Arcade Stick

To turn on the Arcade Stick press the power switch located at the back of the cabinet. Once the cabinet has been
turned on you will see the “RetroPie” after a few seconds. Arcade Stick will automatically start with “Arcade” and
“Console” games on the wheel. This will take approx. 1 min. Change the picture size on your TV to “Native” so the
entire picture from the Arcade Stick shows on the screen.

Button Configuration

Button configuration is similar to a Super Nintendo controller.

Top row White Player – (Start) Yellow – (Select/Coin) Red Exit – (Hot Key)

Middle row button 1 – (Y) button 2 – (X) button 3 – (left shoulder)

Bottom row button 4 – (B) button 5 – (A) button 6 – (right shoulder)

Use the button 4 (B) to select a game or enter a menu. Button 5 (A) will exit the game menu back to main menu.

While in the menu the White Player (Start) button will bring up the Main Menu. Ignore this unless you need to
change some menu options. The Yellow (Coin) button will be up the Quick Access menu. You can select Shutdown
or User Manual. To exit these menus, just press the button again.

Selecting Game / Console

Starting at the top menu (press player 1 button 4 (B) to get to main menu). You can navigate the console and
arcade systems available. If you press the Player 1 button 4 (B) to enter the desired system. To start a game, press
the player 1 button 4 (B) to start. You will get the boot screen for the console or arcade game. Some boot
sequences can take up to 1 minute. Once the game has started, coin up the arcade games with yellow coin buttons
at the top of the arcade stick. For console games use the player 1 (Start) or player 2 (Start) white buttons for Start
and Select. Similar to a SNES controller. To exit the game, press the Exit (Hot Key) button plus the Player 1 (Start)
white button.

Options

Save States “Save” – this will enable saving the status of your game. When you are ready to quit game, Red (Hot
Key) Button plus Player 1 Button 1 (Y). You will see Save State Saved bottom of the screen.

Save States “Load” – this will Load the last saved status of your game. When you are ready to load game, Press Red
(Hot Key) button plus Player 1 Button 2 (X). You will see Load State Saved bottom of the screen.

Quick Menu – this will bring up the Quick menu to change game configurations. Only use this menu if you know
what you are doing. Any changes here will affect game play and turning on Arcade Stick. Press the Red (Hot Key)
button and Player 1 button 4 (B).
Volume & Pause Game

To turn up or down volume use the TV remote control. The Arcade Stick does not control volume.

Exit Game

To exit a game, press the Red button (Hot Key) and White Player 1 (Start) buttons. To shut down the Arcade Stick,
press the power switch at back of the cabinet.

Shutdown Arcade Stick

Press White Player 1 button, move joystick to “Quit” press button 4, then “Shutdown System”, press button 4,
then select “Yes” and press button 4. Now turn off power.

Switch from Arcade Stick to Xbox 360 Wired Joystick

To switch from Arcade Stick to Xbox 360 joystick for Dreamcast, N64 or any other games. Plug in Xbox USB in back
of Arcade Stick. Press White Player 1 button for Main Menu, scroll to Controllers & Bluetooth setting, go to “Input
P1” and move Arcade Stick or Xbox D-pad to #2 MicroSoft Xbox 360 Pad. This will enable the Player 1 functions to
work off the Xbox controller and disabling the Player 1 on Arcade Stick. You can also do this for Player 2 or add
Players 3 or 4 to a game. Now scroll down to “back” and exit the Main Menu by pressing White Player 1 button.
Remember to change it back once you are done, or the Arcade Stick Player 1 etc won’t work next time you turn on.
