Number Cards Ganme Case-Study-1

Amit was playing a number card game. In the game ,some number cards
(having both +ve or-ve numbers ) are arranged in a row such that they are
following an arithmetic progiessivn .On the first turn hepicks
up 6th and
14 card and finds theirsum to be -76.0n the second turn he picks up 8"
And 16th card and finds their sum to be -96
Based on the above information ,answer the following questions,

1. What is the difference between the numbers on any two cards?

2. Find the sum of numbers on the first 15 cards.
14 Case Study-2
Fire Incident
There is afire incident in a house, the house door is locked so the fireman
is trying to enter the house through the window .He places the ladder
against the wall in such a way that its top just reaches the window.
On the basis of this answer the following questions.

1. If the window is 6m above the ground and the angle made by the
foot of the ladder to the ground is 300, then find the length of the
ladder.

2. If the fireman places the ladder 5 m away from the foot of the 2
wall and the angle of observation is observed to be 300, then find
the length ofthe ladder.
