The report contains detailed analysis of statistics pertaining to various aspects of crime in the country, which have been presented in a very comprehensive manner for the stakeholders for policy formulation, crime analysis and designing mitigating strategies. 2. I take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all the States and Union Territories for their efforts in prompt submission of the data to NCRB, resulting in timely publication of a report that is of both national and international importance.
