Section 2 (e) de nes " nancial assistance" as any form of
monetary support provided for various purposes, including but not limited to: (i) establishing, expanding, modernising, renovating, or operating industrial enterprises; (ii) vocational training; (iii) agricultural or agro-industrial development; (iv) planned development initiatives approved by the State Government; (v) relief from the adverse effects of re, severe drought, ood, or other natural disasters; (vi) implementation of state-sponsored programmes; or (vii) any other purpose as prescribed. According to Section 36, the Act does not prevent the collection of outstanding debts related to nancial aid provided to an agriculturist, or the enforcement of a charge or mortgage created by the agriculturist on any land or interest in favour of a Corporation, bank, or other institution. This is applicable when such debts can be recovered under the provisions of any other currently applicable law. The provisions of this Act do not diminish the authority of the TLR and LR Act, 1960, which pertains to the retrieval of land revenue and other speci ed funds. However, these provisions may be pursued as an alternate course of action. fi fl fi fi fi fi
