historical fiction, and action drama. And somehow Filipino millennial adapted to the

culture they see in k-dramas which include verbal and non-verbal expression and

imitating the simple Korean practices and fashion style which affects the preferences

and interest of Filipinos. In conclusion, indeed Filipino have a sense of identification

with Koreans lifestyle, practices, and dramas which seen in today’s condition.

In the Comparative Study conducted by Cabello et al., (2018) is about the

Effects of Korean Drama Consumption to the Patriotism of University of the East-

professional actor with technology advancement and quality of the films compared to

Filipino production. Hence, it is situated that Korean TV drama fans are dependent on
foreign media because of their increasing and continuous dependence to the said

media in satisfying their Neesa and wants.
