The 2000 Hail Mary
The 2000 Hail Mary
HAIL MARY, FULL OF GRACE, THE LORD IS WITH THEE; BLESSED ART THOU
AMONGST WOMEN, AND BLESSED IS THE FRUIT OF THEY WOMB, JESUS. HOLY
MARY, MOTHER OF GOD, PRAY FOR US SINNERS, NOW AND AT THE HOUR OF
OUR DEATH. AMEN
Because Mary is “Full of Grace,” each “Hail Mary” we pray opens our soul to precious
graces which enrich our spirit with an increase of her virtues, and lead as into a deeper
union with the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus.
Fr. Martin, S.S.C.C.
When the Hail Mary is said with attention, devotion and modesty, it is a hammer against
the devil, the sanctification of souls, the joy of angels, the melody of the predestined, the
canticle of the New Testament, the delight of Mary and the Glory of the blessed Trinity.
The Hair Mary is a heavy dew which renders the soul fertile, it is a chaste and loving kiss
bestowed on Mary; it is a deep red rose presented to Her, it is a chalice of divine nectar
lifted to Her lips.
St. Louis De Montfort
Before the feast of the Immaculate Conception, Blessed Faustina prayed 1000 Hail
Marys’ each day for 9 consecutive days.
Rev. George Kosicki, C.S.B.
Blessed Beneventura Bojani used to say, as a child, 1000 Hail Marys each day to our
Lady; 2000 on Saturdays plus saing 700 Our Fathers and 700 Hail Marys, making a
different intention for each 100 prayed.
Blessed Margaret of Hungary, O.P. had a custom of reciting prostate on the floor 1000
Our Fathers on Vigils of feast days of Our Lord, and 1000 Hail Marys on the eve of
feasts of Our Lady.
Louis Kacsmarek
Go united Mary to Him, that She shares everything with Him. Let us entrust ourselves to
Her. For She is our Mother and Her pure hands will know to embellish our offering, to
present it to God.
Fr. Rene Laurentin
Our prayers and sacrifices presented to God with Mary’s hands, take on a special beauty
an enhanced values.
Apostleship of Prayer
When people are in the love, they say so – not once, but thousands of time, over again
and again and again. Repetition is the language of love. The rosary is the language of
love.
Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen
Pray 2000 Hail mary in preparation for the 2000th celebration of the incarnation of Our
Lord Jesus Christ.
Rev. Msgr. Juan Riu
Pope John Paul II speaks of the present time as a new advent, a new time of preparation
for the coming of Jesus Christ.
II. There are 20 General Petition Prayers. One petition is read before each 10
decades of the rosary (equivalent to100 Hail Marys). One person may lead the

Sorrowful Mysteries) are over. Go to the next petition and start with the
mysteries of the rosary until the 20 petitions are over. Pray the Hail Holy
Queen after the rosary of the 20 th petition. There are 40 rosaries prayed for
the 20 petitions.

OPENING PRAYERS
Blessed be the Holy Trinity, One God, now and forever. Amen. Glory be to the Father,
Who created me; Glory be to the Son, Who redeemed me; Glory be to the Holy Spirit,
Who sanctifies me.
We pray and implore the Holy Spirit to come down and bestow upon us His Holy Gifts,
so that we will be inflamed with the power of His love.
And, once again, we gather ourselves together before You, dearest Blessed Mother, to
pray for ALL Your intentions. We know that You bring our humble prayers together with
Yours, before the throne of God and Your Beloved Son, and that, in Your loving hands,
You will dispense of them, for You know best to apply them where they are most
needed.
ACT OF CONTRITION
O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended THEE, and I detest all my sins
because I dread the loss of heaven and the pains of hell, but most of all because they
offend THEE my God, who art all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve with
the help of THY grace to confess my sins, to do penance, and to amend my life. Amen.
On my knees before the great multitude of heavenly witnesses I offer myself, soul and
body to you, Eternal Spirit of God. I adore the brightness of Your purity the unerring
keenness of Your injustice and the might of your love. You are the Strength and Light of
my soul. In You I live and move and am. I desire never to grieve You by unfaithfulness to
grace and, I pray with all my heart to be kept from the smallest sin against You.
Mercifully guard my every thought and grant that I always watch for Your Light and listen
to Your voice and follow Your gracious inspirations. I cling to You and give myself to you
and ask You by Your compassion to watch over me in my weakness. Holding the pierced
feet of Jesus and looking at His Five Wounds and trusting in His Precious Blood and
adoring His opened Side and stricken Heart, I implore you adorable Spirit, Helper of my
infirmity, so to keep me in Your grace that I may never sin against You Give me grace O
Holy Spirit, Spirit of the Father and the Son to say to You always and everywhere “Speak
Lord for You servant heareth”. Amen.
Most sweet Jesus, Redeemer of the human race, look down upon us humbly prostrate
before Your altar. We are Yours and Yours we wish to be, but to be more surely united to
You, behold we freely consecrate ourselves today to Your Most Sacred Heart.
Many indeed have never known You; many, too, despising Your precepts, have rejected
You. Have mercy on them all, most merciful Jesus, and draw them to Your Sacred
Heart/
Be King, O Lord, not only of the faithful who have never forsaken You, but also of the
prodigal children who have abandoned You. Grant that they may quickly return to their
Father’s house lest they die of wretchedness and hunger. Be king of those who are
deceived by erroneous opinions, or whom discord keeps aloof, and call them back to the
harbor of truth and unity of faith, so that soon there may be but one flock and one
Shepherd.
Grant, O Lord, to Your Church, assurance of freedom and immunity from harm, give
peace and order to all nations, and make the earth resound from pole to pole with one
cry: Praise to the Divine Heart that wrought our Salvation, to Him be glory and Honor
forever. Amen.
ACT OF CONSECRATION TO
THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY
(for Religious and Laity)
Virgin of Fatima, Mother of Mercy, Queen of Heaven and Earth, Refuge of Sinners, we
who belong to the Marian Movement consecrate ourselves in a very special way to your
Immaculate Heart.
By this Act of Consecration we intend to live, with You and through You, all the
obligations assumed by our baptismal consecration. We further pledge to bring about in
ourselves that interior conversion so urgently demanded by the Gospel, a conversion
that will free us of every attachment to ourselves and easy compromises with the world
so that, like you, we may be available only to do always the will of the Father.
And as we resolve to entrust to You, O Mother most sweet and merciful, our life and
vocations as Christians, that You may dispose of it according to Your designs of
salvation. In His hour of decision that weighs upon the world, we pledge to live it
according to Your desires, especially as it pertains to a renewed spirit of prayer and
penance, the fervent participation in the celebration of the Eucharist and in the works of
the apostolate; the daily recitation of the holy rosary, and an austere manner of life in
keeping with the Gospel, that shall be of to all a good example of the observance of the
law of God and the practice of the Christian virtues, especially that of purity.
We further promise You to be united with the Holy Father, with the hierarchy and with our
priests, in order thus to set up a barrier to the growing confrontation directed against the
Magisterium, that threatens the very foundation of the Church.
Under your protection, we want moreover to be apostles of this sorely needed unity of
prayer and love for the Pope, on whom we invoke your special protection.
And lastly, insofar as is possible, we promise to lead those souls with whom we come in
contact to a renewed devotion to you.
Mindful that atheism has cause shipwreck in the faith to a great number of the faithful,
that desecration has entered into the holy temple of God, and that evil and sin are
spreading more and more throughout the world, we make so bold as to lift our eyes
trustingly to you, O Mother of Jesus and our merciful and powerful Mother, and we
invoke you again today and await from you the salvation of all your children, O clement,
O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.

GENERAL PETITIONS
I. I BELIEVE IN GOD
II. OUT FATHER 91)
III. HAIL MARY (3)
IV. GLORY BE
V. O MY JESUS
PETITION # 2. WE PRAY FOR PEACE AND UNITY. Let peace begin within us and
from us, so that we, in turn, may spread peace in the world to all mankind. Heal us of our
faults and weaknesses and let us realize that if we want to be cleansed and to be
healed, we must first have total forgiveness and love in our hearts. Let us not dwell on
things that are not of God, like anger, pride, envy, and selfishness, but instead, pour into
our hearts, through the Holy Spirit, the gifts of love, humility, patience, forgiveness and
understanding. It is only through dying to one’s self that one can truly have Peace.
Amen.
PETITION # 10. WE PRAY FOR THE INCREASE OF PRAYER GROUPS, SISAS AND
CENACLES. May we have the grace to live the messages of Our Mother Mary in our
hearts, that we may in turn work and inspire the formation of more prayer groups. Bless
and protect the prayer groups, sisas and cenacles from disunity and discord. Bestow
upon them your special graces – of love and unity. Amen.
PETITION # 11. WE PRAY FOR THE ACCEPTANCE OF OUR OWN CROSS – AND
ABANDON OURSELVES COMPLETELY TO JESUS CHRIST AND HIS DIVINE WILL.
As He Himself said, “If you want to be WITH ME, pick up your cross and follow me, for
whoever picks up his cross and looks back, is not worthy to follow Me”. So, whatever
trials and sufferings we encounter, may we offer them to Jesus and not be afraid,
because He is with us, when we put our faith, trust, and confidence in Him.
K. JOYFUL AND LUMINOUS MYSTERIES
PETITION # 12. WE PRAY FOR OUR DELIVERANCE FROM THE ENEMY, THE
DEVIL. Mother Mary, please rescue us the moment Satan or any other evil spirit tries to
tempt us to fall into sin and deliver us from all distractions that pull us away from the path
that leads to You AND Jesus. Grant us the wisdom to discern, so that we will be able to
distinguish right from wrong and good from evil. You have obtained from your Divine Son
that all advocates of the rosary shall have for intercessors the entire celestial court
during their life and at the hour of death. So, in this great battle for souls, let us arm
ourselves with the power of the rosary and the Holy Eucharist, wear the miraculous
medal and the scapular with faith, to save us from the eternal fire of hell.
PETITION # 13. WE PRAY FOR FASTING NOT ONLY FROM FOOD, BUT ALSO
FROM WORDLY AND MATGERIAL THINGS, AND OFFER THEM TO YOU IN
SACRIFICE. Let us fasting from good and the materialism of this world be our offering
for the atonement of our sins and be our reparation for the sins of mankind. Make us
aware of our priorities in life, which are salvation of souls, and the detachment from the
materialism that this world falsely offers. All these hinder us from the love, knowledge,
and service of God.
PETITION # 14. WE PRAY FOR THE INFIRM, THE AGED, THE SICK AND THE
DYING. Comfort and bless them in their last days. May they lift and offer their life’s
sufferings to God, receive the last sacrament, obtain pardon for their sins, and thereby
merit the fullness of God’s grace. In the end, may Our Lord and His Blessed Mother take
them safely home to their eternal abode in Heaven.
PETITION # 15. WE PRAY FOR THE POOR, THE HUNGRY, THE HOMELESS, AND
IN PARTICULAR, THE WIDOWS AND THE ORPHANS, FOR IT IS ESPECIALLY INT
HEM THAT WE SEE THE LORD. Bless them in their needs, O Lord, and give them their
means of support. We also pray for those who are in prison. Touch their hearts for total
conversion and grant them Your peace. We pray that these beloved children of God may
be spared from oppression, and that we may never refuse their cry for help.
PETITION # 17. WE PRAY FOR OUR PRIESTS, THE RELIGIOUS AND THE
MISSIONARIES WHO HAVE CONSECRATED THEIR LIVES TO SERVE YOUR
PEOPLE SPIRITUALLY IN LOVE AND DILIGENCE. May they be renewed in spirit and
faithful to their vows and commitment to God. Keep them from sickness, temptation and
harm, so that they may give more of themselves unselfishly and my become more
zealous in their apostolate.
PETITION # 18. WE PRAY OFR ALL FAMILIES AND OUR OWN FAMILIES, TOO.
May families always be together in love and in prayer. Let children honor and love their
parents. Let parents protect and love their children the way God loves and protects His
children. We pray that wives and children be spared from abuse and molestation of all
sorts. May all families grow spiritually in unity and faith with Jesus and Mary. May God
bestow on us His blessings and His Divine Mercy and protect us from the terrible
chastisement that is to come.
PETITION # 19. WE PRAY FOR THOSE WHO ARE IN PILGRIMAGE TO SEEK YOU.
May all who seek You, Jesus, through our Mother Mary, find happiness and fulfillment in
their search for you. We also pray for all travelers that they may be protected from harm
and safety reach their destinations in Your grace.
PETITION # 20. WE PRAY FOR OUR OWN INTENTIONS (HERE MENTION THEM
SILENTLY…). We consecrate ourselves to You, O Lord. We pray for Your grace and
ask You to accept all the intentions, which are in accordance with Your Holy Will, that we
have humbly brought to the foot of Your altar today. We ask these from the Father,
through the intercession of our Mother Mary, in Jesus Most Holy Name. Amen.
Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of mercy, hail our life, our sweetness, and our hope! To you do
we cry, poor banished children of Eve! To you do we send up our sighs, mourning and
weeping in this valley of tears! Turn, then most gracious advocate, your eyes of mercy
towards us; and after this, our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of your womb, Jesus!
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary!
Remember, O Most Gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled
to your protection, implored your help or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired with this confidence I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To You I
come, before you I stand sinful and sorrowful, O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise
not my petitions, but in your mercy hear and answer me. Amen.
Hail, most loving Hearts of Jesus and Mary, We venerate You. We love
and honor You. We give and consecrate ourselves to You forever. Receive us and
possess us entirely. Purify, enlighten and sanctify us, so that we may love You, Jesus,
with the Heart of Mary, and love you, Mary, with the Heart of Jesus.
Praised be God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Praise be the
Holy Spirit of God who united These Two Hearts together! May He unite our hearts and
every heart so that we may live in unity in imitation of that sacred unity which exists in
These Two Hearts.
Triumph O Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary. Reign, O Most
Sacred Heart of Jesus, in our hearts, in our homes and families, in Your Church, in the
lives of all the faithful, in the hearts of those who as yet know You not, and all the nations
of the world. Establish in the hearts of all mankind the sovereign triumph and reign of
your Two Hearts so that the earth may resound form pole to pole with one cry: “Blessed
forever be the most sacred of Heart of Jesus and the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of
Mary!”
O dearest St. Joseph, I entrust myself to your honor and give myself to
you, that you may always be father, my protector, and my guide in the way of salvation.
Obtain for me a greater purity of heart and a fervent love of the interior life. After your
example, may I do all my actions for the greater glory of God in union with the Divine
Heart of Jesus, and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. O blessed St. Joseph, pray for me,
that I may share in the peace and joy of your holy death. Amen.
X. INVOCATIONS.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
THE ANGELUS
Let us Pray:
Pour fourth, we beseech, THEE, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts. That
we, to whom the incarnation of Christ THY son was made known by the message of an
angel, may by his passion and cross be brought to the glory of His resurrection;
THOUGH THE SAME CHRIST OUR LORD. AMEN.
“You died Jesus, but the source of life flowed out for souls and the ocean of mercy
opened up for the whole world. O fountain of life, immeasurable divine mercy, cover the
whole world and empty yourself out upon us. O blood and water which flowed out from
the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of mercy for us, I trust in you.”
Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One have mercy on us and the whole world.
Amen. (Repeat Three Time)
AMEN
Jesus, King of Divine Mercy we trust in You!
