must choose Agricultural Crop
Production(ACP)?
Agricultural Crop Production is within the scope of TVL Agri-
fishery strand which is designed for hands-on learning and
application of skills that are related to agriculture such as
crop production, organic farming, and landscaping. Under
this strand, students will learn and understand traditional
and modern farming by teaching them the process and
techniques of how to produce crops, use the right fertilizer,
pesticide, and insecticide, and using agricultural tools and
machinery for faster and convenient farming.
Incoming high school students may
be encouraged to choose
Agricultural Crop Production (ACP)
for several reasons:
Economic Significance
Agriculture is a vital sector of many economies worldwide. Crop
production plays a crucial role in ensuring food security, generating
income, and contributing to the overall economic development of a

Practical Experience

ACP provides students with hands-on experience in crop

selection, planting, irrigation, pest control, and harvesting.
