Robotics Drive Base Limitations

You and your group have finished building the first build,
the Drive Base

At your benches, drive the robot and answer the following questions. What kind of simple machine is
the robot? How do you know this? With the pieces in your box and with objects around your bench,
create some obstacles for your robot to see if it can get through the obstacle. What are some of the
limitations of the robot when trying to complete the tasks?

We put sticks on the ground spaced out so that the robot has to move in a zigzag motion without
touching them.

Are their any ways that you think you could improve the build to make the robot more efficient to
complete tasks? How could you modify the robots?

We added something at the front for it to pick up things. Like a forklift type of thing.
