The Club
Beth, Ned, and Meg had a club.
They liked to meet as a club each week.
The club was for kids who liked things
with the short e sound.
Beth, Ned, and Meg all have names

“I like bread and eggs,” said Meg.


“I think eggs are the best,” said Ned.
“I like to eat bread,” said Beth.
They each had a club meal.

“You can put a feather on your head,”
they said to Meg.
