022108 – IHG VIETNAM DESTINATION WEDDING VIDEO

CONCEPT: The film is the journey of a lady going through different wedding venues for her
wedding. Through her eyes, we will see different hotels and resorts, different setups for wedding.
After going through different locations, seeing different things, she is now at her wedding. We
will follow her on her wedding day, seeing her getting ready to the moment before she meets
with her groom. With this way of shooting with a muse, we can showcase the wedding services,
the locations, the venues in a more interesting way than just showing the products. With human
touch such as staff paying attention to details of the setups, florists arranging flowers, etc. added
in throughout the film, we hope to create a connection with possible future couples, and bring
them to Vietnam.
We have 4 hotels and 4 resorts joining hand to make this film. With 2 minutes, we cannot
showcase all 03 locations from each hotel/resort in the film. We will choose the best from each
hotel/resort to feature in the main hero video such as ICLM72 with their Garden Ceremony,
ICSG with their high ceiling ballroom for banquet, ICWL with their Sunset Bar
Ceremony, ICD with their La Maison Terrace, CPPQ with the Beach Ceremony, and
ICPQ with the Bridal Suite. By doing this, we can portrait the whole package for IHG
Destination Wedding in Vietnam from ballroom, to garden, beach, terrace, architecture, and
suite.

SUGGESTED SCRIPT
A - INTRODUCTION
We open the film with various drone shots of 04 destinations: HCMC, HN, Phu Quoc, Da Nang.
We see nice beaches, blue oceans, lush-green islands, and modern cities. Text will appear
overlaying on each drone shot indicating the name of each destination: HCMC, HN, Phu Quoc,
Da Nang.
Then we cut to a series of hero aerial shots of each property with text indicating the property’s
name (There are 8 properties in this project).

B - INTRODUCE THE MUSE

Cut to a series of shots showing hints of the muse in a moving car. We will see her eyes, lips,
hands touching her hair, etc. We will focus on her hand with the engagement ring introduce the
overall mood of the video is wedding-related. Our muse is engaged but not married. This is to
suggest the idea of her is now in a journey to prepare for her most important life-event, the
wedding.
Cut to a car arrive at CPPQ’s Port Cochere. We see her stepping out of the car (A staff opening
the door for her). We see her walking by a few nice achitectural details at CPPQ, in nice light.

We will see the close-up of her hand with the engagment ring again. The details of her
engagement ring will repeat a few times throughout the video to emphasize the idea of a wedding
story.

C - MAIN CONTENT
Cut to a series of shots showing hints of wedding setups in nice light such as flowers, white
fabrics, tiffany chairs, etc. (These details will be filmed from different properties and it will
be a mix from different hotels and resorts in the editing).

c.1 - BALLROOMS AND HALL

Cut to a wide shot of ICSG’s ballroom. Then we see her walking through the door entering the
ballroom. She walks by seeing the staff setting up at the ballroom.
Cut to a series of top-down shots seeing her walking through other ballrooms at ICLM72
Ballroom, ICWL Ballroom, HI Saigon Ballroom, and ICD Reception Hall.

c.2 - OUTDOOR SETUPS

Follow the muse from behind seeing her pushing a door, lighting coming into lens, and we will
see her in the next location (Muse in different wardrobe). We will keep following the muse
and seeing her walking through ICD La Maison Terrace, then CPPQ’s Horizon, Regent Phu
Quoc’s outdoor set up, ICWL’s sunset bar, and ICSG’s Terrace on 2nd floor. In the background,
we see staff setting up.
Cut to her at INK bar at ICPQ. Shooting over her shoulder (only her, no groom), we see the
magnificient view of the ocean. Cut to a series of wedding setups on the beach, florists arranging
flowers.

c.3 - BEACH & GARDEN SETUPS

Then we see her walking on the beach (Muse will change outfit here), passing through different
setups on the beach. The background of the setup will be ICD Beach, CPPQ Beach. Then from
behind, we see her looking towards the Garden Ceremory setup at ICLM72. Close-up of her feet
and her hand touching the engagement ring, we see her walking by. ICPQ’s 4-bedroom beach
villa.

c.4 - BRIDAL SUITE AND PRESIDENTIAL SUITES

From one detail in ICPQ’s 4-bedroom beach villa, pull out to a medium shot seeing her sitting
the bathroom of Bridge Suite at ICPQ. She is about to get ready.
Cut to a series of the muse getting ready. Muse will be in bathrobe. We see her have her hair and
make-up done, fixing her earings by the window, putting her shoes on, putting her dress and veil
on. Mixing in with the series of getting ready shots, we will see close-up shots of the dress, the
veil, the ring, the shoes, the vow, all in nice light. We only see hints of her in her bridal outfit but
not the full look. We want to keep people excited about seeing her in her final look.
WARDROBE: Outfit 4 - Bathrobe
Cut to a series of her walking in her wedding dress, long veil. We are not seeing her full body,
just heels on the floor, the veil sliding on the floor. This is where we see the changes of different
suites. In between of close-up shots of the heels, the veil, we pull out to see the product shots of
ICSG’s Presidential Suite, ICLM72’s Presential Suite, ICWL’s Presidential Suite.
Then she walks straight into the camera. When we pull out, the door at ICD opens, and we see
her there in front of the red chair.
WARDROBE: Outfit 5 - Wedding dress

D - CLOSING
At ICD, the RED DOOR/CHAIR (featured on Conda Nast, listed in storyboard) opens, we
see her for the first time in her full bridal look. This is the epic moment of the whole video. The
groom steps in. The couple in a picturisque frame with the ocean in the background. (This is the
only scene we see a couple).

Pull out to drone shot of the whole ICD on the hill.

Fade to tagline (can add voice reading this line): “The venue you choose will be the eternal
backdrop for your most treasured memories.”
