I started my internship at Ex-works Cargo Services on September 12, 2022. On my

first day, Mr. Rodrigo Villanueva, the managing director of Ex-works, tells us the possible
works and tasks we will do while we’re having an internship in their company. He introduced
us to Ms. Ethel Garcia, the one who will supervise and guide us in the office. Furthermore,
Mr. Villanueva discussed to us how he started his company and the background of it. He
also gave some advice and knowledge about the track we’re going to; he made us feel
comfortable and goal-driven while working in his company. They gave an orientation
regarding the operations in this industry, they also introduced to us their websites wherein
they can easily work and accommodate some clients. This week, they gave us a task to
have 500 people like the FB page and IG of Ex-works Cargo Services Inc. within 2 weeks,
so that we can learn how to do sales and marketing in a freight-forwarding company.
Moreover, they teach us how to accommodate and talk to a client professionally. For this
whole week we are advertising their companies by sharing some posts of their company on
social media platforms. We are also promoting their services in some Fb groups so we can
get more clients and promote our company.
