WORSHIP TEAM GUIDE WHAT ARE WE AIMING FOR? We are committed to protecting the biblical convictions of worship, while being sensitive to the culture where we live. Our commitment is to create a worship culture where every person encounters the Holy Spirit and the presence of God. WHAT DO WE VALUE? + We value leading people into the presence of God as our primary focus + We value building a Gospel-centred, presence driven worship culture + We value allowing room for the Holy Spirit to move + We value facilitating congregational participation worship REHEARSALS + Arrive for rehearsals and Sunday services on time and have set up done before sound check Must be able to proficiently play/sing assigned parts and be comfortable with click tracks Set up and tear down your areas including equipment from storage if used Come physically and spiritually ready to lead the church in worship ‘Support the Worship Leader in leading the congregation Be on time and present for pre-service prayer meetings Be flexible to make any changes needed and be open to feedback Regularly check roster on Planning Center and respond to support your Worship leader and team HOW DOES SOMEONE BECOME INVOLVED WITH THE TEAM? Must have attended for at least 6 months Must have attended the Church membership class Must fll out application form from church website Must go through church screening process Must connect with Worship Pastor regarding ministry placement WHAT IS EXPECTED OF A TEAM MEMBER? + Members must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that is consistent and growing through prayer, Bible reading and church fellowship + Commit to the community of the worship team. Recognizing we are family and that we will grow relationally with the team * Commit to having the mind of Christ, and approach life with an attitude of humility and an atmosphere of fun + Must be committed attendees and givers at our church, including regular attendance at Sunday Services.
