COURSE DESCRIPTION The course presents the humanistic aspects of Mathematics which provides the historical context and timeline that led to
the present understanding and applications of the different branches of mathematics
COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES Upon completion of the course, the students can:
1. Explain the development of mathematics from early number system to the invention of calculus.
2. Survey the development and use of methods of computation.
