 1. YOUR FAVOURITE CELEBRATION
1. This is my family at Thanksgiving Day.
2. What are you doing?
3. We’re having supper.
4. I’m with my cousins, uncles and aunts.
5. We’re really having fun.
6. There’s lots to eat and share.
7. We enjoy it a lot!
8. It’s great when we are together.
 THE DINNER PARTY
1. One afternoon, Nasreddin is working on his farm.
2. A man comes to him with a letter.
3. It is from a rich man in the village.
4. The rich man is having a dinner party.
5. He wants Nasreddin to come.
6. Nasreddin is very happy.
He wants to go.
7. That evening, he goes to the party.
8. He is wearing his work clothes.
They are old and dirty.
9. The people at the party don’t talk to him. He feels angry.
10. They don’t give him any food. So, he goes home.
 11. At home, Nasreddin has a bath..
12. He gets dressed in nice clothes.
13. He goes back to the party.
14. Now the people are happy to see him.
15. They talk to him and give him food:
chicken, fish and rice.
16. Nasreddin puts rice on his shoes. Then he puts the fish on his shirt.
17. He puts the chicken in the pocket of his trousers.
18. “What are you doing?” The rich man asks. “Are you crazy?”
19. “I am giving the food to my clothes” says Nasreddin.
20. “You want to have my clothes at the party, but not me.”
