My name is Jesus B. Balondo Jr. Yes, it's spelled like "Jesus Christ.

" However, we
pronounce it as " Hesus." I was named after my father, which is why I have the "Jr." in
my last name. However, I prefer to go by "Jess." I've been called that since grade 6
because I feel shy about my name. To be honest, I'm not very fond of my name due to
people making fun of it or getting confused by its uniqueness. This is especially true
among my peers, and explaining it to new people is exhausting. I was born on May 28,
2005, and I recently turned 18 this year. I'm the youngest among six children. I am 5'7"
tall and have loved playing volleyball since childhood. I also enjoy playing basketball;
however, volleyball has always been my true passion. In terms of my personality, I
thoroughly enjoy spending time with both my friends and people in general. However, I
mostly enjoy being alone and spending time with myself. I value moments to myself
where I can relish my own company. The reason for this preference is somewhat elusive
to me. My favorite color is green, specifically olive green or army green. I perceive this
shade as representing peace and relaxation. I have a tendency to romanticize my life,
even though this is not the life that I really want. Nevertheless, I am grateful for what I
currently have and genuinely appreciate the present circumstances. I currently reside at
Zone 3 Camias St. Mariano Village, Balatas, Naga City.

My mother's name is Cletilla B. Balondo, and my father's name is Jesus E. Balondo. I

have five siblings, and my father is the only one who works for our everyday living.
However, sometimes my mom also helps us by selling food to eat. She prepares breakfast
and lunch, and that's our source of income. Even though we sometimes lack money and
face challenges in meeting our daily needs, my parents never give up. This unwavering
determination has taught me to appreciate even the smallest things in life. Our situation
has shaped me into the person I am today. I have developed ambition because I want to
support my parents and repay them for all they've done for us. This experience has
influenced my entire personality, altering how I think and perceive the world around me.
I've noticed a big change in how I think and act. I've realized that education is really
important if you want to achieve your dreams.

Right now, I'm in college studying Entrepreneurship, which means learning about starting
and running businesses. When I was younger, I didn't think about owning a business
because I didn't know much about it. But as I've gotten older, I've seen people online who
have their own businesses and make a lot of money. That made me want to have my own
business too. My mom used to tell me that having a business is good because you can
make a lot of money, and it all matters to me now. I know that starting a business
involves coming up with new ideas, and that's why I'm studying Entrepreneurship in
college. I want to create something new and different. Even though I don't have a specific
idea yet, I'm excited to learn a lot in this Entrepreneurship course. Besides liking
business, I also know that Entrepreneurship is a key-driver to economic growth and social
change. If I get the chance to start my own business, I hope to contribute to the
development of vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem in which individuals can thrive and
business can flourish. In order for me to achieve my dreams, I never doubt or hesitate
when it comes to venturing into the world of entrepreneurship. What's more, I have taken
steps to ensure I enter the right educational institution, one that I am confident will aid
me in expanding my knowledge of business and innovation. Specifically, I have chosen
to enroll in the Bicol State College of Applied Sciences and Technology, commonly
referred to as BISCAST. This decision is rooted in my awareness that BISCAST has a
track record of producing exceptional professionals and maintaining high teaching
standards. BISCAST offers a diverse range of high-quality academic programs,
knowledgeable and experienced faculty, a supportive learning environment, and a vibrant
student community. It focuses on holistic development, critical thinking, and practical
skills, preparing students for successful careers and personal growth.
