Given:
Written information, samples of tubing of various diameters, tube
bending tools and equipment.
Performance
Level 3: Through instruction by lecture, demonstration, discussion and a
high degree of practical application the student shall gain knowledge of
general principles, be knowledgeable of a high degree of practical
applications and shall develop sufficient manipulative skills to
simulate a return to service
Standard:
All bends will meet return-to-service per AC 43.13 for circular shape
and smooth appearance and will conform to minimum bend radii rules.

Sections of replacement tubing and various fluid carrying systems
installed in an airplane or mock-up and written information
Performance:
Level 3: Through instruction by lecture, demonstration, discussion and a
high degree of practical application the student shall gain knowledge of
general principles, be knowledgeable of a high degree of practical
applications and shall develop sufficient manipulative skills to
simulate a return to service
Standari
The student will install a replacement section of tubing as a procedure
to repair the fluid systems. The installation will meet return to
Service standards per AC43.13. The system functions normally with no
leaks in the replacement section of the system.
