All Things Bright and Beautiful
Earth Day by Cecil Frances Alexander
All things bright and beautiful, The sunset, and the morning, All creatures great and small, That brightens up the sky; All things wise and wonderful, The Lord God made them all. The cold wind in the winter, The pleasant summer sun, Each little flower that opens, The ripe fruits in the garden, Each little bird that sings, He made them every one. He made their glowing colors, He made their tiny wings. He gave us eyes to see them, And lips that we might tell, The purple-headed mountain, How great is God Almighty, The river running by, Who has made all things well. The sunset, and the morning, That brightens up the sky;
The cold wind in the winter,
The pleasant summer sun, The ripe fruits in the garden, He made them every one.
He gave us eyes to see them,
And lips that we might tell, How great is God Almighty, Who has made all things well.
