There must be more to life than this How do we cope in a world without love Mending all those broken hearts and tending to those crying faces There must be more to life than living There must be more than meets the eye Why should it be just a case of black or white There must be more to life than this
Why is this world so full of hate
People dying everywhere And we destroy what we create People fighting for their human rights But we just go on saying c'est la vie So this is life
There must be more to life than killing
A better way for us to survive What good is life, if in the end we all must die, There must be more to life than this
There must be more to life than this
there must be more to life than this I live and hope for a world filled with love Then we can all just live in peace there must be more to life, much more to life, There must be more to life, more to life than this

Did the artist mean more than what the lyrics say? Yes, he is dying for change and understanding to happen because the issues of colour discrimination caused a lot of deaths and displacements especially in U.S. (even before the time that there were advocates who fought for the rights of the blacks like Mandella and Luther King) Former South African president and civil rights advocate Nelson Mandela dedicated his life to fighting for equality—and ultimately helped topple South Africa's racist system of apartheid. His accomplishments are now celebrated each year on July 18, Nelson Mandela International Day. Martin Luther King, Jr., is known for his contributions to the American civil rights movement in the 1960s. His most famous work is his “I Have a Dream” speech, delivered in 1963, in which he spoke of his dream of a United States that is void of segregation and racism. 4. Reflect and draw some life experiences related to the lyric of song. Nowadays, this issues are happening. The COVID-19 pandemic has brought many issues that include Asians. Many racists are attacking Asians because they believe that the pandemic was caused by Asians. 5. What type of music did you listen to? It is classic because serious or conventional music following long-established principles rather than a folk, jazz, or popular tradition. It is also considered pop music because the genre of popular music produces the most hits. Like, songs that become hits almost always share certain features that are sometimes called the pop-music formula. They have a good rhythm, a catchy melody, and are easy to remember and sing along to.
