The Present Simple Tense

(Теперішній простий час)

+ noun (іменник) + verb (дієслово).

I, you, we, they + verb. I like to play football.

He, she, it + verb (-s, -es). He likes to play football.

I read a book.

She reads a book.

Sh, ch , x, o, ss – (-es)

Watch – watches

Go – Goes

Play – He plays

Stay (залишатися) – he stays

Try (Намагатися щось робити) – tries

Study – he studies

Noun (іменник) + do / does + not + verb (дієслово).

I, you, we, they + do not (don`t) + verb. I don`t like to play football.

He, she, it + does not (doesn`t) + verb. He doesn`t like to play football.

Do / Does + noun + verb ?

Do + I, you, we, they + verb? Do you like to play football?

Does + he, she, it + verb? Does he like to play football?

Using Present Simple

4) Коли мова йде про розклад:

The bus leaves the station at 7 a.m.

5) Коли мова йде про повторювані дії:

My sister visits me on Mondays.
