Para 1:
❖ The Holy Prophet (PBUH) was sad after the death of his uncle Abu Talib, and Hazrat Khadija, his wife (
describe his sorrow and the year was called Aam-ul Huzn). He was also tense and sorrowful because of
rejection at Taif.
( Quote “Prophet PBUH made dua (prayer)while returning from Taif)

the Holy Kaaba, and then on Buraq (horse-like winged creature) to Jerusalem to Masjid-e-Aqsa.

filled with milk and the other was filled with wine. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) chose milk and drank it
and the angel said:
“You have been guided on the fitrah”.

Hazrat Musa on the 6th heaven.
❖ He met Hazrat Ibrahim on the 7th heaven where he was shown Bait-e-Mamoor i.e. the House of Allah
(Qiblah of the angels).( can add the significance of H.Ibrahim near Bait-e- Mamoor was that he was one
who build Kaaba on Earth therefore he was present there)
❖ When the Holy Prophet (PBUH) asked Hazrat Gibrael about it, he said
“This is Bait-e-Mamoor we're 70,000 angels perform prayer every day and when they leave they
never return to it and always a fresh batch comes daily”.
❖ Then the Holy Prophet (PBUH) was taken to “Sidra tul Muntaha'' where Allah’s throne began. Beyond
this limit, angel Gibrael could not accompany the Holy Prophet (PBUH) otherwise his wings would burn.
It is where the Prophet PBUH saw angel Gabriel in his true glory .(mention how angel Gabriel looked
like)
❖ Beyond that Allah spoke to him (PBUH) directly. It is believed by scholars that there was a veil between
the two as Allah's glory is unbearable.

the Prophet (PBUH), if they did not commit shirk.

❖ At first, 50 prayers were made obligatory; however on his way down, Hazrat Musa suggested the Holy
Prophet (PBUH) to get them reduced. They were reduced to 40, then 30, then 10 then eventually 5.
Hazrat Musa was of the same point of view again but the Prophet (PBUH) replied:

“I have asked my Lord till I'm ashamed to ask Him”.

❖ Makkans mocked the Holy Prophet (PBUH) especially Abu Jahl ,about the impossibility of the journey
but he (PBUH) described, (in detail) a caravan he saw on the way, yet the pagans denied it called it
(sorcery )and didn’t believe in him.
❖ The Holy Quran says

“When they see a miracle, they turn their faces away and say this is perpetual magic”.

❖ His (PBUH) companions like Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA) confirmed that if the Holy Prophet (PBUH) said it
happened, then it did. For this, he was given the title of “Al-Siddique” the testifier of truth.
❖ This event is also mentioned in the Quran in Surah Isra:

‘Praise be to Him who carried His servant by night from the Sacred mosque to the Farthest
mosque whose precincts We have blessed, that We might show him some of Our signs’.
● The event increased the Prophet”s PBUH morale and felt elated and blessed.
