Dear Sir,
This is to notify you that your Bid dated September 4th, 2021 for execution of "Construction of road
from Goroimari to Nikori Gutung of Goroimari and Nikori Village (Chainage 0.00Km to Chainage 3.25Km) in
Golaghat District [Package No. APART/NOCP/ROADS/GLT-02]" for the accepted contract price of Rs.
3,59,64,771.00 (Rupees Three Crores Fifty Nine Lakhs Sixty Four Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy One only),
in accordance with the Instructions to Bidder is hereby accepted by the Department.
You are requested to furnish the Performance Security plus Additional Security for Unbalanced Bid and
ESHS Security in terms of 1TB Clause 41 and SO and in the form detailed in 1TB Clause SO, for amounts of Rs.
35,96,500.00 (Rupees Thirty Five Lakhs Ninety Six Thousand Five Hundred Only) and Rs.3,60,000.00 (Rupees
Three Lakhs Sixty Thousand Only) respectively within 21 days of the receipt of this letter of acceptance and visit
this office to sign the contract, failing which action as stated in 1TB Clause 50.2 will be taken in accordance with
the Conditions of Contract. The securities shall be valid upto 28 days from the date of expiry of Defect Liability
and shall be as per the Performance Security Form and ESHS Performance Security Form, included in Section-X­
Contract Forms, of the bidding document.
We accept that Mr. Khagendra Chowdhury, Retd. Secretary, PWD, Assam be appointed as the
Adjudicator.
We note that as per bid, you do not intend to subcontract any component of work.
We have reviewed the construction methodology submitted by you along with the bid in response to
1TB Clause 16 and our comments are given in the attachment. You are requested to submit a revised Program
including environmental management plan as per Clause 26 of General Conditions of Contract within 14 days of
receipt of this letter of acceptance.
