Damco, HSud and heritage Maersk L&S, getting the team to form One team, assess

 Aggressively develop W&D, Cold Chain, CHB, Air Freight, Insurance & LCL while defending
and growing matured products Landside Transportation, Depot and Lead Logistics to
provide solutions to customers and improve NPS to plus 25 from a negative.
Achievements:
 Revenues of USD 450 Mn and GP of USD 125 Mn
 Investment planning firmed up for resources, infrastructure, and processes to get to plus
USD 1Bn Mn revenues by 2025 (CAGR 23%)
 Matured products of Lead Logistics, Depot and Landside have grown by double digits
while new products have grown in multiples i.e.., LCL, Cold Chain, Insurance and Digital

 As Maersk kick started the transformation journey of its Logistics and Services, most important was to get the people,
processes and infrastructure aligned.
 Newly formed teams had to be guided, supported and capability had to be built
 Understanding the needs of network play and how L&S products would function

Achievements:

 SCM & 4PL: Grew 20% YoY on back of customer understanding, network collaboration and solution designs
 Cold Chain Logistics: Successfully incubated, tested and developed solutions for customers leveraging Maersk strength on
reefers to grow the product 7X.
 eCommerce: Directed and executed along with the eCom lead development of a set of strategic partners to kick start the
business, learning from failures & successes.
 Trade Finance: Turned business profitable at EBIT level in 2020 driven by book building, value additions, allocation leverage
on Maersk ships, new markets including Saudi, UAE, India, Africa and getting the contracts to be done digitally. Gross Profits
grew 35% YoY.
 Tradelens: Successfully piloted eBL offering and thereby growing the product 20X.
