However, some disagree saying it is still an in-progress method and can be vulnerable.

There is no room for doubt that telemedicine can improve the access to care thanks to its’ flexibily.
Patients in rural areas no need to travel for a long distance to have a medical check-up, additionally, city
dwellers could also book an appointment within a click, therefore, enchance the satisfaction of the
patients as well as time-efficient. Furthurmore, healthcare professionals are available 24/7. This may
help individuals living in poor area services to contact to specialists to create a care plan without going
outside, thereby leading to a more cost-saving approach.

Although it has raised some eyebrows, there are still some drawbacks in the process. Security and
privacy play a crucial role in telemedicine, therefore, cyber criminals could utilize this as an advantage to
scam users for personal information causing a major thread to the user. Languague barriers between the
patients and care provider is still a unsolved problem, which can make it difficult to communicate. Since
it provides care remotely, doctors cannot use a stethoscope to listen to the heart or breathing, take
blood samples, etc. Additionally, children having a speech therapy can be difficult due to connection
troubles.

In conclusion, telemdicine is a great development in the medical field, improving the quality of life of
many people, nevertheless, the cons are indeed to be concerned about.
