Gecko or Tuko is the name of one of the characters in our story today. Let us see if
you remember the words we learned today.

Read the story aloud. Let the learners participate predicting what is to come next in
the story they are listening to, by stopping at some points of the story to ask them
what they think will happen next. (This will also help the teacher to draw out different
kinds of emotions from the learners.)

Days passed and the Bubuli Symphony orchestra became known to the land.
Many animals admired Tuko as the star conductor.
One day, Tuko’s friend came to visit him. They offered Tuko a bunch of daisies
and a tray of lilies. Tuko was filled with joy. He thanked his friends for their
thoughtfulness.

“Tiki, would you like to join the orchestra?” asked Tuko. “Oh, friend Tuko, I’d
love to! But I love more listening to it. Besides, I don’t know how to sing.”
