I am pleased to write to you to apply for the 2021/22
Erasmus+ programme. I am currently studying Electronic Music at the Conservatorio di San Pietro a Majella in Naples, South Italy. I have almost finished my second year and I would very much appreciate having the possibility to spend part of the next semester at your school.
I got really curious when I read about the Spanish
electronic and experimental music scene during my History of Electroacoustic music’s course and I was so inspired that I wanted to get to know better the Spanish musical artistry. I think that the best way to immerge my creative mind into this new & unknown culture is to actually spend some time in Barcelona: an experience I have never done before.
I would like to spend this months by mastering the skills
I'm currently really enjoying, like electro-acoustic composition & sound design (mainly related to musique concrète and field-recording samples' manipulation). But most importantly, I want to improve my abilities around mixing/mastering, music synthesis, performance+interpretation of electronic music (live electronics) and visual art; being that the reason I'm willing to study abroad. That is why I become very interested when I saw your courses together with all the things you offer. It would be amazing if I could get the chance to performe with Spanish artists and with musicians from all around the world, so that I can learn the Spanish language but also improve my musical language and my interplay.
