A garden allows us to regain this positive experience. Alive with edible plants, fruit trees, animals and a continuous, cyclical series of gardening activities, it isthe perfect space to rekindle the connection that got lost and express the purest form of compassion. In our open-air garden setting, children experience enrichment by interacting with the world around them. Children have always been the backbone of Kebun Kumara, where even the origin of our name “Kumara” is taken from the Sanskrit word meaning child or youth. Through Nature Playschool, we provide children the opportunity to truly interact with nature as an integral part oftheir holistic growth, We are always delighted to collaborate with cafes and communal spaces as pop-up locations for our classes, enlivening these areas with positive nature activities for urban families, eos Cerny 0 Bec The Essential Kits Kebun Kumara offers various products that serve as practical solutions to support the sustainable journey of every home. We design cusomizable gardening kits and ready-to-use compost boxes for both workshops and private requests. We also prepare our own farm-made potting soil, organic seeds and edible seedlings to substantiate the needs of gardeners everywhere. These products may seem simple but they often prove to play an essential role in sparking a person’s excitement to begin their journey in gardening, composting or both. So we provide expertise in storyline ideation, scriptwriting, project management, on-camera talent and shooting location, We offer these services to any client who wishes to elevate sustainability- related themes with us. 05 Campaigning for Collective Action Ever since 2017, Kebun Kumara has launched our yearly #NoPollutionResolution ‘campaign aimed at encouraging the wider public to segregate their trash. People ‘would come with their recyclable waste and Kebun Kumara would trade them for flowers or edible plants, then proceed to handing aver the collected waste to recycling In 2019, this campaign metamorphosed into what is now Kompos Kolektif, a waste pick-up service aimed to halt the dumping of organic food waste to landfill. In collaboration with Magalarva, Kompos Kolekti offers food waste pick-up service for the Jabodetabek area. In mid-2022, this campaign received additional support from DBS Bank, allowing its services to expand to five locations across Jabodetabek - Jakarta Selatan, Jakarta Timur, Tangerang Selatan, Bekasi dan Depok - with total registrants of 258 houses and a total f 35,004 kg of food waste saved from entering landiills transforming it into 4,130 kg ‘of compost (as of January 2023).
