26th Steamtown Marathon Diocesan Convention
The 26th running of the Steam Town marathon will take
place on Sunday, October 8, 2023, beginning at
approximately 8:00 am in Forest City. As a result, and to
prevent possible congestion, there will be no Sunday church
service. Instead, a service will be held on Saturday, October
7, 2023, beginning at 4:00 pm. The Rev. Howard
Stringfellow will officiate.

Diocesan Convention this year will be a two-day, in-

person event on October 13 and October 14, 2023, at
the Centennial Conference Center in Center Valley, PA.
Friday evening will include a diocesan worship service,
beginning at 5:30 pm, followed by dinner, featuring

The Friends of the Poor and Weinberg Food Bank can both use donations and
volunteers, as they provide food giveaways at pantries and temporary drive-
