The information on this page is for IT professionals who wish to deploy the installation of the

free Class Notebooks add-in for OneNote to PCs across their organization. It explains the system
requirements and configuration options for the Class Notebooks add-in.

For IT based installations, the provided MSI file will perform per-machine installation so that the
Class Notebooks add-in will be available to all users on the machine.

There are 2 prerequisites for installing the Class Notebooks add-in: OneNote 2013 or higher and
Microsoft .NET 4.5. Before running setup via the MSI file, OneNote 2013 or higher and
Microsoft .NET 4.5 must be installed first.

The latest versions of the add-in now have the ability to configure Learning Management
Systems (LMS) through Windows Group Policy. The Group Policy templates are available to
