Word-Formation Exercises
Overview
1. Read the Whole text You need to read the whole text to get
the writer’s opinion on the topic. That’s
because sometimes a negative prefix
will be required. There is usually at least
one word requiring a negative prefix, so
look out for these.

2. Always Write Something In the exam, always write something.

You never know, you might be lucky
even if you are not sure of the answer!

Tip- The words on the right are already in the correct space, and next to the gap they belong.
In other words, word one goes with gap one, word two goes with gap two, etc… You have to
transform the word to fit properly.
