1. Position & velocity of two particles moving along x-axis is shown in diagram at t = 0. What
is the displacement of centre of mass of the given system of two particles in 5 sec ?
2. In the figure, the block B of mass m starts from at rest top of a wedge W of mass M. All
surfaces are without friction. W can slide on the ground. B slides down onto the ground,

13. The centre of mass of a solid object which is formed by rotating a parabola x = ky2 about x-

15. An impulse of I = 30N-sec is given at t = 0 to 3 kg block attached with 2 block with the help
of spring in natural length. Initially the system is at rest and all surfaces are smooth. Find
