In India, IRIIM is the only Govt. of India, DSIR recognised Research Institute (SIRO) and Govt. of West
Bengal affiliated Training Institute in the field of Acupuncture & Yoga-Naturopathy. On the occasion of
completing more than 40 years (1981-2021) for the promotion & standardization of Acupuncture as an
Independent System of Therapy, IRIIM decided to strengthen relationship with all sections of
Acupuncturists including its' ex. students through: i) Workshop, ii) Continuing Medical Education (CME),
iii) Group Discussion, iv) Regular Webinar meet, v) Updating of knowledge, vi) Interaction and guidance
for further development of practice, teaching, research, propagation & legal work etc. related to
Acupuncture.

Accordingly IRIIM Howrah organises a Workshop & CME on Acupuncture at minimum participation fee
led by its unique Faculty members. We hope participants will carry hands on best Traditional knowledge
with up to date guideline for safe practice of Acupuncture.

The main themes of this program are:

i) "Workshop on application of TCM knowledge in Clinical Practice" and
ii) "Interactive discussion on various aspects related to present and future status of Acupuncture in India"

IRIIM announces next (12th.) All India 300 hrs.(Offline & Online) Acupuncture Certificate course will start
from Dec.17 '22 (Basic) followed by Acupuncture (from Jan.3, '23). Whole course will end in April '23.

Please get registered now by paying Ind.Rs. 2000 to the bank account.

Basic Online classes will be held daily for 7 days from 17.12.22.

Main Acupuncture Online classes will be held on each Mon, Tues, Thurs. & Fridays: 6.30-9 pm. 10 days
compulsory Offline class will be in early Feb.

10 days compulsory Offline Internship may be held in April end /early May

Since inception, IRIIM organizes Training of Integrated Acupuncture both for the Doctors and Freshers, so that
they can integrate or practice these drugless therapies in their day to day work. It runs Acupuncture-Yoga-
Naturopathy College of Research following WHO guideline on Acupuncture Training. Acupuncture Training by
IRIIM for Doctors is affiliated by Council of Acupuncture Therapy, Govt. of W.B. Camp training is also conducted
throughout India. About 2500 persons have been trained here so far. IRIIM was also an IGNOU Programme
Study Centre for Post-Graduate Diploma in Acupuncture Training. IRIIM is conducting 1 Yr. Cert. course in
Acupuncture for Medicos in Kerala since 2008 with its Kerala Faculty.
IRIIM also conducts separately 1 year Yoga - Naturopathy "Registered Yoga Trainee" course for 10 or
equivalent passed people, this course is recognised by Govt. of West Bengal Council of Yoga-Naturopathy.
