Release & Declaration: I, the undersigned, do hereby voluntarily submit my application for the “Pro Karate
Championship 2023.” Organized by Traditional Association of Martial Arts & associated with Hotfut which will be
conducted on 8th October 2023, at Olympic Sports Complex, LakeShore Greens, Khoni, Dombivli East. I further declare
that I am in good physical condition to participate in the Championship. I am also aware that, if the organizers find me
unwell or unfit, then they have the full right to disqualify me for taking part in the event. I also know that if I provide
any wrong information related to my age or weight, I will be barred by the organizers from participating in the event. I
am also aware that all the protective gears that I will use in the event, I hereby take full responsibility for any and/or all
damages, injuries or losses that I may sustain or incur (if any), while participating or attending the events and hereby
waive all claims against the promoters, operators, sponsors, judges, officials, opponents and their families individually
or otherwise, for any claims for injuries that I may sustain in the event. I fully understand that Karate is a body contact
sport and that any medical treatment given to me will be of a First-Aid type only. I will accept their decision in a
sporting way. I also accept that the fees I will pay for my participation in the event is non-refundable and the details
that I have provided above is true to the best of my knowledge.

Championship will be conducted as per the WKF /Association rules.
The Technical committee will be the final decision taker.
Organizing committee will not be responsible for any injuries during the tournament, first aid facilities will be provided.
Participants should have their own Karate safety Kit gloves and guards. Only white karate GI is allowed.
The decision of the chief referee will be final; objection against the same will be taken as misbehavior with the organizers
and can result in disqualification of the whole team.
Officials must be in uniform (Grey Pant, White Shirt and concerned Tie).
All students must carry Age Proof.
Entry fees will not be refundable under any circumstances.
Organizers have the right to alter / cancel any event / weight category.
The contestants/ Team Manager / Coach are responsible for arranging their own equipment like Gloves, Mouth Guard,
Chest Guard & Aka/Ao belts, Foot Protector, Head Guard etc.
The Championship will be conducted on a knock out basis and the updated WKF Rules will be applied.
Any Karate- Martial Arts Federation/Association/Academy can apply for Pro Karate Championship – 2023
The Tournament officials reserve the right to suspend or terminate the match or they may call for immediate
disqualification for any misbehavior.
Alcoholic drinks, smoking, chewing tobacco and drugs are strictly prohibited at the venue of the championship and
accommodation area.
Participants below the age of 18 yrs., he/she has to show proof of his/her date of birth certificate. Please Attach Date of
Birth Certificate & Health Certificate.
Parents are not allowed in the Tournament Arena.
Arguing with the judges / referee or disputing may result in disqualification of the contestant.
Accommodation with nominal charges will be provided only to the Out-station contestant.

Tournament Criteria:
KATA:
1) All contestants must perform Okinawa / Japanese Kata.
2) A contestant must perform a different kata in each.

KUMITE:
1) Duration of Kumite bout for under - 14 year’s boys & girls - 1 Minute 30 Sec.
2) 14 years & above - 3 minutes.
