Because of

Because of adalah preposisi kata atau two-word conjunction, digunakan sebelum kata benda atau kata ganti.
Because of memiliki makna by reason of, yang kemudia dalam penulisannya diikuti dengan object yang berupa
noun atau phrase, pronoun, atau verb-ing.

“Because of” formula : . . . because of + noun (phrase) / pronoun / verb-ing

Contoh Because of + noun phrase :

 We were bored because of the speech. – Kami merasa bosan karena pidatonya.
 John was worried because of the rain. – John merasa khawatir karena hujan.

Contoh Because of + pronoun :

 Why are you upset? Don’t you see? We are all here doing this because of you.
 It’s all because of me, he lost everything.

Contoh Because of + verb-ing :

 Because of feeling happy, Edward sings loudly. – Karena merasa senang, Edward bernyanyi dengan keras.
 Because of feeling sick, Tiara didn’t come to school today. – Karena merasa sakit, Tiara tidak datang ke
sekolah hari ini.

Because

Because merupakan subordinate conjunction atau adalah sebuah kata penghubung, yang digunakan pada awal
clause atau klausa, sebelum subjek dan kata kerja. Untuk aturan menggunakan because+clause harus diikuti atau di
lengkapi dengan adanya main clause karena kata tersebut (because + clause) tidak dapat berdiri sendiri.

“Because” formula : because + Subject + Verb / clause + main clause | main clause + because + clause / subject +
verb

Contoh :

 We were bored because the speech is too long. – Kami merasa bosan karena pidatonya terlalu panjang.
 I'm not happy because the film is not so good. – Saya tidak merasa senang karena film ini tidak terlalu
bagus.
 Sinta makes a cake because her mother wants it. – Sinta membuat kue karena ibunya meninginkan kue.
 Because her mother wants it, Sinta makes a cake. – Karena ibunya menginginkan kue, maka Sinta membuat
kue.
