The SeaKing marine crane’ geometry absolutely eliminates the possibility of booming down Sm into the hook. The operator can park whichever hook is not in use against the anti-two blocking frame to prevent it from fouling the line of the hook in use without fear of damage as the boom is lowered. The hydraulic system prevents damage when either block is pulled into the boom point. ~\CircularDeck - = “things that turn in circles should be round...” The SeaKing marine crane features a circular deck permitting wider walk and work areas, with easier access to valves, motors, pumps and the engine. The square bearing carrier and the thrust washer may be removed by one man using common hand tools with out assist ge ance from another crane. The SeaKing hoist is designed and built by SEATRAX INCORPORATED especially for the SeaKing marine crane and is approved for handling personnel offshore. The Seaking hydraulic hoist has a spring applied, pressure released drum brake, there- fore, drive line failure does not affect load hold- ing capability. All components can be serviced without removing the hoist from its mounting. All bearings, gears and brake assemblies are - interchangeable on all three hoists. ee Most hoists are designed to save space, and have their rotating machinery in the drum core where it is inaccessible, however, SeaKing hoists are designed for strength and ease of maintenance having its rotating machinery out in the open where it is easily accessible. The hoist drum turns on anti-riction bearings, and requires only one shaft seal. The Seaking hoist features an emer- gency load lowering system requiring only acommon crescent wrench to pro- vide controlled load lowering of a sus- pended load in event of a power failure. ingpost Design Marine C a a 296,726 | 246,917 207,191 | 178,327 | 156,405 282,023 | 264,425 | 213,881 | 179,358 | 154,280 | 135,238 | 120,287 | 108,236 | 97,442 139,190 | 125,313 | 113,888 234,927 | 179,378 | 144,789 | 121,181 | 104,041 91,030 | 80,818 | 72,588 | 65,815 | 60,144 i 212,979 | 178,62: 144,236 | 120,763 | 103,721 90,786 | 80,632 | 72,450 65,716 | 60,076 . 3 POT Tee FT B04 E14 116,677 | 97,519 73,139 | 64,904 | 58,277 | 52,827 | 48,268 Beaty 132,010 | 106,265 | 88,765 | 66,501 58,981 52,930 | 47,955 | 43,792 125,205 | 120,864 | 110,915 | 125,242 | 119,773 96,395 80,539 69,076 60,403 101,301 | 81,436 50,878 | 50,405 | 46,099 51 | 43,663 | 39,910 40,483 | 36,676 | 33,493 Ory Byte) 45,116 EL ACL TY bt TTY 34,139 | 29,742 | 18,252 26,304 | 16,661 20,057 | 12,412 17,686 10,877 15,783 | 9,645 14,221 8,633 12,916 7,789 THOTES THE LOADS SHOMVARE WATMUN — LOADS SHOWN ARE GROSS LOADS | STAUCTURAL STATIC RATED LOADS AS WEIGHTS OF BLOCKS AND TACKLE BEFIED BY APISTO 20 THIRD EDITION MUST GE SUBTRACTED TO OOTAIN MARCH 1003 PARAGRAPH 2‘ 4a, NerdADs, ron Marine Cranc e/Ma cimum Structural Static Ratings/Boom Length 70’ a ee ee = 271,005 | 246,446 | 206,735 | 177,881 | 155,968 138,759 | 124,887 | | 113,467 | 103,901 | 95,773 —__| 262,638 | 213,410 | 178,902 | 153,635 | 134,801 | 119,857 | 107,811 | 97,895 | 89,591 | 80,905 | 70,475 178,946 | 144,368 120,766 | 103,631 | 90,624] 80,415 | 72,188 | 65,417 | 59,746 | 54,929 | 50,785 | 178,198 80,258 | 72,080] 65,350) 59,714 SK3800 BL eT 120,367 | 103,335, 54,925 149,713 | 143,535 | 116,345 | 97,195 | 83,329 | 72,826 | 64,594] 57,969 | 52,522) 47,965| 44,096 | 40,769 (TY 165,368 | 131,699 | 105,954] 988,459/ 75,794| 66,201] 58,683| 52,634| 47,600| 43,498 | 39,965 | 36,928 Ret SA at ETT 115,219 | 110,223 | 100,308 55,316 | 50,169 | 45,865 OLY 115,219 | 110,223 | 96,140 ; 5.
