BEFORE WE START...

We have a question for all of you.

Do you know any
Czech celebrities?
Do you know any
Czech foods?
WHAT WE HOPE TO TEACH
THE AUDIENCE
We hope to educate the audience
more about czech culture and
how we live .

Talk about the stereotypes that we face and

the racism we experience being Czech living in
England+ other aspects of our culture and
how it is living in England as a Czech person.
Questions we’re going
to ask Czech people

Stereotypes Czech people face living in England.

Traditions we do on holidays / how we celebrate
differently.
Food, and how easy it is to get in the uk.
How different it is to live in England than in Czech.
What message we would like to send to people in
the uk that don’t understand Czech people and
culture.
WHY WE CHOSE
THIS
This documentary is informative since Czech culture is
not that known about and not many people know about
the history and origin of Czech Republic/Czechia ( now
known as ).Therefore we want to talk about the unique
aspects we have in the culture such as our hidden
language that is passed on only from family , and
different things we do that others do not.

WHO IS OUR TARGET
AUDIENCE?

Our target audience is 16-18 year olds. We would like to

inform the younger generation about Czech culture
because Czech culture isn’t as explored as much as other
cultures seen in Western countries.
CAMERA TECHNIQUES
Our documentary will be filmed in an
interview style with fly on the wall
elements included , we’ll use
closeups/master shots for interviews
and wide/medium shots to present the
B-roll shots.
Market research
We put up two polls for people to answer for our project

This is our market research we searced for

documentires that talk about different countires and
culture
5 Broken Cameras: Beginning in 2005, Palestinian Emad Burnet
records his village's resistance to the encroachment of Israeli
settlements.
Village At The End Of The World is a witty, surprising and ultimately
feel good portrait of an isolated village of 59 people and 100
sledge dogs, surviving against the odds.
Legal and Ethical
Things to consider whilst making the documentary is
having a location where people won’t interrupt whilst
filming.

Problems we may face is time and weather conditions

as we will either have to find a new loctaion which we
could use the studio or indoor locations.

We might have a locations in a czech shop we’ll have to wait and see
if we have permission to film .
We will be recording in the studio and in
outside locations.
Equipment we are going to use is a tripod,
a microphone and a camera. We will also

🇬🇧
use chairs, a key light, a fill light and a
🇨🇿+🇸🇰+🇭🇺 🇷🇺+🇹🇷+🇨🇿 back light.

We will be interviewing
both Czech and non-
Czech people and will
also include B-roll
footage over the audio
of them speaking.

YOUR TIME
