A group of frogs

A colony of frogs is traveling across a forest in search of a pond. While hopping ard, two
frogs fall into a deep pit. The other frogs gather around the pit and express their concern
over the situation. As the two frogs try to jump out of the deep pit, the other frogs discourage
them by saying how impossible it is to jump out.
The two frogs choose to ignore the demotivating words of others and decide to jump out of
the pit. They try very hard and put in all their efforts to come out of the pit while the frogs
watching from the top tell them to give up.

Eventually, one among them is influenced by the other frogs and dies as it gives up on the
struggle to come out of the pit. The other frog continues to jump as hard as it can.

After an immense struggle, it finally comes out of the pit alive. Other frogs are surprised and
ask how it managed to come up in spite of them telling it to give up. The frog explains that it
is deaf and assumed that everyone was cheering for it.

Moral of the story:

People’s words have a significant impact on our lives. But it is essential as to how we take
them and influence our life

The story of the two frogs in the deep pit carries a valuable moral lesson. It emphasizes the
significance of resilience, determination, and self-confidence when facing challenges.
Moreover, it underscores how the words and attitudes of those around us can have a
profound impact, illustrating that negative or disheartening remarks can be detrimental, while
positive encouragement can serve as a potent source of motivation.

The central message of this tale is that we possess the ability to choose how we interpret
and react to the words and attitudes of others. We can either allow negativity and
discouragement to hinder us, or we can harness them as motivation to prove others wrong
and attain our objectives. Ultimately, it serves as a reminder that our mindset and
determination play a pivotal role in our success and overall well-being.

The False Human Belief

As a man was passing the elephants, he suddenly stopped, confused by the fact that these
huge creatures were being held by only a small rope tied to their front leg. No chains, no
cages. It was obvious that the elephants could, at anytime can break away from their bonds
but for some reason, they did not.
He saw a trainer nearby and asked why these animals just stood there and made no
attempt to get away. “Well,” the trainer said, “when they are very young and much smaller
we use the same size ropes to tie them and, at that age, it’s enough to hold them. As they
grow up, they are conditioned to believe they cannot break away. They believe the rope can
still hold them, so they never try to break free.”
The man was amazed. These animals could at any time break free from their bonds but
because they believed they couldn’t, they were stuck right where they were.
Like the elephants, how many of us go through life hanging onto a belief that we cannot do
something, simply because we failed at it once before?
Moral
Failure is a part of learning. We should never give up the struggle in life. You Fail not
because you are destined to fail, but because there are lessons which you need to learn as
you move on with your life.

The story of the elephants and the small rope carries a powerful message about the
limitations we place on ourselves due to past experiences and beliefs. It serves as a
poignant reminder of how our perception of our abilities can be shaped by past failures and
conditioning.

This narrative highlights the notion that many individuals often hold themselves back
because they believe they cannot succeed based on past setbacks. It raises the question of
how many opportunities we might miss in life simply because we're conditioned to think we
cannot achieve something, even if circumstances have changed or we have grown stronger
and more capable over time.

Ultimately, the story encourages self-reflection and challenges us to reevaluate our beliefs
and limitations. It reminds us that we should not let past failures define our future potential,
and we should be willing to challenge our self-imposed constraints to pursue our goals and
aspirations. Like the elephants, we might discover that our perceived limitations are merely
illusions that can be overcome with the right mindset and determination.
