19. Derive an expression for the electric field due to uniformly charged thin spherical
shell, when the point is outside the conductor.
20. Derive an expression for the capacitance of a parallel plate capacitor.

21. Derive the expression for the coductivity of the material of the conductor.

22. Obtain expression for balanced condition of the Wheatstone’s network.

VI. Answer any ONE of the following questions. 1x5=5

23. Charges 2µC, 4µC and 6µC are placed at three corners A,B and C of a square ABCD
of side x metre. Find what charge must be placed at the fourth corner, such that the
total potential at the centre of the square is zero.
24. 100mg mass of nichrome alloy is drawn into a thin wire of area cross section
0.05mm2. Caculate the resistance of the wire [ Given: density of
nichrome:8.4X103kgm-3 and resistivity=1.2X10-6Ωm]
