Explosion Box

You will need:

• templates for the lid, outer layer, middle layer and inner layer printed
onto light card
• scissors
• glue
• a ribbon
• things to decorate your explosion box - photos, stickers, pens, markers,
washi tape
• four paper clips (optional)

Instructions:

Lid
1. Cut out the template along the dotted lines.

2. Fold along the lines, add glue to the square corners and fold them inward. You can
secure the corners with paper clips until the glue has dried if you would like to.

Outer Layer
1. Cut out the template along the dotted lines.

2. Decorate the inside of the box (the side without a pattern), except for the middle square.

3. Fold along the lines, then unfold.

Middle Layer
4. Cut out the template along the dotted lines.

5. Decorate both the front and back of the template, leaving the middle square blank on
the back.

6. Fold along the lines, then unfold.

7. Put glue on the blank middle square and stick onto the inside middle square of the
outer layer.

Inside Layer
1. Cut out the template along the dotted lines.

2. Decorate both the front and back of the template, leaving the middle square blank on
the back.

3. Fold along the lines, then unfold.

4. Put glue on the blank middle square and stick onto the inside middle square of the
middle layer.
