active
participants from all 6 classes. And for the very first time we are renouncing a person with an overall
best performer based on his contribution in various concerns. In addition, students who have
volunteered themselves for organizing events for IE(I) students’ chapter are also rewarded.

We also assure that in the upcoming years the forum will do various other programs for the
upliftment of the student community. We have a humble request to all the students to actively
participate in the further events.

Hereby I am grateful to thank each and everyone who have rendered their valuable hands for this
inevitable success.
