On the way home by Fernando Amorsolo

On the Way Home pays tribute to the workers, both human and animal,
who work the rich crop fields from dawn to dark in its composition. The painting's
mood is calm, and the warm color inspires feelings of familiarity and nostalgia.
Harvest Time is a reminder of the importance of hard effort. The community's
reward is the celebration and sharing of a plentiful harvest, which brings all
generations together.

Traditional 'nipa' huts, a harvest haystack, roosters, and a guy riding a

carabao are all included in this image of a country village. The parade of women
holding umbrellas and men balancing farm supplies in shoulder baskets appears
to be on their way to the local market or to Sunday church, which is a common
occurrence in Philippine provinces. It's a warm and cheerful painting that depicts
the strength of community and man's connection to his surroundings.
