Mishra’s TPACK Model: Its application on Teaching Mathematics

What are the available technologies that you can use with your existing knowledge on
mathematical content and pedagogy?

We all know that the best technology and instructional materials is our teacher. The
teachers will always rely on machineries and equipment that contributes to teaching-
learning process in teaching mathematics. The available technologies that we use are
using laptops and projectors, with these technologies we can create a PowerPoint
presentation not only in discussing the topics in mathematics but also in creating a
video presentation, activities, printed materials and also some effective instructional
materials. For example in teaching geometry without technologies we cannot easily
figured out how the polygons are formed and how it is being classified according to their
groups and how it is being solved. By using technologies, we can enlighten the minds of
our learners, gives more exmples and can easily explained the topics that we are
discussing.
