01 THE OPERATIONS OF THE FATHER

Module II “And there are diversity of operations, but it is the same God who does all things in all.”
Doctrine (1 Corinthians 12:6)
Basic

AND
In the Old Testament, we can see how the power of God the Father acted in his servants to carry out a
supernatural work, to make his power known. These actions are “operations” (1 Cor. 12:6) and make
us know a powerful God who has control over all things.

l
The word “operations” is translated from the Greek energema , which means working , a verb specified in the present
continuous , indicating that God the Father gives the gifts now, as he gave them in the beginning, and that they are
always valid (Strong 1755). The word “energema” is translated from the Greek energeo which means effective work
fervently performed by a person with superhuman power (Strong 1754).

In the Old Testament, we can see how the power of God the Father acted in his servants to perform supernatural things. The
Father's operations are manifested in three facets: wonders, signs and wonders (Acts. 2:22 RV 1909). Sometimes these
terms are used as synonyms, but studying their meaning we see that they have differences.

1. WONDERS. (Acts. 2:22) The word "wonders" is translated from the Greek dunamis which means power and ability
inherent. It is used in works of supernatural origin and character, which could not be produced by natural agents and
means, it can also be translated as miracles (Strong 1411)

In the New Testament we find that God performed extraordinary miracles by the hand of Paul (Acts. 19:10-11), this
teaches us that in some cases miracles are related to a ministration to the body (Mr. 6:1-5) There are examples of
miracles in the Old Testament performed by the Father, in the New Testament, we find miracles performed by the
Father through Jesus and through the church, let's see:

a. HEALTH
i. NAAMAN, (2 Kings. 5:14). When Naaman came seeking healing for his body, Elisha sent him to
immersed himself seven times in the Jordan River, and God healed him there, showing him that He is all-
powerful and acts in different ways (Mt. 10:8).
ii. THE WOMAN OF THE FLOW OF BLOOD, (Mr. 5:25-34). This woman had spent all her money seeking her
healing by all human means, but when she no longer had anything, the Lord Jesus Christ appeared and it was
He who healed her (Mt. 10:8; Luke 5:17, 18:27). This is an operation carried out in the time of the Son.
iii. THE LAME AT THE DOOR OF THE TEMPLE, (Acts. 3:3-8). This man was lame from birth, and they took him to
the beautiful door of the Temple to ask for alms. Peter, driven by the Holy Spirit, healed him in the name of
Jesus. This is an operation carried out in the time of the Holy Spirit.

b. RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD

i. THE SON OF THE SHUNAMITE WOMAN, (2 Kings. 4:32-35). God, through the prophet Elisha, revived the son of
the Shunammite and with this act, demonstrates that his power is unlimited, and that he has authority over
death.
ii. LAZARUS, (Jn. 11:41-44). Lazarus had been dead for several days, so his body was decomposing, but the power
of God the Father became evident, because the Lord Jesus Christ resurrected him (Jn. 11:25, 12:1). This gift
acted at the time of the Son Jesus Christ.
iii. EUTYCHUS, (Acts. 20:9-10). Eutychus was a young man who was listening to the message that Paul was
preaching, fell asleep, and fell from the third floor to his death. Paul, moved by the Spirit, stretched out on him
and raised him from the dead. This is the gift of the Father manifesting in the time of the Holy Spirit.

2. SIGNS. Signs is translated from the Greek semeion which means sign (Gen. 24:14) , mark (Gen. 4:15) , indication
(Gen.

3

31:44-52) and pledge (Gen. 38:17-18) (Strong 4592). Generally they are supernatural manifestations, with respect to
material things and the universe.

The purpose of the signs is to indicate the path to follow and as a consequence to know the end, for this we must
observe them to discern if they are true (Jn. 2:11, 4:43-49), because there are imitations on the part of the enemy (Deut.
13:1; 2 Thes. 2:1-9).

There are three periods in our Christian walk, in which signs are manifested, but with different purposes, for example:
signs in Egypt (world), signs in the desert (trial) and signs in Canaan (life in abundance).

a. SIGNS IN EGYPT. In the literal sense, God showed his power through the plagues with the purpose that Pharaoh
would let Israel go out to celebrate a party in the desert (Ps 105). This represents that when we were not Christians
the signs were intended to protect us and show us that we should go to Canaan, covered with the blood of the
Lamb.

b. SIGNS IN THE DESERT. The desert is a period of testing for the children of God, where character is formed, it can
mature or remain prostrate and never reach the goal. These signals must be understood, discovered and
remembered.
i. PILLAR OF FIRE AND CLOUD (Ex. 13:21). These elements represent God's protection.

ii. THE RED SEA PARTS (Ex. 14:21-24). Figure of baptism in water.

iii. SWEETENED BITTER WATERS (Ex. 15:23-25). Signs of love and peace for our lives.

iv. MANNA AND FLESH (Num. 11:31-33; Ex. 16:14). Sign of God's material provision.

v. AARON'S ROD THAT SPEARS (Num. 17:1-11). It means God's guidance in our walk.

c. SIGNS IN CANAAN. In Canaan you enjoy life in abundance, the riches of God (Deut. 8:8-10), is a state of maturity,
struggle and intimacy with God.
i. THEY CROSS THE JORDAN RIVER (Jos. 3:14-17). This is a figure of the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

ii. THE MANNA CEASES (Josh. 5:12). The miraculous provision concludes and work and solid food begins (1 Cor. 3:1-
2).

3. PRODIGES. Wonders is translated from the Greek teras which means a prodigy, omen and miracle that can be
performed by anyone (Strong 5059). This operation has the purpose of demonstrating the power of God and also
announcing events.
a. STOP THE RAIN (1 R. 17:1,18:1). God reveals again his sovereignty over natural laws (Mr. 4:41), in this case weather
laws, stopping the rain and letting it fall again through the word of Elijah (Job 37:6).

b. STOP THE SUN (Jos. 10:12-13). This is one of the greatest wonders found in the Bible, because it totally affected the
activity of planet Earth. Joshua commanded the sun to stand still, and God did so, supporting the action Joshua was
taking at that moment. (Job 38:33; Jer. 31:35; 33:25).

c. WONDERS IN HEAVEN AND SIGNS ON EARTH (Acts. 2:19-21). The Lord Jesus promised his disciples that in the end
time he would pour out his Spirit on all his people, and taught that before his return for his beloved, there would be
signs on earth and wonders in heaven, which would indicate that the time was near ( Mt. 24:29-30; 2 P. 3:10).

l The era of the Father was included in the Old Testament, and He worked manifestations in His servants (1 Cor. 12:6),
through which he showed his power; These operations acted with different purposes, such as expressing his support for
his servants, protection and material provision for his people, his power over nature and death, and also to show mercy
towards those who approached him, recognizing their need.

02 THE GIFTS OF THE SON I (APOSTLES AND

PROPHETS)
“Now, there are diversity of gifts; but the Spirit is the same. There are also diversity of ministries, but the Lord is
Module II the same. There is also a diversity of operations, but the same God is the one who performs all things in
Basic everyone.” (1 Cor. 12:4-6) “Therefore he says: He ascended on high, took captivity captive, and gave gifts to
Doctrine men. And he himself said: some apostles; others, prophets; others, evangelists; and other pastors and teachers.”
(Eph. 4: 8; 11)

AND
The apostle Paul expresses to the Church of Corinth that he does not want them to be ignorant about
spiritual gifts, and when teaching them he makes three classifications: diversity of gifts, which are
given by the Holy Spirit; diversity of ministries, which are given by the Son and diversity of operations,
given by the Father. This study addresses ministries, that is, the gifts given by Christ to his Church, for the perfection of his
Body.

l
The word gifts is translated from Greek Dóma which means gift, gift (Strong 1390). The word Dóma comes from the base
Dídomi which means to give, grant, trust, constitute, leave (place), cast (lots), deliver, infuse, offer, allow, put, present,
procure, produce, distribute, have (mercy) (Strong 1325).

The five ministries are gifts in human form that Jesus Christ has distributed to his Church, until it reaches the unity of faith
and knowledge of the Son of God, until it reaches the stature of the perfect man, to the measure of the fullness of Christ; to
equip the saints for the work of the ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ (Eph. 4:12), and not be tossing children,
tossed adrift and carried about by the winds of doctrine (Eph. 4:14).

The mission of the five ministries is to uproot, tear down, destroy and overthrow (Jer. 1:10) all works of darkness in our lives,
to then build and plant on the foundation that is Christ. These five ministries are: apostolic, prophetic, magisterial,
evangelistic and pastoral.

• APOSTOLIC MINISTRY.
The covering of the apostle is represented by the eagle's wings (Ex. 19:4, Deut. 32:11), possesses vision and stands on
the heights from which he brings revealed doctrine. It is an enemy of the snake, it places its nest on the rock and
teaches its eaglets to fly.

> SIGNS OF AN APOSTLE. The signs by which an APOSTLE can be recognized are:
♦ They found churches (Acts. 8: 14). ♦ They have mighty works (2 Cor. 12:12, Acts. 2:
♦ They have revelation of doctrine and mysteries 43; 5: 12).

❖ PROPHETIC MINISTRY.
The covering of a prophet is represented by chicken wings (Mt. 23:37-39, Lk. 13: 34), since one of its functions is to
gather the church. In the Bible it is stated that without vision, the people perish (Prov. 29: 18) The gifts of the Holy Spirit
of: Inspiration and Revelation are primarily manifested to the prophet.

♦ They have authority to forgive (Mt. 9: 5-8).

♦ They receive revelation of mysteries just like the apostles ♦ They prophesy judgments from God
(Eph. 3: 5). (Rev. 11: 6).
♦ They predict future events (Acts. 11: 2728).
♦ They exhort and console the church (Acts. 15: 32).
♦ God tells them what he is going to do before carrying it out (Rev. 10: 7).

AND At this time, God is showing his people the benefit of the gifts of the Son, gifts in the form of men
that He has raised up with authority for the building up of the body of Christ, to the apostle he gives
the authority to lead and puts a word of justice in his mouth, to the prophet he gives the word of
knowledge and wisdom. The apostle Peter exhorts that the Church take shelter under the powerful hand of God, since he
establishes the pentagon of protection for the children of God, a figure of being covered with double garments (Prov. 31:21).

03 THE GIFTS OF THE SON II

(TEACHERS, PASTORS AND EVANGELISTS)
Module II
Basic “Therefore he says: Going up on high, he took captivity captive, he gave gifts to men. And he himself said: some
Doctrine apostles; others, prophets; others, evangelists; and other pastors and teachers.” Ephesians. 4: 8; 11

AND The apostle Paul expresses to the Church of Corinth that he does not want them to be ignorant
about spiritual gifts, and when teaching them he makes three classifications: diversity of gifts, which
are given by the Holy Spirit; diversity of ministries, which are given by the Son and diversity of
operations, given by the Father. This study addresses ministries, that is, the gifts given by Christ to his Church, for the
perfection of his Body.

J. Jesus Christ was the only one who developed the five ministries during his life on earth, and when he left, he
endowed the church with them, through the Holy Spirit, because she would do greater works than those He did (Jn.
14:12), therefore, just as Jesus evangelized, shepherded and taught the people of Israel, God also raises up men to
carry out this task. In this study we will see the following 3 ministries:

• MAGISTERIAL MINISTRY.

The covering of a Teacher is typified in the wings of the falcon (NKJV Job 39:26) which was a bird that carried messages
on its legs. The teacher brings understanding to the people because “the people without understanding perish and can
be taken captive (Hos. 4:14). The gifts of Revelation are primarily manifested to the Master and they have illumination
of the Word (Eph. 1:16-18).

❖ PASTORAL MINISTRY. 4:3).

The covering of a shepherd is typified by the wings of a stork (Job 39:13), whose name means pious, loyal, and loving-
kind, which describes the character of a shepherd. When it doesn't have food it pecks its breast and gives its blood to
its chicks.

l The five ministries will be in force until we all reach the stature of the Perfect Man and the measure of the fullness of
Christ. Together they constitute the mighty hand of God, under which we must humble ourselves to be exalted in due
time (1 Pet. 5:6). Let us remember that when we see God's hand clenched in a fist (even if it is small) as the prophet Elijah
saw, it is a sign that abundant rain is coming from God.

04 THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT I (GIFTS

OF INSPIRATION)
Module II “For to one is given the word of wisdom by the Spirit; to another, a word of knowledge according to the same
Basic Spirit; to another, faith by the same Spirit; to another, gifts of healing by the one Spirit; to another, power of
Doctrine miracles; to another, prophecy; to another, discernment of spirits; to another, various kinds of languages, and

c
to another, interpretation of languages.” (1 Cor. 12: 8-10)

When we are baptized with the Holy Spirit, we receive the benefit of the gifts of the Spirit (1 Cor 12:4). The Holy Spirit
dwelling in us and with us does a work of edification in our lives through different means. On the day of Pentecost,
when the 120 were gathered in the upper room, they received this wonderful gift (Acts. 2:1-4), which was manifested
through tongues “like fire”, a promise made by Jesus to his disciples when he said that through this baptism they would
receive power (Gk. Dunamis) “force from above”, not only physical but spiritual.

Ebenezer Ministries School of Doctrine

9

AND This is just one of the gifts (undeserved gifts) that we receive from God, through the Holy Spirit, and
are given to the Church for its growth and edification, with the objective of becoming mature
children (huíos). (Eph. 4:12-13; to 1 Co. 12:4; Heh. 5:14; 1 Co. 14:20; 1 P. 4:10). According to 1 Cor
12:8-10, the gifts of the Spirit are nine (9), which to study them, are divided into three groups: revelation, inspiration and
power.

l The word “gift” comes from the Greek word, Charisma , which, in its most general meaning means gift, but also
indicates a favor that is received without having merit for it (Strong 5486), that is, a gift of divine grace, These are
supernaturalities that confirm the Word.

The word charisma is related to the Greek word Charis , which means grace or favor (Strong 5485). This grace allows the gifts
to be activated with joy, with gratitude for the goodness and mercy that God has shown towards human beings and that
strengthens the Christian faith. The gifts of the Holy Spirit must be longed for by the church, since with them the one who will
be the wife of the Lamb will be adorned. We will now look at the gifts of inspiration (1 Cor 12:10).

In this group are the gifts of Various kinds of tongues, Interpretation of Tongues and Prophecy. Inspiration means: that “
effect of feeling a singular and effective illumination of God to the understanding that makes it say something
spontaneously and effortlessly ” (Encarta Dictionary), but it is also derived from the Greek root fero which means to carry, to
bring ( Strong's 5342) . This verb is used of people who act by the power of the Holy Spirit, not acting in accordance with
their own wills, nor expressing their thoughts, but following the mind of God in words given and ministered by Him (Vine
Dictionary).

* VARIOUS GENRES OF LANGUAGES. The word gender derives from the Greek word genos , which has meanings such
as: families, types, lineages or classes (in a racial aspect) (Strong 1085), and the word “tongue” derives from the
Greek glossa , which indicates language or tongue (Strong 1100), which indicates that this gift moves in those
brothers, baptized with the Holy Spirit, who are used by Him as vessels for the purpose of giving a message from
God for the edification of the Church, through different means. types of languages or languages. This gift must be
differentiated from speaking in tongues as a sign of baptism with the Spirit in the Church. Characteristics of these
genres of languages:

V They can be human, as well as from other spheres, including angelic.

V They are a gift or gifts for the bride; just as Eleazar gives gifts to Rebekah, (Ge. 24:10; 22; 53 ), where Eleazar
is a figure of the Holy Spirit who brings decorations to the one who is to marry the Son (Isaac). Also like the
woman described in Ezekiel (Ez. 16: 9-13), who before being adorned was anointed (baptism with the Holy
Spirit).
V It will manifest itself at the will of the Holy Spirit, while the proper languages are spoken at the will of the
individual.

V They need to be interpreted to fulfill their purpose: Edify.

This gift can manifest itself in the midst of the congregation and/or also under the impact of a special and specific anointing
at the time of the manifestation of the gifts.

❖ GIFT OF INTERPRETATION OF LANGUAGES. (1 Cor. 12:10) The word interpretation is derived from the Greek hermenia
and
hermeneuo which means to explain, interpret, explain the meaning of words in a different language (Strong 2058 and
2059), this tells us that whoever has this gift can explain the meaning of a given message in tongues, to the language
that we speak, to that the message of God is understandable throughout the congregation. Most of the time, the
person who has the gift of various types of languages also has the gift of interpretation of languages.

❖ GIFT OF PROPHECY. (1 Cor. 12:10) The word “prophecy” comes from the Greek word propheteia which means prophecy,
a divinely inspired speech to rebuke something evil, to comfort in affliction, to reveal hidden things, or to predict the
future (Strong 4394). The gift of prophecy allows congregations to receive edification (2 Tim. 2:20) or to reprove
something that is being done incorrectly or to comfort those who are undergoing tests. It cleanses us by revealing
hidden things and gives us hope about our future. This gift must be practiced within the following parameters:

Ebenezer Ministries School of Doctrine

1
0
V Exercise according to the measure of faith (Rom. 12:6). God can use us at any time, so we must be willing to
let ourselves be used by the Holy Spirit to communicate the message that God wants for his people.
V It should be for edification, exhortation and consolation (1 Cor. 14:3). The gift should not be used to frighten
people or congregations, but rather for their edification.
V It must have a biblical parameter (2 Pet. 1:19-21). Prophecy must not issue concepts that contradict what is
written in The Word and must be supported by itself.
V It must be in turns (1 Cor. 14:27-29). God speaks of a time and order for prophesying, indicating that the
vessels may at some point hold the prophecy until they are given their turn to prophesy, since “ the spirit of
the prophet is subject to the prophet” (1 Cor. . 14:32).
V They will have an end (1 Cor. 13:8). The glorious moment will come when we all return to God from whence
we came and then there will be no more need for prophecies.
V Do not despise them (1 Thes. 5:20). We should not judge the vessel in which God has deposited his prophecy,
but rather the prophecy itself that is being given by that vessel.

l he gifts of the Holy Spirit are an undeserved gift from God, which is why we must appreciate them and above all long for
them, since they serve to build up the Church and reach maturity. The Apostle Paul exhorts us to ardently desire the best
gifts.

05 THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT II (GIFTS

OF REVELATION)
Module II “For to one is given the word of wisdom by the Spirit; to another, a word of knowledge according to the same
Basic Spirit; to another, faith by the same Spirit; to another, gifts of healing by the one Spirit; to another, power of
Doctrine miracles; to another, prophecy; to another, discernment of spirits; to another, various kinds of languages, and to

c
another, interpretation of languages.” (1 Cor. 12: 8-10)

When we are baptized with the Holy Spirit, we receive the benefit of the gifts of the Spirit (1 Cor. 12:4). The only one
who does a work of edification in our lives is The Holy Spirit dwelling in us and with us. This wonderful gift (Acts. 2:1-
4), was received on the day of Pentecost, a promise made by Jesus to his disciples. The gifts are given to the Church
for its growth and edification (Eph. 4:12-13; Q. 4:10).

l he gifts of the Holy Spirit must be longed for by the church, since with them the one who will be the wife of the Lamb
will be adorned. According to 1 Corinthians 12:8-10, the gifts of the Spirit are nine (9), which to study them are divided
into three groups: inspiration, revelation and power, now we will study the gifts of revelation (1 Cor. 12:8).

In this group are the gifts of: Word of Wisdom, Word of Knowledge and Discernment of spirits. The word “revelation” comes
from the Greek apokalupsis , which means unveiling, the communication of the knowledge of God (Eph. 1:17), an
expression of God for the instruction of the Church (1 Cor. 14:6,26) (Strong 602). It is also related to the Greek word
apokalupto which means thoughts previously hidden in the heart (Lk. 2:35), referring to the past or the future (Strong 601)
From these definitions it is inferred that they are called gifts of “revelation”, because through them and in a supernatural
way, an event that will occur in the future or some past fact that is discovered, a hidden truth.

❖ GIFT OF THE WORD OF WISDOM.

“Word” comes from the Greek word logos , which means expression of thought (Strong 3056), and “wisdom” from
the Greek sophia , which means the depth of intelligence, knowledge of various human and divine matters or things,
acquired by observation and experience. (Strong 4678), indicating that the gift of the Word of Wisdom is the
expression of the thought of the deepest intelligence, inspired by God.

This is a word that is given by the wisdom of God and that the Holy Spirit gives us as a gift and that applies both
spiritually and secularly. For example

Wisdom to preach (1 Cor. 1:17-27) The apostle Paul did not preach a gospel according to wisdom of words or language
(1 Cor. 1:17 BNC), as would have been done by professional speakers, who have the ability to persuade crowds with
selected arguments. On the contrary, Paul preached according to the wisdom of God given by the Holy Spirit and as a
consequence he could move, motivate, make people reconsider, advise, and lead people towards repentance.

It is for this reason that they once gave it the name of the Greek god Hermes, who according to them was the father of
rhetoric (Acts 14:12 KJV). This wisdom also helps us understand God's revelation (Rev. 13:18) and it is a wisdom to
make peace with our fellow men, to be merciful, kind, impartial, to be fruitful and without hypocrisy (James. 3:17).

❖ GIFT OF THE WORD OF SCIENCE OR KNOWLEDGE.

“Science” is derived from the Greek gnosis which means search, investigation, knowledge of spiritual truth (Strong
1108), and is related to ginosko which means to be taking in knowledge, to understand completely with precision
(Strong 1097), this indicates a relationship between the person who knows and the object known. People who possess
this gift obtain knowledge of the word of God through revelation (1 Cor.1:5). They have the ability to warn so that
something is avoided, they have the power to advise, and warn (Rom. 15:14) They obtain knowledge of God and his

word that guides them to obtain full knowledge (Rom.11:33,15:14).

❖ GIFT OF DISCERNMENT OF SPIRITS.

Discern comes from the Greek word diakrisis which means distinction, clear discrimination, discernment and
judgment (Strong 1253), but also “discern” means to distinguish or know between one thing and another by a special
act of the senses or intelligence (Dictionary Encarta), on the other hand, “spirit” comes from the Greek pneuma , which
means the spirit that is invisible, immaterial and powerful (Strong 4151), this tells us that the believer to whom this
gift is manifested can clearly distinguish where something comes from. that is invisible, immaterial and powerful,
whether it is from God or the enemy, something that other people do not distinguish, it can be a spirit or a specific
spiritual environment, that is why this gift guides us towards the order of God (1 Cor. . 14:29-33) in the midst of the
movement of the Holy Spirit and the other ministering spirits (Isa. 11). This gift helps us:

> SEE BEYOND WHAT MANY SEE (Mr. 9:25). In the case of the man possessed by a spirit, whom Jesus healed,
discerning the spirit that had tormented him, he rebuked it and immediately the spirit fled.

> DISTINGUISH (Lc. 4:38-39). When Jesus heals Peter's mother-in-law, He takes authority over the fever, rebukes her,
and she had to leave the woman's body. This is a very important characteristic of the gift of discernment of spirits,
since when discerning the spirit (good or bad), it will be necessary to take authority, if necessary, over this spirit and
dislodge it directly.

> SEE THE INTENTIONS OF THE HEART (Acts. 16:16). When Paul and Timothy were preaching in the city of Philippi, a
slave woman who had a spirit of divination shouted to them that they were servants of the Most High God. Paul had
the gift of discerning that, although it was a truth, it came from an evil source. and perverse, that what he wanted
was to distract the minister's attention, so he energetically turned against the unclean spirit (not against the girl) and
rebuked him, ordering him to be silent.

The gift of Discernment of Spirits can be activated when ministering to a person; when a liberation is practiced, it serves to
know which spirit or demon is the one that has taken place in a body and to dislodge it through the guidance that God gives
through his Holy Spirit and in the worship of God at the time of ministering the gifts.

l The Word of Wisdom declares a future fact that affects the Church, the Word of Knowledge declares a past or present fact
and the Discernment of spirits allows us to know which spirit is manifesting. The gifts of the Holy Spirit are an undeserved
gift from God, which is why we must appreciate them and above all long for them, since they serve to build the Church to
reach maturity. The same apostle Paul exhorts us to ardently desire the best gifts, without losing sight of the fact that these
are manifested for our benefit and that it is the Holy Spirit who is in charge of distributing them as He wants.

06 THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT III

(GIFTS OF POWER)
“For to one is given the word of wisdom by the Spirit; to another, a word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; to
Module II another, faith by the same Spirit; to another, gifts of healing by the one Spirit; to another, power of
Doctrine miracles; to another, prophecy; to another, discernment of spirits; to another, various kinds of languages,
Basic and to another, interpretation of languages.”
1 Corinthians 12:8-10

TO Yes, as in the times of Moses, God gave blessings to his people in Canaan, now in our times God continues to
offer us a land of blessing that is literal and spiritual, but like the earthly Canaan today God sends his Holy Spirit
so that he distributes gifts (gifts) among his conforming Church.

l The Greek word used to translate gift is Charisma , which means gift, but also indicates a favor received without merit
(Strong), a gift involving grace from God as the giver through the operations of the Spirit. Saint in the Church.

These gifts are given by God through his Holy Spirit and are not for private or personal use. They are manifested by the
operation of the Holy Spirit and the anointing that God sends down at a certain time.

According to 1 Cor. 12:8-10 the gifts of the Spirit are divided into three groups: revelation, inspiration and power, now in this
study we will see the gifts of power.

The word “power” is translated from the Greek dunamis , which means the ability to accomplish anything (Strong 1411),
and the only one who can accomplish powerful things is God, (Lk. 1:37) They are called “power” because they are related to
supernatural aspects that are evident to all people. In this group are the gifts of Faith, Healing and Miracles.

1. GIFT OF FAITH (1 Cor. 12:9).

Faith is derived from the Greek pistis which means firm persuasion, conviction based on what has been heard (Strong
4102), this indicates that this type of gift produces in the believer a firm conviction, and a full recognition of the truth of
God (1 Tim. 2:4; 2 Thess. 2:11-12).

It leads to a personal surrender to Him (Jn. 1:12) and to have conduct inspired by this surrender (2 Cor. 5:7) (Vine
Dictionary), for that reason it is that in the book of Hebrews it is said that faith is the certainty of things hoped for, the
conviction of things not seen (Heb. 11:1).

Faith has various facets, but also as a gift it has different functions:

> Work for healing and salvation (Matt. 10:1).

> Bring repentance, as in the case of Peter when Jesus tells him that he has been asked to be shaken, but that He
Himself has prayed to the Father so that his faith does not fail (Lk. 22:31-32; 22:62). .
.
2. GIFT OF HEALINGS (1 Cor. 12:9).

Healing comes from the Greek word iama meaning a healing (the result of the act) (Strong 2386), indicating that the
result of this gift is healing, a wonderful manifestation for the blessing of the Church.

The anointing to heal is a portion of the power of God that together with the gift enables us to carry out healing, it is
like a part of the power of God using us as an instrument in his hands to glorify the Name of God. The characteristics of
this gift are:

> IT CAN BE APPLIED TO EVERYONE.

One day Jesus Christ is teaching and the Bible mentions that with Him was the gift of healing (Lk. 5:17), with this we see
that Jesus acted according to the anointing that was moving at a certain time, which leads us to think that when God
sends his anointing for healing many will be healed, so we must be aware of that moment.

> IT COMES FROM THE HOLY SPIRIT.

The gift is not inherent to the person, when Jesus healed it was because power came from Him (Lk. 6:17-19). Although
Christ was invested with power from above, He did not act of Himself, but moved within the will of the Father.

> BE CERTAIN THAT GOD WILL HEAL.

The apostle Paul (Acts. 14:8) was used by the Holy Spirit to effect an amazing healing on a man who was lame from birth,
for which reason he was mistaken for a god. When God uses one person to bring healing to another, He is assured that
they will be healed.

3. GIFT OF MIRACLES (1 Cor. 12:10).

The term “miracle” in this verse is translated from the Greek word dunamis which means power, inherent ability. It is
used of works of supernatural origin and character, which could not be produced by natural agents and means (Strong
1411).

The Christian who has the gift of miracles has the ability to do supernatural works through the power of the Holy Spirit.
The miracles that God does through his vessels are performed for specific purposes, which can be:

> Show the power of God (Ex. 9:22-35; Jn. 9:1-3).

> Define the people who doubt (1 Kings. 18:36-40).

> Confirm the faith of the disciples (Jn. 20:30-31).

> Confirm the Word that has been preached by ministers, so that our confidence is not in the wisdom of men but in
the power of God (1 Cor. 2:4-5). Regarding this, it is very important to note the order that God himself has
established: First the Word and then the miracles.

Throughout the ministry of Our Lord Jesus Christ on earth we can notice many miracles that He performed, which
confirmed the Word that He taught and also confirmed Him as the Son of God, however we can also notice that in some
cases He could not perform many miracles because of the people's unbelief (Mark 6:5 6), which means that the
operation of miracles can be a consequence of the faith that we have.

AND The gift of Faith is manifested to do the work of the Lord, that of Healing operates physical health on
men at the moment of anointing and that of Miracles is manifested at a specific moment and is
against natural law. The gifts of the Holy Spirit are an undeserved gift from God, which is why we
must appreciate them and above all long for them, since they serve for the edification of the Church.

l The gifts are gifts from God to believers to exercise a specific function within the body of Christ. We are all members of the
same body, but each one must exercise a particular function as the Holy Spirit designates. Regularly our attention is
focused on the most visible gifts, but there are others no less important with specific qualities and characteristics.

The Bible teaches us that we must abound in gifts (1 Cor.14:12), which are distributed by the grace of God and not by human
merits, we must long for them by continually seeking the Lord (1 Cor.12:31), putting ourselves at his disposal (Is.8:8) so that
by his gift deposited in us, we may edify each other.

AND In the first epistle of the apostle Paul to the Corinthians, there is a list of gifts given by the Holy Spirit,
called “Spiritual gifts” because their activity or manifestation is in spiritual activities (1 Cor.12:7-
10,11 NASB); In the Epistle to the Romans chapter 12, we read another list of gifts that are also given
by the Holy Spirit, but they are called “gifts of help,” because their activity or manifestation is in practical activities
(Rom.12:6-8 NASB). ), let's look at them:

1. THE GIFT OF SERVE: Serve is a word that comes from the Greek word diakonia which means: assist, carry out an
assignment, help, lighten , (Strong G1248). This gift is characterized by
ease, disposition, usefulness and excellence to carry out the work of God, in the service of tables and saints (2 Tim.
4:11; 1 Co. 16:15).

Those who possess this gift serve as a relief in the various tasks of God's work and soften the work of the minister.
We can all participate in this gift, even the elderly brothers, since the Bible gives us an example of an eighty-four-
year-old widow who served day and night with fasting and prayers.

2. THE GIFT OF TEACHING : The word “Teaching” is translated from the Greek word Didaskalia , which means
instruction, doctrine, knowledge. teach, give instruction didactically , (Strong G1321),

The function of this gift is to teach: to correctly explain and transmit the sound doctrine (Acts 15:35) of the Lord
Jesus Christ (Acts 28:31), with the purpose that the listeners are edified while understanding and learning the
received teaching, to put it into practice (Mt.13:23). Whoever possesses this gift, teaches through the Holy Spirit to
the spirit of the listeners, because otherwise it will only be a transfer of knowledge from mind to mind.

3. THE GIFT OF EXHORT: This word is translated from the Greek language parakaleo which means to call close to,
motivate, invite, supplicate (Strong G3870).

According to the meaning of the previous words, we understand that this gift is to encourage, call close and
comfort through the Word of God (Acts 15:33) those who are going through difficult situations, so that their hearts
are strengthened. to follow the Lord, in such a way that they understand that they are not alone, but that there are
people close to them willing to bless them. An example of this is Barnabas, who encouraged everyone to remain
faithful to the Lord with a firm heart; for it is said that he was a good man, and full of the Holy Spirit and faith,"
(Acts. 11:24)

4. THE GIFT OF GIVING: The word give comes from the Greek word Metadidomi , which means to give, share,
impart, communicate, deliver, distribute . (Strong G3330) The word liberality comes from the Greek word
Haplotes , which means simplicity, of a single aspect, sincerity (without dissimulation, without seeking only one's
own), generosity, abundantly , simplicity, fidelity . (Strong G572).

The purpose of this gift is to share with others who are in need of what God gives (Mark 14:7; Acts 3:6), both
spiritual and material (James 2:15-16), doing so: With simplicity of heart, without expecting anything in return, nor
committing the person who received the favor to return it (Dt.15:8-9), nor with the purpose of obtaining any
benefit. If possible, it should be shared abundantly and without meanness (Dt.15:10), since God taught us when he
gave what he loved most: his Only Begotten Son (Jn.3:16).

5. THE GIFT OF LEADING: The word Lead comes from the Greek term Proístemi and means to be ahead, to govern,
to preside. (Strong G4291). The word Diligence is translated from Greek SPOUDES , And means
haste, promptly, solicitude, care, aggressiveness, careful fervor . (Strong G4710).

This gift has the grace and ability from God to help administer the Church, carefully without harming the sheep (1P.
5:3), and with excellence to be presented approved before the Lord (2 Tim. 2:15) as faithful stewards.

6. GIFT OF SHOWING MERCY: The word Mercy comes from the Greek Eleeo which means to have mercy, to show
mercy, to have compassion, to have mercy . (Strong G1653). Through this gift, the bowels of mercy are obtained
(Lk. 10:29-37) to weep with those who weep (Rom. 12:15) and love to comfort the rejected (Acts. 9:26-27). He who
flows in this gift does not speak evil of the one who has fallen since he knows the Father of mercies (2 Cor.1:3)
since he himself received mercy first (1 Tim. 1:13; Tit. 3:5).

d God supplies with his Holy Spirit, through the diversity of gifts, all the needs of his people, so we should feel very
grateful to be used by God in any of the areas of service which will bring blessing to his church.

08 THE LAW OF THE MEMBERS

Module II “But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my spirit, and bringing me into captivity to
Basic the law of sin that is in my members.” (Rom. 7:23) “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made
Doctrine me
freed from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8:2

AND In each era God has left laws to govern his people, for example: the law given to Moses on Sinai (Ex.
24:12; Lc. 24:44), that of the Son (Gal. 6:1-2), that of the Spirit (Rom. 8:2), of freedom (James. 1:25;
2:12), etc.; However, the enemy establishes laws to govern the world and those who dwell in it, with
the purpose of enslaving them to sin and leading them to death.

AND In the Epistle to the Romans we read how the apostle Paul describes the war that is waged internally
in the life of the Christian, between the law of the mind, where the law of God has begun to be
written, and the law of the members, which takes captive the law of sin (Rom. 7:23). It is the law of
the members that sometimes makes the Christian act in an involuntary way, so it is necessary that all law that is not of God
be replaced in our integral being.

Thus, the above describes to us that the law of the members consists of the use of the members of the body, according to
the desire of the flesh, which is exercised in such a way that it becomes a custom and/or a rule. of action, so that a person
can do things that he does not want to do, and stop doing other things that he does want to do (Rom. 7:15-17).

Law, this word has different meanings, among them we can mention; The precept or rule to command or prohibit
something. This law aims at different actions, including 1. Serve as a model and 2. Forcing someone to do what another
wants. There are fair and unjust laws that have affected our lives, let's see:
A. LAWS IN THE KINGDOM OF LIGHT (Col. 1:13) When God rescued us, he transferred us to the kingdom of his son Jesus
Christ and a change of laws occurred by which we must be governed (Heb. 7:12)

B. LAWS IN THE KINGDOM OF DARKNESS (Jn. 14:30) The Bible teaches us that while we were separated from God, we
lived ruled by the prince of this world, therefore we lived subject to his laws; so that some were written on the body
(eyes, tongue, hands, heart and feet) ( see Prov. 6:16-19 compare with Jas. 3:6 and Mt. 6:22 23) and/or soul, leading us
towards sin and making us slaves to it. Let's see how the war is established between the laws of God and those that do
not come from Him:
• The law of the mind (Ro 7:23) When the Lord allows us to experience repentance, in the new birth, he makes a
change in our being and begins to write his law in our mind and heart (Heb. 8:10), so we can now differentiate
between good and bad. It is for this reason that the law of the members finds opposition in our being.

• The law of sin (Rom. 7:23) The purpose of the struggle of the law of the members against the law of the mind is to
take us captive to the law of sin. The goal is that sin (Rom. 7:9) remains in our lives and we are slaves (Rom. 6:12)
to cause death in us (Rom. 5:21; 6:6) and enmity with God.

• The law of the members (Rom. 7:23) This law was written on our being, specifically on our body, as a consequence
of the practice of sin. When we were in the kingdom of darkness this law influenced our lives, leading us to sin
without any opposition; but when we reach the feet of the Lord and consecrate ourselves, our being enters into
conflict. Let's look at some examples of members' law:
a. In the eyes (Mt. 5:29) Having filled your eyes with “unpleasant” scenes such as pornography; It caused slavery
laws to be written in them towards this sin, so now there is a fight; That is why we read in (2 Pet 2:14) that
there are people who have their eyes full of adultery and insatiable for sin. A character that illustrates this case
is Job, of whom the Lord himself said that he was a perfect man, upright, fearful, and separated from evil (Job
1:8), however later Job made a pact with his eyes not to see maiden (Job 31:1).

b. In the hands (Mt. 5:30) Biblically, the hands represent the works, therefore, the law in the hands means the
practice of dead works, displeasing to God, such as: stealing, hitting, masturbating, etc. Let's look at some
examples:
V Violence (Gen 4:11) There are people who have this law in their members, which is why they are aggressive
and sometimes uncontrollable, which is why they savagely beat other people, including their wife and
children (Pr 6:17).
• Theft (Eph. 4:28) There are people who have become accustomed to stealing, taking other people's
belongings. There is also what is known in Psychology as kleptomania, which is taking various objects
without being aware of it.

c. In the feet (Mt. 18:8) The foot or feet in the Bible represent the Christian's walk, which is contaminated and
must be clean. Let's look at some examples of the laws that can exist in the feet:
• The feet that run to evil, and rush to shed innocent blood, these are people who take pleasure in harming
their fellow men. (Pr. 1:16, Isa. 59:7).
• The feet that can't be at home ; (Pr. 7:11), there are people who before converting to the Lord were
unfaithful to their spouse, which caused laws of adultery to be written on their body, and then upon
converting to the Lord, some are strongly inclined again towards that sin and are inclined to abandon their
home.

d. Sexually (Judge. 16:1) Another example of the law in the sexual members is found in Samson, who was
enslaved to sexually associate with harlots, who caused the Philistines to put out his eyes, with which he also
delighted in seeing the forbidden, for which they took him captive and in the end he lost his sight and his life.

e. In the tongue (Stg. 1:26) Another consequence of the law of the members in the tongue is that there are
Christians who cannot stop being gossips, scorners, murmurers, cursers , etc.
• Lie (Ps. 144:8;11; Eph. 4:25) This law exists in people who, without knowing the Lord, had lying and deception
as a way of life, which they used to pretend to be something they were not or invent something they did
not have or to not recognize errors, causing them to now have the same problem.

Solution: To battle against this law that wants to lead us to sin and as a consequence to death, we must know the truth that
frees us through the following:
• Fullness of the Holy Spirit, to walk in the Law of the Spirit (Rom. 8:2) When we were dead in trespasses and sins,
the enemy wrote on our members, but the Lord has established that it is through the law of the Spirit. That the law
of the members will be repealed.

This will be carried out in a constant process of cleanliness that we must live, so as not to be slaves to sin. The law of
the Spirit begins to be established in our lives as we are filled with the Holy Spirit (Gal. 5:2223).

• The blood of Christ , when sprinkled, cleanses and forgives the sin committed because of the law of the members,
but it may be that the law remains and therefore the sin remains, until said law is changed

The law of sin has already been changed, but it is necessary to notify each of our members, warning them that they
should no longer be subject to slavery, and that we must now present them as instruments for the service of justice.
(Rom. 6:13).

AND In the Epistle to the Romans we read how the Apostle Paul describes the internal struggle that he constantly
had against the law of the members; However, he fought not to be defeated by her, but to please the Lord.

09 THE MINISTRY OF THE SOUL

Ebenezer Ministries School of Doctrine

Module II
"Therefore, beloved, having these promises, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit,
Basic
perfecting holiness in the fear of God" LBA 2 Corinthians 7:1
Doctrine

lMen are tripartite beings made up of spirit, soul and body (1 Thes. 5:23). Now that we are saved from sin, we must
cleanse our souls from the influence of sin and the evil way of living that we inherited from our parents. Only in this way
will we enjoy abundant life and have peace (1 Pet. 1:18; Mr. 10:30)

Minister is a word that is translated from the Greek word Diakoneo and means to assist, to serve one, to help, to help, to
serve, to minister .

TO lma is translated from the Greek language Psuche and means; being, person, life, soul, heart . The condition
of our soul is reflected with the example of Lazarus, who was called from the tomb so that he might have life,
but when he came out he had ties on his hands and feet, and he also had a shroud on his face that prevented
him from seeing ( Jn 11:43-44).The Lord ordered the disciples to untie him.

They gave us new life, but like Lazarus we still have ties that prevent us from walking freely. Then comes Christ's order for the
ministers to untie us, they were appointed to help us be free through ministration.

THE PROCESS OF MINISTRATION (Jn. 13:8-10)

The ministration of the soul is to help it so that it may be restored and prosper (3 Jn. 1:2). We obtain the first ministration to
the soul when we are baptized in water, because the old man is reduced to impotence, we die to our former life and are
resurrected to newness of life (Rom. 6:1-6).

When Jesus washed the disciples' feet, he told them that the one who was bathed (Gk. Louo Bathing the whole person) did
not need more than washing the feet (Gr. Nipto , especially washing feet, hands and face) teaching us that after being
baptized we have to follow a cleaning process for the contaminations we acquire in our walk. Let's look at some aspects of
ministry:

COUNSELING (Pr. 19:20)

The dictionary defines advice as an opinion or judgment given or received to resolve a matter. It is important to remember
that when a person asks for advice they listen to different angles of what they are thinking about doing, but they are not
necessarily obligated to put into practice what they are advised. The person must use that advice (which is generally based
on the word of God) to make the best decision so that it has a positive impact on their life.

The counselor must be a person who has been taught and delegated to do so. A mature Christian advises based on the word
of God, because he knows that bad advice can have serious consequences in the life of those who receive it. Therefore,
whoever asks for advice must look for people recognized as suitable for that purpose. Let's look at another aspect:

OBTAIN DELIVERANCE FROM DEMONS (Mr. 7:26-29)

Demons can influence a Christian when he has been given rights. A spiritual entity from the side of darkness hinders the
Christian, tempting him, deceiving him, accusing him, condemning him, oppressing him, depressing him, destroying him,
stealing his peace, etc. , with the purpose of damaging his relationship with God and preventing him from enjoying abundant
life (Jn. 10:10).

The bread of liberation is for the children, as children of God we have the right to be freed from ties that we could have in
our soul; The liberation process begins with water baptism. It is necessary to mention that no person should be ministered to
deliverance from demons if they do not want to be baptized.

RETRAIN THE SOUL

The soul responds according to the information it has stored, whether good or bad and that has been provided to it over
time. This information conditions our behavior, leading us to live, in most cases; depressed, sad, afraid, violent, etc., and for
this reason some believers take refuge in unhealthy habits, such as smoking, alcohol, drugs, illicit sex, pornography. Due to

0
our previous life, we still have attitudes that were formed in our soul and that make us react in the wrong way. But it is
necessary to know that God takes care of us, that is why we must seek help from a minister so that our soul is reprogrammed
and retrained.

Retraining is a process that we must carry out so that the image of Christ is formed in us and we are sculpted in the palm of
God's hand (Is. 49:16), an example of retraining is this; who had been trained to steal, must now use his hands to work and
for the blessing of others, etc. (Eph. 4:28). The Christian who is truly repentant must seek to do works worthy of repentance
(Jer 31:19-20; Mt 3:8)

NEED FOR MINISTRATION (3 Jn 1:2)

Our being could be affected with negative ministration, from when we were in our mother's womb until our current age.
During that period perhaps we suffered rejections, mistreatment, sexual abuse, preferences between siblings, etc., with
these damages we received fears, doubts, bitterness, desires for revenge, frustration, confusion and other things that made
our soul an area where the enemy It can manipulate us to destroy us and harm others.

Jesus first forgave the sins of a paralyzed man, then restored his body to health so that he could walk and take care of himself
(Matt. 9: 2-6). God first works on the soul of man and then takes care of the body. For this reason we must desire to be clean
of ties and healthy in our soul, to obtain comprehensive prosperity. Let's see what benefits are obtained through ministry:

Restoration of the soul (Ps 19:7) restore; It is to return, to refresh, to repair. We must prepare to win the internal battle
between the old and the new nature. We obtain victory as the soul evolves, through having a new programming, through the
process of ministry.

Prosperity in our soul (Pr 13:4) to prosper is to guide along a direct and easy path. To begin to have prosperity in the soul,
the first thing we must do is repent of our past life (Acts. 26:20) and forgive those who caused us harm (Mt. 6:15). He who is
sure that he received God's forgiveness can forgive himself and those who harmed him.

Consecration and sanctification (1 Thes. 5:23) When the Lord Jesus Christ comes for his church, he will come for a pure virgin
without spot or wrinkle (2 Cor. 11:2) the Beloved must be prepared for the encounter with her Lord and must reflect the
purity of her interior with her exterior appearance (Rev. 19:8), the process of ministry will allow the church to reach the
stature that God expects of it.

PARTICIPATING IN THE MINISTRATION

In the Old Testament, a house contaminated with leprosy was examined by a priest, who removed the unclean part and
replaced it with stones and new clay to decontaminate it (Lev. 14:34-44) Also, the person who had a shiny, white spot on
their skin had to go to the priest to determine if it could become leprosy (a figure of sin, Lev. 13:1-6)

We must look for delegated ministers to help us when we have problems in our integral being. Some Christians believe that
after being forgiven they no longer need anything else, but they forget that the Lord ordered a leper after healing him to
present himself to the priest to be declared clean (Mt. 8:1-4). The Bible says that we must lay aside every weight and sin that
so easily envelops us (Heb. 12:1)

FUNCTION OF THE MINISTER (Jn. 11:39-44)

Jesus asked the servants to remove the stone from Lazarus' tomb, following which he delegated them to remove the
obstacles that prevented him from walking. God always has servants prepared to free the people, for example, Moses freed
the people from the oppression of Pharaoh; Joshua was prepared by the Lord to lead the people towards Canaan (Josh. 1:2);
At this time, he has prepared ministers filled with the Holy Spirit who can care for the sheep who are weak, sick, broken, etc.

c When we feel clean we can confidently enter the house of the Lord and worship freely. Ministering is a process so that
at all times we are found with clean garments, enjoying freedom, restoration and abundant life.

10 THE FACETS OF BAPTISM I (Repentance, Water,

Holy Spirit and Fire)
Module II
Basic
Doctrine “There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one
baptism , one God and Father of all, who is over all, through all and in all” Ephesians (4:4-6)

l The Bible teaches us that there is only one baptism (Eph. 4:5) and also in Hebrews 6:2 he mentions the doctrine of
baptisms; This shows us that there is only one baptism but with different facets; Likewise, one of the meanings of baptism
is to immerse repeatedly, indicating that we will be baptized in various ways; and in every facet a work of regeneration
and cleansing is done in our lives until the image of Christ is formed in us (Rom. 8:29; 2 Co. 3:18).

l The word baptism is translated from the Greek baptizo , which means: to immerse repeatedly, to be immersed, to
purify by immersion or to immerse oneself, to be made clean with water and to immerse oneself ( Strong 907 ), this
tells us that baptism purifies through immersion in the water, as an act of obedience.

It is also derived from bapto which means: to wet or soak, to take the color of ( Strong 911 ), it was used to dye clothes, to
draw water by introducing a vessel into a larger one, etc. On the other hand, it is derived from baptist , which is the process
of immersion and immersion ( Strong 910 ). This exemplifies to us that to be baptized is to be put into something, to be
bathed in something and to be dyed with the color of Christ. In this study the facets of:

1. BAPTISM IN REPENTANCE, Mr. 1:4

Many people have the idea that repenting is being sad, lamenting and crying, but the Bible shows that this is not the case,
but rather that these feelings can be manifestations of repentance. The word repentance is derived from the Greek
metanoia which means change of mind and change of mind ( Strong 3341 ), indicating that to repent is to change our
mind, our way of thinking, it is when, through the ministration of the Holy Spirit, we understand that we have acted
wrongly. , we have sinned and that we are in need of God (Jn. 16:8). Some of its features are:

> IT HELP US RECOGNIZE OUR SINFUL CONDITION. (Mr. 1:4) It is the first baptism that all believers undergo when they
come to the Lord, because it shows us our sinful and lost condition, that being his enemies, he sent his son Jesus to
give himself as a Lamb for our sins (Lk. 3:3; 5:32; Acts. 13:24; 19:4; Mt. 3:11) This baptism is also for the Christian when
sin has reached him, since it is a constant process, the steps are:

a. REPENT (Acts 3:19, 26:20). When we come to the Lord there are things we must repent of, for example: acts of
impurity (2 Cor. 12:21), sexual immorality (2 Cor. 12:21; Ap. 9:21), debauchery (2 Cor. 12:21), evil works (Rev.
16:9-11), murders (Rev. 9:21), witchcraft (Rev. 9:21), theft (Rev. 9:21), etc.

b. BECOME. (Acts 3:19, 26:20). After repenting, conversion is necessary, changing attitudes , that is why when John
the Baptist saw that the Pharisees were baptized, he confronted them and indicated that they should produce
fruits worthy of repentance (Mt. 3:8).

> WITHOUT REPENTANCE THERE IS CONDEMNATION (Lk. 13:3,5). It is necessary to take into account that salvation is
not for everyone (2 Thes. 3:2) because without repentance, no matter how “good” the person is, eternal damnation
awaits them.

2. BAPTISM IN WATER, Mt. 28:19

It is completely immersed in water, total immersion, and constitutes one of the two ordinances given by the Lord Jesus. Some
benefits of water baptism are:

> FORGIVENESS OF SINS (Acts. 2:38). The Bible teaches that through repentance and water baptism, God forgives our

sins, that is, he purifies us, cleanses us. Forgiveness is translated from the Greek aphesis e and means to liberate, set
free, and release from the prison of sin ( Strong 859 ), indicating that in baptism there is freedom. “Freedom” is
translated from the Greek eleutheria , and means: to be free to live according to our pleasures ( Strong 1657 ),
implying that baptism frees us from living enslaved to sin, idolatry, sorcery, witchcraft, to obey Christ.

> BURIED AND RISEN WITH CHRIST (Rom. 6:2-4; Cabbage. 2:12). In Genesis 3:19 the Lord said to Adam: “ with the
In the sweat of your brow you will eat bread until you return to the earth, for from it you were taken. For from dust you
are and to dust you will return" , teaching us that God established that man must die to return to earth, but for the
Christian, God has left baptism, because in it we become one with the Lord in his death, fulfilling what Genesis 3:19
says, because the Lord replaced us in death.

a. BURIAL comes from the Greek word sunthapto which means to bury with or together ( Strong 4916 ); It is
used in a metaphorical sense, of the believer's identification with Christ in his grave (Vine Dictionary). When
we are immersed in the waters, we are buried into sin together with Jesus Christ.

b. WE ARE RISEN TO WALK IN NEWNESS OF LIFE, The word resurrect comes from the Greek word sunegeiro
which means: to raise together with ( Strong 4891 ) and is used of the spiritual resurrection of the believer
with Christ (Eph. 2:6). Just as the Lord Jesus Christ was resurrected, and His body was transformed, when we
are raised, we are resurrected together with Him to walk in newness of life.

> GOOD CONSCIENCE (1 P. 3:21). Before coming to the Lord, our conscience was contaminated and full of sin, in such a
way that he no longer reproached us when we sinned, but when we give our life to the Lord, we obtain a neutral
conscience and in baptism we obtain a good conscience.

> BECOME DISCIPLES (Mt. 28:19). The Lord Jesus Christ said that whoever believed in Him and was baptized would be
made his disciple, therefore, being baptized enables us to be disciples, and stop being believers.

> PARTICIPATE IN THE RESURRECTION (Rom. 6:5). In this passage, the word resurrection comes from the Greek word
anastasis which means a rising ( ana: up and jistemi: to stand) ( Strong 386 ), so everyone who is baptized will be
resurrected, plus those who heard of the baptism and Having the opportunity to be baptized, they did not do so, and
died without that condition, they will not be able to participate.

3. BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT, Mt. 3:11

It is the immersion within the Holy Spirit, becoming evident when speaking in other languages. Sometimes the baptism in the
Holy Spirit occurs after being baptized in water (Acts. 2:38), it can also be given together with or before water baptism (Acts.
10:47-48), since it is the Lord Jesus who gives it (Mt. 3:11). To receive it we must ask Jesus Christ with all our hearts and long
for it with all the strength of our soul. Upon obtaining this baptism we receive the following:

> GIFTS (1 Cor. 12:4; Acts. 10:45; Heh. 2:4; 1 Co. 12:4,7-11). The word gift comes from Charisma which means gift of
grace and gift involving grace from God as the giver ( Strong 5486 ), they are gifts given by grace for the edification of
the body of Christ (Rom. 12:4-6).

> GUIDANCE (Jn. 16:13). Guidance is derived from the Greek jodegeus which means to go forward in the way and guide
, literally: to lead the blind ( Strong 3594 ). In this facet the Holy Spirit goes before the believer advising, directing him
to all truth, because He does not speak on his own behalf, but on that of God (Acts. 13:2).

> TEACHING (Jn. 14:26). The word teaching used in this verse is translated from didásko which means to give instruction
( Strong 1321 ). The Holy Spirit is a teacher in us, giving us instructions, revelation (Lk. 12:12), the way Ezra taught the
law to the people of Israel (Neh. 8:8).

> FULLNESS (Acts. 2:4). The Holy Spirit fills us, the Bible emphasizes that we must maintain or remain filled with Him,
always (Eph. 5:18), so as not to satisfy the desires of the flesh (Gal. 5:16).

4. BAPTISM IN FIRE, Mt. 3:11
Fire is a figure of the test, pruning, sifting and desert that often comes to the Christian (1 Pet. 4:12), to weigh hearts, to test
and purify them, to be perfected; just as Jesus learned obedience through suffering (Heb. 5:8). The test is different from
temptation, because the latter is related to the delight of the flesh (Mt. 26 :41). Some purposes for which we will be baptized
in fire are:

> KNOW WHAT IS IN OUR HEART (Deut. 8:2). Test comes from the Hebrew root nacah which means to pass an exam (
Strong 5254 ), this tells us that the fire in our life examines us if we will keep its commandments or not. This word is
applied in Daniel, when he asked to be allowed to eat only vegetables and then taste or examine, in relation to the
others who ate the delicacies of the king's table (Dan. 1:12).

> LEARN OBEDIENCE (Heb. 5:8). Learning is translated from the Greek word manthano which means to learn, to
increase knowledge or to grow in knowledge and often to learn by investigation or observation ( Strong 3129 ), this
implies learning and knowing the Lord Jesus Christ and not only his doctrine; in order to walk differently from the rest
of the Gentiles (Vine Dictionary). Obedience comes from the Greek word hupakoe which means obedience rendered
to the commandments of Christ ( Strong 5218 ).

> LEARN PATIENCE (James 1:3,12). The testing of our faith produces patience, which must be perfected in us, because in
this way we will receive the crown of life. Patience translated from Greek hupomone: to lie low and bear something (
Strong 5281 ); Patience grows under tests, which can be: general (Lk. 21:19), of the gospel service (2 Cor. 6:4), by
discipline (Heb. 12:7).

AND It is only through baptism in repentance that we enter the kingdom of God and the sins that accused
us are forgiven and erased. When we are baptized in water, we show obedience and love to the
Lord, because we are fulfilling an ordinance that He has left and we begin to be freed from the
slavery of sin; However, it is necessary to insistently seek to be baptized by the Holy Spirit, and constantly seek his fullness,
which will enable us to exercise the gifts for the edification of the body of Christ, enjoying his guidance and teaching.
Furthermore, this fullness prepares us for baptism in fire, that is, when hard and difficult trials come, His presence will make
us emerge victorious. We must ask the Lord to be baptized in these facets, because this will prepare us for the following
ones.

11 THE FACETS OF BAPTISM II (In the Body,

in the Lamb and in the Father)
Module II
Basic
Doctrine “There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one
baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all, through all and in all” Ephesians (4:4-6)

AND
n Heb.6:2, we are exhorted to advance towards maturity, indicating that the rudiments of the doctrine
must already be known, and one of those rudiments is the doctrine of baptisms, which contemplates
seven facets that every Christian must know for firm and secure growth, which will prepare it for total
restoration. In the previous topic, four facets were studied (repentance, water, Holy Spirit and Fire), so it is necessary to
know them completely.

l he facets of baptism constitute a process where God deals specifically with each Christian, to carve in him the image of
Christ, and return him to his original form. In this theme the remaining three facets are developed, they are: baptism in
the Body, baptism in Christ or in the Lamb and baptism in the Father.
5. BAPTISM IN THE BODY, 1 Corinthians 12:13
The church is the mystical body of the Lord Jesus (Co. 1:18). Baptism into the Body refers to committing and identifying with
the church we attend, having unity, remaining in harmony, etc. At Pentecost, everyone was unanimous in one mind (Acts.
2:1), this baptism can come as a consequence of tribulation, persecution, poverty, etc. where one does not think only of a
personal solution, but of the common good (Acts. 2:4446). Some of the characteristics of those who experience this baptism
are:
> IT PERFORMS ITS FUNCTION IN THE BODY OF CHRIST (1 Cor. 12:14-20). He who has been baptized into the body
knows and understands that not only can he do everything, but that each one has different functions, that is why
he is not a sectarian, because he would be separating himself from the body; This teaches us that each one has a
function and we must take advantage of every gift that the other members of the body have.
> IT DOES NOT HARM THE BODY OF CHRIST (1 Cor. 12:26). When the person lives this facet of baptism is not
indifferent to what is happening to him to others; just as physically when we hurt a finger, the whole
body hurts (Mt. 25:36).
> RECOGNIZES THE FIVE MINISTRIES (Eph. 4:1-12). Recognizes that ministries are the joints of the Body,
through which it is maintained united, becoming the only means by which we will grow from
according to the will of God, since there are anti-ministries that seek unity, but to do what is contrary to the will of
God as happened in the tower of Babel (Ge. 11:4).
> HE CANNOT STOP LOVING HIS BROTHERS (Jn. 13:34-35). A characteristic of this baptism is that the person cannot
stop loving his brothers, not only as a verbal or momentary expression, but with true love that remains even in
difficult moments (Prov. 17:17).

6. BAPTISM INTO CHRIST OR INTO THE LAMB, Ephesians 5:31-32

It means our insertion into Him (Rev. 3:12;1 Cor. 15:45) For this baptism it is necessary to have participated in the previous
ones, dying for the world (Gal. 5:24) and living for Christ (Gal. 2:20), loving him and secretly longing for his coming (James.
5:7), because as we surrender all areas of our lives to the control of the Holy Spirit, He will restore our soul (Jn. 14:26),
through the ministers (Eph. 4:11-13; 1 P. 5:6).

A necessary step for the image of Christ to be carved in our lives is to be baptized in the Word (Eph. 5:26), for it makes us
truly free (Jn. 8:32,36), produces the faith necessary to act (Rom. 10:17) and to receive what God has for us (Gal. 3:2). By
immersing ourselves in the Word, we receive: love for the truth (Eph 4:15), cleansing (Jn.15:3), sanctification (Eph. 5:26),
strength (1 Thes. 1:6), joy (1 Thes. 1:6), freedom (Jn. 8:32), etc.

Ebenezer Ministries School of Doctrine

2
5
The benefits we obtain from this facet of baptism are:

> THERE IS NO CONDEMNATION. (Rom. 8:1).

> PARTICIPATE IN THE FIRST TURN OF RESURRECTION, if we die (1 Thes. 4:16-17).

7. BAPTISM IN THE FATHER, 1 Corinthians 15:28:

It is the last facet of baptism, and it consists of the way in which we leave God and come to earth, the moment comes
when in this way we will return to Him. This process begins when we are baptized in repentance, and then we go through
each of the facets until we reach baptism in the Lamb, that is, the moment in which we are brought into the Lord Jesus
Christ, (Rev. 3:12, 22:1-2), so that in the same way as Eve entered Paradise within Adam, we enter heaven immersed in
Christ. Some important aspects of this baptism are:

> Baptism into the Father will be fulfilled after all the enemies of the Lord are defeated, that is, after the White
Throne Judgment (1 Cor. 15:26-28; Ap. 21:14).

> Not all Christians will be baptized into the Father , only those who were previously found worthy and were
taken in the Parousia or experienced the ex-anastasis.
The Bible presents us with figures of baptism in the Father, some of them are:
> THE TABERNACLE (Ex. 40:17-38; No. 9:15-17). In the tabernacle, the priests represent all those Christians who
were baptized in the Lamb, the tabernacle represents Jesus Christ, who is the tabernacle of God (Jn. 1:14) and
the cloud represents the Father, because God descended from it when the tabernacle was inaugurated, when
he was manifested over the Ark of the Covenant (Lev. 16:2) Whenever the cloud moved, the people followed it,
a figure that after this baptism, we will always be with Him.
> THE MOUNT OF THE TRANSFIGURATION (Lk. 9:28-36). On the Mount of Transfiguration, Moses represents the
Christians who died and who at the Parousia will be resurrected and baptized into the Lamb (1 Thes. 4:15 17),
the disciples represent the Christians who went through the entire process of baptism and were finally baptized
into the Lamb at the Parousia (1 Cor. 15:52), Elijah represents those who were taken away without seeing death,
like Enoch (Gen. 5:24) and Elijah himself (2 Kings. 2:11) and the cloud that descends and envelops them
represents the Father. This teaches us how Jesus Christ is immersed in God the Father and we are together with
Him, fulfilling the verse that indicates that God would be all in all (1 Cor. 15:28).
> THE TEMPLE OF THE NEW JERUSALEM (Rev. 21:22). Jesus Christ said that he would make the victors a pillar of
the Temple of their God and that they would never leave there again (Rev. 3:12), giving the promise that those
who complete the process of baptism will return to the Father, from where they came, and will never leave
there again, because they will live eternally with Him, fulfilling " and to the house of the Lord I will return for long
days" (Salt. 23:6 NASB).

d We must ask the Lord that all facets of Baptism be a reality in our lives. Our desire is to participate in the facet of
Baptism in the Lamb, so we must be baptized in repentance, water, Holy Spirit, fire, and in the body. The facet of
baptism in the Lamb opens the door for us to participate in Baptism in the Father, that is, to return again to the
Most High God. That is why we see that the Ark of the Covenant was composed of 3 objects (Heb. 9:4), the manna that
represents Jesus Christ (Jn. 6:49-51); The Tables of the Law represent the Father, because He wrote them and put them in
the hands of Moses (Ex. 31:18); and Aaron's rod, represents the Holy Spirit, and were placed inside the Ark of the
Covenant, which represents the Most High who envelops all things.

12 THE FRUIT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT I

(LOVE, JOY, PEACE AND PATIENCE

Module II "But the fruit of the Spirit is: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness and dominion
Basic own. Against such things there is no law." Ga. 5:22-23
Doctrine "(for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, and righteousness, and truth), proving what is pleasing to the Lord.
Eph. 5:9-10

l
he Bible refers to the fruit being a collective name and not a series of fruits. We cannot choose or notice differences in
quality between the different aspects of the fruit, because they constitute a single whole and must be contemplated as the
normal result of a believer who walks in the Spirit. It is like an orange with different segments, which are all part of a single
fruit.

The Lord Jesus Christ indicated that people are a type of trees and that through the fruits, the integrity of each one would be
known; because a good tree bears good fruit and a bad tree bears bad fruit (Mt. 7:16, 20). Christians are transformed into
trees of righteousness through Jesus Christ; Therefore, they have the ability to produce fruits pleasing to God. The Bible
teaches that the fruit of the spirit is the product of crucifying the flesh with its passions and desires, living in the spirit (Gal.
5:25) and delight in the Word of God (Ps. 1:2-3).

T All fruit is the product of a sowing, where the land was worked, plowed with oxen, cleaned and fertilized, then fed,
fertilized, watered and cared for so that it produced pleasant fruit (Is. 5:1-2). In this same way, God must be allowed to
work the earth, that is, the soul, through the ministers, to be cleansed of all dirt, fed, so that it can drink the water of
the Word (Eph. 5:26) and live in the flow of the Holy Spirit (Jn. 7:38). This fruit is for God to eat, that is why it is read in the
book of the Song of Songs, "let my beloved come to his garden and eat of his sweet fruit" (Song. 4:6).

LOVE (Galatians 5:22)

The word “love” comes from the Greek word agape which means love and charity (Strong 26). According to the Encarta
dictionary, love is the “live affection or inclination towards a person or thing” but it is interesting that the definition given for
charity is “a theological virtue that consists of loving God above all things, and one's neighbor as one.” ourselves, for the love
of God”, this definition contains the two commandments on which Jesus said that all the law and the prophets depended
(Mt. 22:37-38).

If we practice them we will inherit eternal life (Lk. 10:25-29), so God's will for us is for us to develop that fruit in our lives.
That is why in 1st. Corinthians 13, we are told that the characteristics of love are: long-suffering, kind, does not envy, bears
no grudge, is not puffed up, is not slanderous, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil, does not rejoice.
injustice, rejoices in the truth, suffers everything, believes everything, hopes everything and endures everything. When these
virtues are manifested in our lives, it is evidence that the fruit of the Spirit is being produced in the Christian. It is interesting
to note that love is the greatest of all virtues (1 Cor. 13:13) and that we are commanded that although we desire spiritual
gifts, we must nevertheless seek to achieve this kind of love (1 Cor. 14:1), before all things. This love must manifest itself in:

LOVE GOD ABOVE ALL THINGS (Lk. 10:27). It is one of the commandments that God left written in the Mosaic law and was
repeated by Jesus, we must love him with all our heart, with all our soul, with all our strength and with all our mind, which
involves our integral being, that is the longing of the Lord, that we fall madly in love with Him, so that it is easier to bear His
yoke, because His yoke is easy and His burden is light (Mt. 11:30).

LOVE ONE ANOTHER (Jn. 15:17). The Lord Jesus urges us to love one another, that is, between families and among
brothers (Rom. 12:10). This will lead to seeking the common good, which is why in Psalm 133:1 we are told how good and
pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in harmony.

LOVE OUR ENEMIES (Mt. 5:44). The Mosaic law commanded that one hate one's enemies, but the Lord Jesus now asks us to
love them and pray for them, because that is the example of God, our Father, that when we were his enemies, through the
death of his son we were reconciled to Him (Rom. 5:10).

JOY (Galatians 5:22).

The word “joy” is derived from the Greek Chara which means joy, delight, rejoice, rejoice, pleasure, gladness, greatly, full of
joy (Strong 5479) and from the Greek chairo which means to rejoice, to be glad (Strong 5463), of These concepts derive from

the fact that a person through his joy, from rejoicing in God, can manifest the love of God dwelling in his life.

Joy, more than a temporary happiness due to the "good" circumstances of the moment, is a permanent happiness, which
does not depend on external circumstances, but on faith and communion with God (1 Thes. 1:6; Neh. 8:10); because there
may be adversity, but the joy does not change because it is hoped in the Lord. (Heb. 12:2) This example is observed in the
apostle Paul, who despite his imprisonment, was joyful and invited his brothers to rejoice. (Phil 1:25-26, 2:8, 4:4)

Some examples of the effect of this joy are: being joyful despite enemies (2 Chr. 20:27), instead of being sad (Jn 16:20),
instead of crying (Jer 31:13), instead of mourning (Is. 61:3), in tribulations (2 Cor 7:4), in trials (2 Cor. 8:2), in ministerial
suffering (Col. 1:24) in suffering for the gospel (Acts 5:40-42).

PEACE (Galatians 5:22)

Peace is derived from the Greek airene which is a word that implies prosperity and means peace, stillness and repose
(Strong 1515). This word is used to describe harmonious relationships between people (Mt. 10:34), between God and man,
through the gospel (Acts. 10:36) and order in the church (Vine Dictionary). This is one of the virtues that must govern the
heart (Col. 3:15), will make us abound in hope in the power of the Holy Spirit , surpassing human understanding, in adversity
and any circumstance.

The peace of God will allow the fears of this world not to contaminate the heart, whether economic, political, social, etc. (Job
18:11; Song. 3:8; Jer. 6:25). If we have the effect of peace in our hearts we will live in rest, despite: worldwide problems (Jn
14:27), wars (Ps 55:18), persecutions (1 Sam.20:42), enemies (Est. 9:16-22) etc.

PATIENCE (Galatians 5:22)

The term patience comes from the Greek word makrothumia, which means resistance, perseverance, perseverance and
tolerance. It is used to indicate temperance or strength of mind (Strong 3115). This is one of the virtues that must govern
the heart (Col. 3:12).

Strong's concordance indicates that patience is self-denial and limitation, through patience someone does not rashly take
revenge for a wrong. Patience is the opposite of cowardice and discouragement, it is the strength of mind to follow the Lord
in difficulties (Job), to have perseverance and perseverance in his search (Abraham), to run the race (Heb. 12:1), to wait for
the coming of the Lord (James. 5:7); since through it the promises that God has given are reached (Heb. 6:12) and in the
same way it is through it that a solid character will be obtained (Rom. 5:4).

c Harvesting the fruit of the Spirit is a continuous process where Christians must be worked by the Vineyard, God the
Father, putting to death the works of the flesh through the Holy Spirit, to produce a fruit pleasing to the palate of the
Lord Jesus Christ (Song. 4:16)

OR n fruit is produced by the inherent energy of a living organism (Mt. 7:17; Stg. 5:7), and that the farmer hopes
to reap after having sown; Like this farmer, our Heavenly Father expects our lives to bear fruit. That is why
God sends the early and the latter rain, to grow like strong trees, which always bear fruit (Ps. 1).

l
The word “fruit” is translated from the Greek karpos (Strong G2590) which means fruit; and it is the visible expression
of life in the Spirit. The Fruit of the Spirit in us is a sign of maturity, which will come to light and will be evident to
everyone, let's see:

BENIGNITY (Galatians 5:22). The word kindness is translated from the Greek Chrestotes which means moral excellence in the
sense of conduct, kindness, gentleness, gallantry and integrity (Strong G5544), but also from the word Chrestos which means
to improve, perfect, kind, with simplicity and is used to indicate docility (Strong 5543).

Kindness is not only a quality, but expresses action. This facet of the Fruit is manifested in the life of a believer, when he
demonstrates excellence in his conduct, externalizing kindness, gentleness and integrity, with simplicity of heart towards the
people of God (Eph. 4:32), and even toward unbelievers (2 Tim. 2:24)

He who possesses this virtue does not act aggressively (Tit. 3:2). Kindness denotes docility to be molded by the Lord, like clay
in the hands of the potter (Jer. 18:1-6). This facet can only be given through the Holy Spirit, the Lord gives us his greatest
example because he is benign even with the ungrateful and evil (Lk. 6:35, Rom. 2:4), that is why he sent his Son to die on the
cross in our place. Kindness is expressed in terms of grace, tenderness and compassion. Let's look at some examples of
benignity:

THE APOSTLE PAUL IN THESSALONIKI (1 Thess. 2:7-8). Paul tells the Thessalonians that he had been tender with them,
comparing himself to a nurse who tenderly cares for her children, so that nothing happens to them, and that through that
kindness he taught them to behave as worthy children of God.

GOODNESS (Galatians 5:22). The word kindness is translated from the Greek word agathosune which means useful,
excellence and is used to indicate righteousness of heart and an attitude of beneficence (Strong G19), which is derived from
agathos which means help and good things (Strong G18) Kindness is a helpful attitude toward other people, with
righteousness of heart, without hypocrisy, nor vainglory, and without interest; This help can be through prayer, as the
apostle Paul requested (Rom. 15:30).

It denotes an attitude of beneficence towards those in need (Acts. 20:35), providing them with things for their provision
(Heb. 13:10). Goodness must be characteristic of regenerated people, Paul wrote to the brothers in Rome that they were full
of goodness and that they were capable of admonishing one another (Rom. 15:14), telling us that kindness is a firm quality, it
is doing good to others not necessarily by gentle means, but also by warning others who have done something reprehensible

PAUL WITH THE CORINTHIANS (1 Cor. 5; 2 Co. 2:1-8). Paul strongly admonishes the brothers of Corinth for a case of
immorality in the congregation, but in the second letter, he lets them know that he did it with sadness, with pain, hoping to
receive a favorable response from them. This attitude of the apostle Paul is characterized as kindness.

PAUL REBUDS PETER (Gal. 2:11). In the church of Antioch, Peter separated himself from the Gentiles so as not to eat with
them, because he was afraid of the criticism of the Jews and with his attitude he dragged Barnabas away, for which Paul,
using kindness, rebuked Peter. , knowing that Jews and Gentiles were justified by God, and that there was no longer any
difference (Rom. 10:12).

We must notice the difference between benignity and goodness. Kindness is a disposition towards others that translates
into gentle actions and kindness is a kind activity on their behalf, which depending on the case can be drastic actions.

FAITH (Galatians 5:22). The word faith is translated from the Greek pistis which means firm persuasion, conviction based
on what has been heard, trust, security, faith and fidelity (Strong G4102). One of the aspects of faith is confidence in knowing
God, being faithful to God and men. In simple terms, faith is believing God. It is acting with the conviction that what God has
promised he will give us.

GENTLENESS (Galatians 5:23). The word meekness is translated from the Greek praotes which means meekness and humility
(Strong G4236). Meekness is a work carried out in the soul, since meekness disposes the human spirit to accept God's

dealings, which is why the greatest example of meekness is our Lord Jesus Christ (Mt. 11:29).

Some people believe that meekness is a synonym for weakness, but on the contrary, the meekness manifested by Christ in
the face of the sufferings of Calvary was the result of the Power of God acting in his life.

Paul instructed Christians to show meekness toward all men (Tit. 3:2), because it befits “God's elect” (Col. 3:12) The Bible
asks us to bear fruits of meekness with everyone, let's see an example:

WITH THOSE WHO OPPOSE THE GOSPEL (2 Tim. 2:25). It is difficult to show meekness with those who contend against
God, however we must ask the Lord to fill our hearts with this virtue so that we can lovingly attract lost souls to Christ.

l Dead trees do not produce fruit and diseased trees do not bear good fruit. For that reason we must allow ourselves to be
molded by the Holy Spirit to bear fruit one hundredfold.

14 THE FRUIT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT III

(SELF-CONTROL OR TEMPERANCE, JUSTICE, TRUTH AND
FRUIT OF LIPS)
Module II
Basic But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness (faith), Gentleness, self-
Doctrine control; against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22
For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness and truth. Eph. 5:9 Therefore let us always offer to
God, through Him, a sacrifice of praise, that is, the fruit of lips that confess His name. Heh. 13:15

AND
times one.
The power of God works internally and invisibly through the Holy Spirit in those who are brought
into union with Christ (John. 15:2-8,16), We must produce these fruits by being united to Christ,
preparing our land, so that the seed that He has sown bears fruit and bears fruit 100, 60 or 30

AND n Eph. 5:9 we are mentioned about a fruit of the Holy Spirit that is goodness, justice and truth, these
represent the expression of the Christian's union with God. By accepting Christ, the Father is with us,
the Son and the Holy Spirit dwell within us, therefore, their life in us enables us to show the fruits, so
that the Father may descend into the garden and taste them. .

TEMPERANCE (Gal. 5:23). The word “temperance” is derived from the Greek enkrateia (Strong G1466) and from kratos
which means strength and is translated temperance (Strong G2904). The American Bible best translates it as self-control.
The term temperance refers specifically to abstinence from consuming alcoholic beverages and getting drunk, however the
term self-control is broader, as it applies to various forms of control.

Everything we receive from the Lord can be susceptible to abuse, and its right use demands the controlling power of the will
under the operations of the Spirit of God. For example, some drinks, foods, some pleasures are not bad in themselves, the
problem is when man loses control and cannot exercise control over them. Food is good, but it can become bad when
consumed in excess, because it can cause health problems for some.

The word Dominion" is translated from the Greek language enkrateia which means self-control, temperance (Strong G1461)
and own" from the Greek emautou which means for my own account, of myself, my own benefit, what is convenient for
me, what to myself useful is (Strong G1683),

Self-control is refraining from doing or not doing certain things, which will result in one's benefit. That is why Paul said that
everything was lawful for us to do, but not everything was profitable and not everything edified (1 Cor. 10:23), furthermore,
recommended that we be temperate, as appropriate, and stop sinning (1 Cor. 15:34),
The apostle Paul says; that everyone who competes abstains (temperance, self-control) from everything, to receive a
corruptible crown, however, we must manifest self-control, because we will receive an incorruptible crown that God has
reserved for us. Temperance is self-control by being balanced. When a Christian does not have self-control, his testimony will
show it.

JUSTICE (Eph. 5:9 For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness and truth ). The word “justice” is derived from
the Greek root dikaiosune which means character or quality of being upright or just (Strong G1343). “This word is used to
denote an attribute of God (Rom. 3:5 And if our injustice highlights the justice of God, what shall we say? Is the God who
expresses his anger unjust? (I speak in human terms), the context of which shows that God's justice means essentially the
same thing as his faithfulness, or truthfulness, that which is consistent with his own nature and promises” (Vine Dictionary).

To have that justice is to do everything that is right or just in itself (justice of God), it is to practice everything that conforms
to the revealed will of God (Mt. 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied.,

Ebenezer Ministries School of Doctrine

10,20 Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.). It is taking
into account what God has indicated so that it can be recognized and obeyed by man (Mt. 3:15 And Jesus answered and said
unto him, Permit it now; because it is convenient that we fulfill all justice in this way. So Juan allowed it*.). The fruit of justice
is sown in peace (James. 3:18), that is, the seed produces that fruit and those who make peace produce a harvest of
righteousness.

TRUTH (Eph. 5:9). Truth is derived from the Greek aletheia which translates truth, sincerity, integrity of character (Strong
G225). It is also derived from aletheuo which means to deal faithfully or truthfully with anyone Strong G226). An evidence of
this facet of the fruit of the Spirit in a person is that he is sincere, upright in character, without any duplicity (Mt. 5:37 But let
your speech be: "Yes, yes" or "No, no"; and what is more of this, comes from evil.), is faithful and speaks the truth, he does
not care about the consequences. The Bible says that he who speaks truth declares righteousness (Prov. 12:17 He who
speaks truth declares what is right, but a false witness declares falsehood.)

One of the benefits of people who speak the truth is that they will remain forever, because the truth is Christ (Prov. 12:19
True lips will remain forever, but a lying tongue will remain only for a moment; Jn. 14:6 Jesus said to him*: I am the way, and
the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me.). Everyone who testifies of Christ communicates the
truth of the gospel and will have eternal life (Gal. 2:5 to which we did not yield for a moment, so as not to submit, so that the
truth of the gospel may remain with you.), but whoever deviates from the truth runs the risk of believing myths (2 Tim. 4:4
And they will turn their ears away from the truth, and will turn to myths. ) and stray from the path.

FRUIT OF LIPS THAT CONFESS HIS NAME (Heb. 13:15 Therefore let us continually offer through Him a sacrifice of praise to
God, that is, the fruit of lips that confess His name. The word “lips” is derived from the Greek term cheilos , which is used to
refer to the organ of speech (Mt. 15:8 "THIS PEOPLE HONOR ME WITH THEIR LIPS, BUT THEIR HEART IS FAR FAR FROM ME;
Mr. 7:6 And He said to them, Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: "THIS PEOPLE HONOR ME WITH
THEIR LIPS, BUT THEIR HEART IS FAR FAR FROM ME) and specifically in the act of honoring God (Strong G5491 ).

The Vine dictionary notes that “lip honor” has a deeper meaning than empty words. The Jews had a custom of putting the
tassel of the taled , which consists of a piece of wool used to cover the head and neck during prayer, in their mouths. They
did that ritual as an acceptance of the law in their hearts. Actually they practiced it as a custom but they did not do it in their
hearts, because the Lord Jesus called them whitewashed tombs (Mt. 23:27 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!
For you are like whitewashed tombs, which on the outside look beautiful, but on the inside are full of bones of the dead and
of all filth.) We must take care that everything that comes out from our mouth honor the Lord and not only to be seen (Lk.
18:11 The Pharisee stood up and prayed to himself in this way: "God, I thank you that I am not like other men: swindlers,
unjust, adulterers; not even like this tax collector: 14 I tell you that this He went down to his house justified but that one was
not; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.)

Fruit of lips can be applicable to it applies to using our lips to celebrate, with praise to the Lord, as a recognition of his
authority, majesty, power, excellence, etc., Iodine what comes out of our mouth in our daily speaking our daily speaking is
this kind of fruit that the Lord is looking for in us.

d We must ask the Lord that our heart be a good soil, so that the seed that He plants bears fruit and we can bear the
precious fruit, the Lord is patient with us until he returns again and raises us up, that is why he sends us his early rain
and late (Stg. 5:7 Therefore, brothers, be patient until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the
precious fruit of the earth, being patient in it until he receives the early and late rain ) , because he wants to eat its fruit (1
Cor. 9:7 Who has ever served as a soldier at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard and does not eat its fruit? Or who tends
a flock and does not drink the milk of the flock? )..

15 THE VEIL
Module II Judge for yourselves: Is it proper for a woman to pray to God without covering her head?
Doctrine (1 Cor. 11:13)
Basic

l The Bible contains teachings that do not influence salvation, but do influence subjection and the ministration of God's
blessing. In Matthew 7:28, the word "doctrine" is translated from the Greek Didache , meaning instruction (Strong 1322),
that is, a teaching that is put into practice, as a way of life. God has delegated His authority for the purpose of regulating,
subjecting, governing and ordering all things, because He is a God of order (1 Cor. 14:33). The Lord has established a principle
of authority in order that the fruit of subjection may be recognized and evidenced. The Scripture says: Christ is the head of
every man; and the man is the head (authority) of the woman, and God is the head of Christ. (1 Cor. 11:3), therefore the
Church has the responsibility to learn the basic principles of subjection.

AND The veil on a woman is a sign or evidence of subjection to the man's authority over her, and
therefore, it becomes a sign of authority before the angels, in public or private cults of God. Strong's
concordance explains "he must have power over his head", now the word "power" is translated from
the Greek Exousia , which means authority, jurisdiction, right to act, freedom of action and power (Strong 1849), indicating
that, literally, "power is a covering, a sign that she is under the power of the man." God is no respecter of persons (Rom.
2:11), is neither sexist nor feminist (1 Cor. 11:11), so subjection in the woman is for blessing and for her protection. The Lord
shows in the New Testament that authority must be in love:
{ From the Church to Christ (Eph. 5:24-25);
• From children to parents (Col. 3:20; Eph. 6:4);
• From wife to husband (Eph. 5:22; Cabbage. 3:18), and
• To the government authorities (Rom. 13:1).

There is an example in the Old Testament (1 Cor. 10:6) of what subjection represents: Ruth (Ruth 3:7) voluntarily covers
herself with the mantle (authority) of Boaz to receive help, redemption, shelter, food, clothing, etc., in a word: Blessing. God
uses examples to teach us what we must learn (Lk. 21:29; 8:10). The principle of order in worship is described in the first
letter to the Corinthians. In (1 Cor.11) first part, it is indicated what the attitude and personal conduct of the brothers and
sisters who participate in the worship of the Lord should be, so we must be attentive to put them into practice (1 Cor. 11:2).

A. THE DIVINE ORDER.

In God's order there is blessing and prosperity. Just as in a marriage, which is not in God's order, people remain married,
but without real prosperity, so also the Church that does not believe and does not obey God, there can be blessing, but
not in the dimension that God wishes (Mr. 6:5,6). When the Bible refers to head, this word is translated from the Greek
kefalé , meaning: head, idea of source, origin, beginning, dependence (Strong 2776). The example that the Lord gives is
that He is the head of the Church, which is his body (Eph. 5:23), which teaches us that, just as the body cannot be
directed without the head, the lines of authority must have their corresponding support. Subjection (from the Greek =
hupotage : subordination (Strong 5292) 1 Tim. 2:11) is a partner of authority. In this same passage, God delegates
authority over women to the man, just as he does with the ministers who cover his Church (Eph. 4:11).

B. THE VEIL (1 Cor. 11:6).

The word "veil" is translated from the Greek Katakalupto , meaning to cover completely (Strong 2619); Likewise, it is
made up of two words: kata , which means below (Strong 2596), and kalupto , which means to cover , hide (Strong
2572); That is, it is any garment whose purpose is to cover. A clear differentiation must be made that the veil is not to
cover the face, but the head (1 Cor. 11:10). Didactically, covering is synonymous with authority.

C. WHO SHOULD WEAR A VEIL? (1 Cor. 11:4-7).

Ebenezer Ministries School of Doctrine

V THE MEN SHOULD NOT COVER HIMSELF.
The Bible clearly indicates that a man should not cover himself, because he is an image ( eikon = representation,
likeness, portrait (Strong G1504) and glory ( doxa = honor, dignity, praise, praise, reverence (Strong G1391)) of God. If
man does it, he dishonors God. The word dishonor is derived from the Greek word kataischuno , which means: to
affront, to shame, to blush, to blush, to grieve (Strong G2617), which means that covering in man is an act of rebellion.

{ THE WOMAN SHOULD COVER UP.

The woman is the glory of the man (1 Tim. 2:13), so it must have a sign of such authority. Her head is the visible male, so
she wears a visible veil. Covering oneself is an easy act, it has no difficulty, however, some find it difficult to practice it
because there is a struggle with their soul (Naaman and the Jordan River humiliation, 2 Kings. 5:11-14), but the blessing
comes from God by pleasing him, by believing him rather than men (Heb. 11:6; Acts. 4:19), is superabundant (Naaman
healed of leprosy with baby skin. 2 R. 5:14). If the woman considers that she does not look pretty, that she does not like
it, that she does not believe it, that she does not accept it, then the Bible indicates that she should be sheared ( keiro =
shear , Strong G2751) or shaved ( Xurao = shave , Strong G3587).

Covering oneself is an instruction of obedience, because by not covering oneself, spiritually, one is affronting the
authority of God. It is important to note that it is the same Word of God that gives these instructions in this regard
(authority) and that Christians must follow them to practice them (submission). The Bible says "honor the king"
(authority) (1 Pet. 2:17 in its second part), if this is said of a mortal man, how much more will it be of the spiritual king
(head, authority) appointed by God.

D. WHEN SHOULD THE VEIL BE WORN?

{ WHEN YOU PRAY AND PROPHESY (1 Cor. 11:4-5)

This passage indicates that women should wear the veil when praying or prophesying , whether in the congregation or at
home.

{ SHOULD NOT BE USED IN OTHER ACTIVITIES (1 Cor. 11:15)

God naturally gives women lush hair, a characteristic of their femininity, which is the opposite in men. Hair protects.
Cases of baldness in women are rare compared to those in men. This teaches that God gives his natural sign (veil) of
authority to women for their natural activities: at home, at work, on the street, in Church service, or anywhere. Here it is
not necessary to wear a veil. It is interesting to see that long hair also serves as a veil for the unconverted woman, as
protection from spiritual powers.

E. WHY SHOULD WOMEN WEAR A VEIL? (1 Cor. 11:8-13)

The male was created by God and the female derived from him. (v.8-10) He was taking a rib (near the heart) to be loved (Eph.
5:25) and close to the arm (protection, coverage). It was not taken from the feet (humiliation) nor from the head
(government). However, it was also established that the man was born of a woman (v.11-12) and she depended on him, to
establish a balance between the two, so that he did not lord it over and the woman did not rebel, and both depended on
God. , the Creator, the Supreme Authority (1 Pet. 3:22).

V Because of the Angels

Angels are spiritual characters, ministers of the saved (Heb.1:14), but there are also fallen ones, who will want to
intervene performing the same role as the faithful, but with purposes opposite to God (Gal.1:8). Both recognize
authority. . (Jude 9). For example, the veil acts as the blood of the Passover lamb applied to the lintels of the door
did (Ex.12:7), which when the Destroyer arrived did no harm, because of the sign he saw.

That is why it clearly says: "he must have a sign of authority on his head when he prays or prophesies because of the
angels." In other words, it must indicate that it recognizes an authority over it that covers and protects it, so the
angels of God will minister everything that God wants, while the others will not be able to act.

/ For being a sign of Authority.

Ebenezer Ministries School of Doctrine

3
4
The Greek root of the word "sign" is Semeion , meaning symbol, pledge, remembrance, proof, token (Strong G4592).
From this it follows that the veil is not authority in itself, but a testimony of the authority to which the woman submits,
so the use of the veil must begin in the heart (Heb. 8:10; Mt.15:8). The person who does not wear the veil to pray or
prophesy, knowing this truth, has a symbol that there is no subjection to the Word of God and authority.

AND
the veil (v.3-15).
In 1 Corinthians 11:1-2, the Apostle Paul exhorts us to be imitators of him, as he is of Christ. Then he
praises the people for their firm obedience (without double meaning) to the apostolic instructions
(1909 version) given, immediately afterwards he goes on to give the teaching regarding the use of

It also says that the apostles and the Churches of God should not engage in strife ( filoneikos : filos = friend, fan, lover)
(Strong G5384), and ( neikos = fray, strife, quarrel, dispute, quarrel), thus establishes that obedience to such instructions is
not optional (v.16). However, the person must be brought to confirm in the Scriptures what is taught (Acts. 17:10-15) for the
purpose of understanding and putting the Word into practice (Ps. 119:105) and so that the Lord may manifest himself more
and more in his life (Jn. 14:21).

16 THE TITH AND THE OFFERING

Module II
Basic Bring all the tithes to the storehouse, so that there may be food in my house; and test me now in this, says the
Doctrine Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you, and pour out a blessing upon you until it
overflows. Evil. 3:10 Let each one give as he has purposed in his heart, not grievously or out of necessity, for
God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Co. 9:7

AND The tithe and the offering are commandments that are in force until the present, so we must fulfill
them out of love, gratitude and obedience to God, keeping in mind at all times that we only give
what we receive from his hand (1 Chr. 29:1-14). Furthermore, it is a privilege to be able to give a little
of the much that God gives us for the magnification of his work throughout the earth.

1. THE TITH: The word “tithe” is translated from the Hebrew word maaser which means tenth (from asar = a tenth) (Strong
H4643): also from the Hebrew word 'asar which means to take a tenth of (Strong H6237), and from Greek word dekáte
meaning tenth (from dekatos = a tenth) (Strong G1181).

The tithe is then, taking a tenth of a certain thing, specifically it refers to the contribution of material and economic
goods, so we must consider fidelity and obedience in the delivery of the tithes of what the Lord provides us. This
commandment has been in force since before the law (Abram to Melchizedek, Gen 14:17,20); in the time of the law
(Israel to the Levites) and in this time (Christian to his minister), that as children of Abraham we must do the works of
Abraham. Let's look at some aspects of tithing:

• MUST BE BROUGHT. In Malachi we are told that we must bring the tithe, this verb is in the imperative mood, that is, it
indicates an order or commandment, which we must not delay in obeying. The word bring comes from the Hebrew
bow' and means to come with, bring, enter into, go, carry something, pass, cross and out (Strong H935), with the
connotation that one should do, once again , indicating a continuous practice, whether in times of prosperity or trial.

The tithe is a commandment that we must give or offer, as a continuous practice, in communion with the Lord and
voluntarily, even if we are going through times of scarcity.

• IT MUST BE TAKEN TO THE STORE. Alfolí is derived from the Hebrew 'otsar which translates as treasure, provision,
household reserve and supply (Strong H214) indicating that it can be food and drink, but also gold and silver. The tithe
was to be taken to the storehouse so that there would be food in the house of God, so that the priests who ministered
before Him could receive it and dispose of it (Num. 18:21,24).

This tells us that tithes are to be brought or delivered to the place where we spiritually feed and congregate (Num
18:26) and are for the minister to properly administer. The giving of the tithe is recognition of the authority of the
minister (Heb. 7:2,7) that is giving him food (Word). On the other hand, it is also mentioned that of the tithe that the
minister receives, he must reserve the tithe for the Lord (Num. 18:26).

• MUST BE WITHOUT DEFECT (Dt. 14:22). The tithe given must be without defect, a product in good condition, and if it is
money, it must be earned honestly, through work and not dishonestly.

• IT MUST BE GIVEN FAITHFULLY. Tithing is one of the few areas in which the Lord allows us to test Him, that is, to have
full confidence that He will fulfill what He promised and rebuke the devourer for us. The word test is derived from the
Hebrew B' bachan which means to test, demonstrate something, review, examine and take something to the test
(Strong H974), only those who know they will comply commit to being tested, something that only God can do, since He
is faithful and never fails to keep his promises. This means that if we are faithful in bringing our tithes to the Lord, our
economy will not be affected by shortages.

Ebenezer Ministries School of Doctrine

6
2. THE OFFERING: Offering is translated from the Hebrew ruwmah which means heave offering, contribution given in kind
or money (Strong H8641). This term descends from the root ruwm which means to exalt or elevate ; denoting that the
offerings or contributions are raised high when placed on the altar. Offering is also translated from the Greek eulogia
which means good speech and praise (Strong G2129), and from the Greek eulogeo which means to speak well of, to
praise, to celebrate with praise, of that which is directed to God, recognizing his goodness and with a desire to give
glory to Him (Strong 2127), denotes money sent to needy believers (Vine Dictionary). This tells us that when we give our
offering to cover a need, we are praising our God, recognizing the work that He has done in us, and we honor Him. Some
aspects of it are:

• IT IS VOLUNTARY (2 Cor. 9:7; Ex. 36:3). The Bible declares that each person should give his offering as he purposed in his
heart; “proposed” is derived from the Greek proaireo which means to bring out or forward, to take by choice, to prefer
and to propose Strong 4255), which tells us that the offering must be brought to the church voluntarily, the Christian
must propose to offer of heart, since God wrote his law in it. The closer our relationship with the Lord is, the more our
heart will be motivated to give, considering that God is not interested in the amount but in the disposition of the heart
to give (Lk. 21:1,4). Another important aspect is that to deliver it, we must be on an account with our brothers (Mt. 5:23,
24).

• WITH A HEALTHY ATTITUDE (2 Co. 9:7). The offering should be given with joy, and not expecting a reward for it, because
giving brings the great blessing of receiving the love of God in our hearts. On the other hand, it is said that it should not
be given with pain, nor with affliction, nor with murmuring, nor with meanness of wanting to receive retribution for it,
because that displeases the Lord.

• MUST BE GENEROUS (Ex. 35:21; 2 Co. 9:7). The offering must be given generously, not sparingly, since this is a principle
established by God of sowing and reaping, for whoever sows sparingly will reap sparingly, but whoever sows generously
will reap generously.

AND The believer is exhorted to give, not by an imposed standard but by presenting him with the example
of grace of the Lord Jesus Christ himself, who for love of us became poor while being rich (2 Cor. 8:9).
It is noteworthy that although the tithe and the offering belong to the Lord, the entire integral being
must be offered to him, just as he offered himself as a burnt offering for sin. Let us remember that God is the owner of gold
and silver (Hag. 2:8), however, he asks for obedience to faithfully deliver the tithe of what He himself provides, in the same
way he gives us the privilege of contributing through the offering for the development of his work and the preaching of the
gospel in the world. , so that our hearts do not have problems of greed and that our economy is healthy.

17 THE TRUE FASTING

Module II Does not the fast that I have chosen consist, rather, in loosening the bands of ungodliness, in loosening the
Basic bonds of the yoke, in setting free the broken, and in breaking every yoke? Is it not about sharing your bread
Doctrine with the hungry and bringing the homeless poor into your home? Is it not to cover your neighbor when you
see him naked, and not to hide from him who is your own flesh? Isaiah 58:6-7

l The Bible teaches us that the people of Israel fasted for various reasons, for example: to prepare before receiving a
message from God or before going to fulfill a special mission from God, also on the occasion of the death of a loved one or
to commemorate national catastrophes (Jud. 20:26) and to implore God's help, discernment or forgiveness (1 Sam. 7:6).

However, God speaks to them through the prophet Isaiah, that these fasts were not what He received, because they were to
seek his own convenience (Is. 58:3). God searches the depths of men's hearts to know the intention with which fasting is
carried out (Prov. 20:27), for this reason, Isaiah explains what is the true fast that pleases God, and the importance of
knowing what its characteristics are to please God when practicing it.

AND Fasting is a tool that God has left for his Church to seek his face; However, it has been taught that
"fasting" is only abstaining from food; but the Bible teaches that this is only part of the fast that
God has established.

The word "fasting" is translated from the Greek Nesteia which means: abstinence, scarcity, lack, needy, lack of
nourishment, sustenance, food, whether voluntarily or involuntarily (Strong 3521). Nesteia is made up of two Greek words:
Ne, meaning negative, and Esthio , meaning to eat, devour ; It is also related to the Greek word Nestis , which means: do not
eat, abstain. Primarily it means voluntarily abstaining from food for the purpose of seeking the Lord.

Secondly, it also means " abstinence " without specifying what; This teaches us that fasting is also denying more than just
food, it is denying anything that satisfies the human being, with the purpose of offering it to God, it can be a certain diet
(meat), television, recreation or any delight. Let's see:

A. Loose the bands of ungodliness: When speaking of loosening, it refers to the Hebrew word: pattach , which means to
open, completely open, to open wide, to release, to release and to put out (Strong 6605). Ligatures is translated from
the Hebrew word chartsubbah , which means: bonds, bonds, commitments, bonds, shackles, and prickings (Strong
2784), and the word ungodliness is translated from the Hebrew Rasha which means grievance, condemnation, trouble
(Strong 7562); That is to say, fasting is releasing, letting go of all commitments, ties or links that one has with impious
people; stopping doing wrong, offending, condemning, accusing and causing problems, so that when necessary, forgive
and/or ask for forgiveness (Gen. 50:17).

To do this, it is necessary for the person to have a humble heart to recognize that they are doing wrong and correct it,
so, the closer the communion with the Lord, the more humility there will be to change those attitudes that lead to
binding people, since God does not dwell where there is ungodliness (Job 34:10).

B. Releasing the burdens of the yoke The word "girdles" is translated from the Hebrew word aguddah , which means:
weight, burden and great responsibility (Strong 92), which means that true fasting is letting go of all burdens and
weights, one's own and those of others. other people, to please the Lord. Hebrews 12:1 encourages us to lay aside
every weight to run the race with patience to reach the goal, that is, to reach the stature of Christ. What is that weight
or burden that must be shed? The KJV translates this part of the verse as: Undoing the heavy burden , and the Bible
teaches that heavy burden is:

❖ Idolatry (Isa. 46:1): Idolatry is a heavy burden, which must be stripped away and stripped from other people,
because God does not like it when another thing or person takes its place in our life; That is why we are urged to flee

from idolatry. (1Co. 10:14).

❖ Iniquity (Ps. 38:4): It has to do with injustice, the condition of not being right, both before God and before people
and with everything that someone asks others to do, but that he is not willing to do, for example: legalism (Mt. 23:2-
4).

❖ Vanity and eagerness (Ecl. 2:22-23): The book of Ecclesiastes indicates that people get nothing from working hard
and worrying, what's more, eagerness and vanity become a heavy burden, which does not allow them to carry out
true fasting, which is why Jesus said not to worry about our lives, neither about food nor clothing, because our
heavenly Father will never abandon us or forsake us (Mt. 6:25-34).

❖ Self-sufficiency (Num.11:14; Deut.1:12): Moses reached the point where he realized that he could not govern such
a large people alone, and his father-in-law Jethro advised him to find other people to help him. Self-sufficiency
becomes a heavy burden when we do not recognize that we need the help of other brothers and the help of God in
our lives.

God is able to break, loosen the bands of any yoke that has been placed on us. (Es. 10:27).

C. Setting the broken free: The term “broken” comes from the Greek word ratsas , which means: oppressed, bruised,
discouraged, broken, crushed, crushed, crumpled, pressed (Strong 7533) . The Bible says that people are broken
because of:

❖ Disobedience (Deut. 28:33): God made it known to the people of Israel that they would enjoy blessing as long as
they remained obedient to his commands, but if they disobeyed, then they would be oppressed and broken,
therefore, it is necessary to be obedient to get out of brokenness and thus practice fasting, since Jesus was the
greatest example, who through suffering for love of us, learned obedience (Heb. 5:8). In the Old Testament it speaks
of a prophet who disobeyed the instructions that God had given him, for which he was broken, and met death (1
Kings. 13:26).

❖ Following commands of men Hosea 5:11 (NASB): Man can become broken by following commands of men. In the
New Testament we are commanded not to follow the precepts of men (Col. 2:20 22), which are destroyed with use.

❖ The evil man (Job 20:19; Judg. 10:7-8): The Bible describes that the evil man breaks and forsakes the poor and steals
their homes.

Practicing fasting then means stopping :

V Leading the people towards disobedience through lies (1 Kings. 22:22-23).
V Enslave the people with the commandments of men, in the style of the Pharisees (Mark 7:8).
V Oppress, abuse, enslave (Mal. 3:5; A.M. 4:1; Stg. 3:4).
/ Hit and hurt (Lc. 12:45).
V Discourage others (Num. 32:6-9; Cabbage. 3:21).

D. Break every yoke: The word break is translated from the Hebrew word nathaq , which means to split, break, and
fracture (Strong 5423). Yoke, translated from the Hebrew mowtah , means yoke (Strong 4133). The yoke biblically
represents servitude and slavery, but it can also refer to all forms of injustice, so breaking every yoke refers to stopping
enslaving (Gal. 5:1; Tit. 3:3; 2 P. 2:19) with:
❖ The Law (Acts. 15:1-11; Gal 5:1).
❖ Rebellion (Lm. 1:14).
❖ The world (2 Cor. 6:14).

E. Sharing bread with the hungry: The word "share" is translated from the Hebrew word Parac , which means, to break,
to divide equally (Strong 6536) and the word "bread" is translated from the Hebrew lechem , which means bread,
nourishment, and meal. in general (Strong 3899). Therefore, we must share our food supply with those who are in

need.

Now, we know that Jesus is the Bread that came down from heaven (John 6:35), and that in a spiritual sense, people are
waiting for that Bread to fill their spiritual need, through Christians. On the other hand, the Bible teaches that the Word
is food (Jer. 15:16; Dt. 8:3), and with solid food (Heb. 5:12). Fasting is then:
❖ Taking care of the needs of others, that is, literally feeding those who do not have anything, so that their physical
needs are covered (James. 2:14-17), as if it were the Lord Jesus Christ who is fed (Mt. 25:35-40).

❖ Fulfill the mandate to go and make disciples, through the teaching of the Word (Mt. 28:19-20), to everyone. To fulfill
this mandate, an apostolic church is needed, which sends evangelists, pastors, apostles, prophets and teachers, to
build the body of Christ (Eph. 4:11-12).

F. Bringing home the homeless poor: The term "carry" is translated from the Hebrew word bow' , which means to
carry,
to approach, to be willing voluntarily, to be the cause of, to carry in arms (Strong 935). When this portion refers to the
poor, in Hebrew it is 'aniy which means a person who is: poor, deficient, weak, weak, malnourished, modest, afflicted
(Strong 6041), and when it talks about "homeless", It is maruwd , which means: wretched, unfortunate, refugee
(Strong 4788) .

Therefore, whoever wants to fast for the Lord, must be willingly willing to take, if necessary, those who are weak,
afflicted, who are unhappy or refugees, home, in aspects such as the following:

❖ Literal protection of those in need, practicing hospitality (Rom. 2:13; Mt. 25:35-40), without murmuring (1P. 4:9),
evaluating who is staying, but keeping in mind that some have unknowingly hosted angels (Heb. 13:2).

❖ Bringing to our congregation those who have nowhere to congregate.

❖ Sustaining those who are spiritually weak (1 Thes. 5:14).

❖ Strengthen weak knees (Isa. 35:3). It means giving strength to those who feel unhappy, who have lost their trust in
God, so that they can walk again on their Path.

To act in this sense, we need to be sensitive to the needs of the people around us, since God is going to ask us to
account for them (Ez. 3:20-21).

G. When you see your neighbor naked, cover him: When talking about "see" it refers to the Hebrew word a'ah , which
means to see, pay attention, observe, notice, have vision, pay attention to, discern, materialize, make visible (Strong
7200); The word naked is translated from the Hebrew 'arowm' which means: naked, exposed, obvious, aggressive,
brazen, bare head (Strong 6174), and when it refers to covering, the Hebrew word is: kacah which is to cover, cover,
cover information about, protect, escort, cover, hide, hide, dissemble, cover up (Strong 3680).

This indicates that the Christian must pay attention, observe and discern when his neighbor is uncovered, or has
become aggressive or when his head is uncovered, to cover him, providing him with protection. Of course, the main
characteristic that a Christian must have must be love, since love covers a multitude of faults (Prov. 10:12; 1st. Q. 4:8;
Stg. 5:20). The action of covering can be seen in two senses:
V Literally, it is giving clothing to those who need it, as if it were for the Lord Jesus Christ (Mt. 25:35-40), because He will
reward you.

V Spiritually, have the vision that when the neighbor does not have a spiritual head to cover him, then it becomes
necessary to extend the coverage of the five ministries (Ruth 3:9; 2 Cor. 5:3).

H. Do not hide from who is your own flesh: Hide is translated from the Hebrew word: 'alam which means: blind, blind,
hide, dissimulate, conceal (Strong 5956), and flesh from the Hebrew: basar which means: flesh and bone, body (

Strong 1320). This tells us that it is not appropriate to be blind, dissimulated in the face of the need of our literal and
spiritual family, in the face of an urgent need, but on the contrary, true fasting exhorts us to help them, comfort them,
exhort them, provide for them, etc. (Mt. 7:10-13)

d God has left fasting as a means for the Christian to get closer to Him, so that he can have constant communion, know
Him more, find comfort, strength and wisdom, so that he may live pleasing his heart always, and with an attitude of
forgiveness seeking the blessing of the brothers, and that the Lord can express the phrase that he said of Christ Jesus "
this is my beloved Son, in whom I delight " (Mt. 17:5).

18 THE SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY

Module II Let every person submit to higher authorities; because there is no authority except from God, and those that
Basic exist have been established by God. So, whoever opposes authority resists what is established by God; and those
Doctrine who resist bring condemnation upon themselves. Ro. 13:1-2

l The Bible mentions that since ancient times, God delegated his authority to different characters, with the intention that
they could exercise government over peoples; but due to the misuse that some of them gave it, God took away this
authority from them, rejecting them from his presence.

d God has always delegated his authority, in many ways at other times (Heb. 1:1-2), but now he has delegated all
authority to his Son Jesus Christ, who is the heir of all. The Lord Jesus Christ triumphed with power over the powers
and before ascending to the right hand of the Father, he delegated this same authority to his Church (Mt. 28:18-20).
It is then the task of the children of God to make good use of it, to fulfill the divine purpose and benefit from this
undeserved gift.

The word authority is derived from the Greek root exousía , which means power of decision, freedom to continually do a
favor, the power to give permission to do something, influence and power to regulate and govern (Strong G1849), that is,
that the Authority is the power that someone has to govern, regulate, direct or order, and the power to delegate it
(authority) to another person. People who exercise authority should not abuse it to commit unjust acts. In the Bible we find
bad and good examples of people to whom God delegated authority to carry out specific jobs and the results they had.

3. SOME BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES TO MAKE GOOD USE OF THE AUTHORITY THAT CHRIST DELEGATED TO US:
V We cannot have any spiritual authority unless it is delegated to us (Jn. 19:11).
V God's authority over spiritual powers is exercised by those who have faith to believe (Mt. 28:18-19).
V You cannot use this authority when you are afraid because you have disobeyed God (Gen. 3:10;
Ro. 13:3-4).
V Those who recognize authority can exercise authority over others (Mt. 8:9).
V Our Lord Jesus Christ freed us from sin, law and death (Rom. 8:1,2), and removed the decrees that were
contrary, stripping the powers and displaying them publicly (Col. 2:14).

4. BENEFITS OF RECOGNIZING AUTHORITY.

V We will not receive condemnation (Rom. 13:1-2): The Bible says that all authorities have been set and
constituted by God, and that whoever resists them, opposes God and will receive condemnation, therefore,
whoever recognizes and obeys them, will receive life.
V There is building (2 Cor. 13:10): Recognizing authority through obedience brings edification to our lives, since the
Bible says that authority is not for destruction, but for correction.
V There is peace (1 Tim. 2:1-2): Paul exhorts us to pray and pray for all those in authority, which will allow us to live
a calm and peaceful life.
V We please God (1 Pet. 2:13-15): When we submit to our authorities, out of obedience to God, we are doing his

c
will, since we will be giving testimony that He is in control of us.

As Christians, God has delegated authority to us, which we must exercise in accordance with his Word and not abuse
it for petty purposes and our own interests; Authority is a two-way street, since at some point we will exercise
authority, but we must also recognize it in those ministers that God has placed in charge of his people, because in this
way we will please the Lord and build each other up.

l The Bible teaches that God is the Father of spirits (Heb. 12:9). Before creating the earth, God had created spirits. He would
make these angels or human beings (Heb. 1:7, Gen. 2:1), to whom he was going to give bodies to carry out specific jobs.
When God creates something, he does it for a definite purpose and does not make evil things or beings (Ez. 28:15).
Everything He does is good and perfect, but He places in His creatures free will, which is the ability to choose whether we
obey or disobey Him (Gen. 4:7). God tests his creatures, just as he did with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden and with his
angels in heaven (Rev. 12:8-9).

In Ro. 8:29 we see that before predestinating, God knew. This means that after having known, He predetermined, according
to what each one chose, who would be vessels of honor and who would be vessels of dishonor (Rom. 9:21). Likewise he
foreordained (Eph. 2:10) functions, jobs and works that the beings he had created had to perform according to what each
one chose. This was not going to be something imposed but rather these beings had to accept or refuse to carry out said
works. We can see an example of this when the Father, to carry out the plan of salvation, asked: “Whom will I send and who
will go for us?”; and the Word answered: “Here am I, send me…” (Is. 6:8). David expresses in Psalm 139:16 that all things
written in the book of God, Jesus would fulfill completely, just as they were foreordained.

According to the choice that these beings made in pre-existence, some chose to accept Christ as their savior, others chose to
reject him and others did not choose above, but came to choose earth. Of these three groups, God predestined the first to be
adopted as children of God (Eph. 1:3-6), those who rejected him he predestined to perdition (Jn. 13:18, Rom. 9:13-24) and
gives the electives the opportunity to be saved while they are in the body.

d ios has prepared plans for each of us; That is to say, He has predestined us to perform specific functions in the Body of
Christ while we live on earth; Likewise, he has preordained works for us to do (Phil. 3:12), so we must seek the Lord to
tell us what our function is in His Body (predestination) and how we are going to achieve what He has proposed that
we do in life (preordination).

V PREDESTINATION, (Rom. 8:29): Predestinate is translated from the Greek word proorizo which means to determine
before, to order (Strong G4309); This in turn is derived from the words pro which means before, mentioned above,
back, always ; and horizon which means to declare, determine, limit and order .

God has predestined some things to be fulfilled on earth, among them we will mention the following:
€ Predestined to be the Savior of the World, Jesus Christ (Heb. 10:7, Luke. 22:37): The ultimate example of the
fulfillment of God's will is the Lord Jesus Christ, who came to earth to fulfill the plan that God had prepared for Him
(Mt. 3:15) and that it was written throughout the law and the prophets (John. 15:25; 19:28); offering his life as a
burnt offering to atone for our sins.

€ Predestination for ministry , (Jer. 1:4-10): We read in these passages how God called Jeremiah to be a prophet,
before leaving the womb; This is an example of the call that God makes to his ministers in the pre-existence;
Another example is the apostle Paul who was separated from his mother's womb to receive the revelation of Christ
to preach to the Gentiles (Gal.1:15, Rom. 1:1, 1 Cor. 1:1). Thus God predestines to carry out the work of ministry on
earth (Eph. 4:11-13).

€ For vessels of dishonor (Rom. 9:17-24): Pharaoh was raised as a vessel of dishonor that God endured with great
patience to show in him the greatness of his power.

< To be saved, (Rom. 8:29-30): This group represents the people who were known by God in the pre-existence, who
heard his teaching and learned from the Father (Jn. 6:45), and then in life on earth, we hear and recognize the voice
of our shepherd Jesus Christ and follow him (John. 10:27-29) to be adopted as children of God (Eph. 1:3-6, Rom.
8:15,23). Likewise, we have been predestined to attain the image of Jesus Christ, which will be revealed when we
see Him as He is (1 Jn. 3:2).

€ To perdition (Jn. 13:18, Acts 1:20,25): Judas represents the group of people who, as a consequence of rejecting God's
message in pre-existence, are predestined to be lost (Rom. 9:17-18), meaning that on earth they will not recognize

Ebenezer Ministries School of Doctrine

4
4
Jesus Christ as their Savior (Jn. 17:12, 2 P. 2:3). Even before he was born, David prophesied that Judas would be the
son of perdition (Ps. 109:6-19).

V PREORDINATION: Preordinate is translated from the Greek proginosko which means to know beforehand, to preordinate,
to know before (Strong G4267); This in turn is composed of pro which means before, mentioned previously, behind,
always; and ginosko which means to know, perceive, understand.
The Sopena encyclopedic dictionary defines the word preordinate as God determining things from eternity.
Preordination refers to the means by which each person will fulfill the plan that God determined, that is, his
predestination; Unlike predestination, preordination can be altered, let's look at some examples:
€ To be a Nazarite , (Jud. 13:5, Num. 6:4-12): God predestined Samson from his mother's womb as the liberator of Israel
and for this he preordained him as a Nazarite; That is to say, through the Nazirite he had to fulfill his call to be a
liberator. The Nazarite had requirements such as: not eating anything from the vine, not putting a razor on his head,
but above all he had to be holy. Because of living in sin, Samson did not fully fulfill his preordination because the
Philistines put a knife on his head and he died in a way that was not determined for him and before his time,
although he did fulfill his predestination.
€ For the priesthood (1S. 2:27-34): Eli was a descendant of the tribe of Levi, whom God had predestined to serve him
(Deut. 10:8-9, 21:5; Heh. 7:9), but it was preordained that the service would be performed from thirty to fifty years
(Num. 4:3-23). Eli had two priest sons, Hophni and Phinehas (1 Sam. 1:3), but they were wicked (1 Sam. 2:12 22) (the
LBA has a call that says that these were sons of Belial), who had no knowledge of God, their father Eli did not correct
their sins against Jehovah, so they changed their preordination and that of their descendants, for Hophni and
Phinehas were cut off and their descendants would die in manhood (1 Sam. 2:33).
€ To be governor of Egypt, (Gen. 37:18-28): Joseph was predestined to preserve the lives of his people. His life was going
to be a figure of Christ, but for this, events were preordained that would tell us about what would happen to Christ.
Among them was that he was sold by his brothers, that he was sent to Egypt, that he married a Gentile, etc., but the
main one was that he became second in the kingdom of Egypt in order to fulfill his predestination. Unlike the two
previous examples, Joseph did fully comply with his preordination and for this reason God rewarded him because his
two sons were numbered with the tribes of Israel.

TO Like each example indicated, God has purposes for each of us, so we must discover that purpose to achieve
what the Lord sent us to earth for (Phil. 3:12, Rom. 12:2); Likewise, we must try to be from the group that
bears fruit 100%.

20 THE CHANGE OF THE LAW

Module II “Because the priesthood has changed, there must also be a change in the law.”
Basic Hebrews 7:12
Doctrine

d God has always wanted his children to conduct themselves in order, for this he has established laws for his creations,
in different times with the purpose that they do not deviate and can conduct themselves pleasantly before Him, this
happened until our Lord Jesus Christ appeared (Gá . 3:19). From Genesis to Revelation we see these laws expressed at
different times and for different groups of people. We read in the Epistle to the Hebrews that when the Lord Jesus Christ was
resurrected, he was constituted as a high priest according to the order of Melchizedek, changing the Levitical priesthood to
that of Melchizedek, with which a change of law also occurred, specifically the Mosaic law, because we read “When the
priesthood is changed, a change of the law necessarily occurs.”

OR A law is a precept or rule that comes from the supreme authority; These laws vary over time. We read in the
Bible that the Father wrote on tables of stone (Ex. 31:18), the Son on earth (Jn. 8:6), the Holy Spirit is writing
on our hearts (2 Cor. 3:3) and the Most High wrote in the heavens (Ps. 19:1-4); We also see that the Father
wrote his laws throughout the OT, the Son in the gospels, the Holy Spirit in the epistles and the Most High in Revelation; This
is what part of God's people has not understood, because each era has been governed by its own laws, some remaining in
force to this day. God has dealt with humanity in different ages, first the Father, then the Son, the Holy Spirit and the Most
High.
1. LAW OF THE FATHER: We see the time of the Father throughout the entire Old Testament, at this time two types of law
were established:
• For all humanity : It is the one that God established before dealing specifically with the people of Israel, this law
was placed in the conscience of the people (Rom. 2:12,14-15).
• For the people of Israel: It is the law that was written on tables of stone (Ex. 31:18), specifically for the people of
Israel, and they were external laws, for example: Six days you shall work all your work, but the seventh day is a day
of rest for the Lord your God, you shall not kill, you shall not sow two kinds of seed in the same field, etc. (Ex. 20:9-
17). Some laws that did not pass until our days were for example: the mixture of threads in clothing, keeping the
literal Sabbath, the woman shall not wear men's clothing, the man shall not wear women's clothing (Deut. 22:5),
literal sacrifices, laws regarding lepers, dead people, etc. (Lev. 1,2).
2. LAW OF THE SON: This is a new era, where the time of the Mosaic law and the prophets ends (Lk. 16:16), because Jesus
Christ himself abolished it with his death (Eph. 2:15). The time that the Lord Jesus was on earth was the border
between the Mosaic law and the law of the Spirit, giving rise to a new law. At that time the Lord fully fulfilled the
Mosaic law (Mt. 5:17), he annulled many of these laws, others he allowed to pass until our days, others he increased
and he also instituted others. We see in the Gospel of Matthew how the Lord modifies several laws, for example:
• Matthew 5:21-22: You have heard that it was said to the ancients “You shall not kill”; and “Anyone who kills will be liable
to judgment.” “But I say to you,” that whoever is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; and whoever says,
“You fool,” to his brother, will be guilty before the council; and anyone who says to him: “You fool” will be exposed to
hell of fire. At that time the Lord was modifying part of the Mosaic law to apply it in the new era.
• Matthew. 5:27-28; 33-34; 38:39; 43-44, where it is clearly seen that when Jesus said “but I tell you” , he established new
laws.
• The Holy Supper: It is a commandment that was instituted in the New Testament (Mt. 26:26-28; 1 Co. 11:20-34),
nullifying the law that said that the Passover lamb should be eaten (Ex. 12:1-10), because the Lord said that they should
eat his flesh and drink his blood, but when he told them this many turned away from him because they did not
understand.
In the book of Acts we see that some time after the change of law the brothers had not understood it and wanted the
newly converted to be circumcised, this law was annulled because now we are saved by grace (Acts. 15:1-11). Other laws
established in the time of the Father that are still in force, we read in (Lev. 18:1-30), where Ebenezer MinistriesSchool of

of the same sex (men with men, women with women), among others.
3. LAW OF THE HOLY SPIRIT: Regarding the time of the Holy Spirit, which we are living in, the Lord Jesus Christ, before
ascending, began to give instructions through the Holy Spirit (Acts. 1:1-2); teaching us that now, those who are led by
the Holy Spirit are not under the Mosaic law (Gal. 5:18), because now the laws are written on our hearts (Heb. 8:10),
first he puts them in our mind, the logos, that is, knowing the letter and then he writes them in our heart, the Rhema,
because it has become life in us, now because of the change of law we must practice the laws of the Spirit which are:
• THE LAW OF FAITH, Rom. 3:27: This law closes arrogance or haughtiness of spirit, humans by nature are haughty,
for example in (James 4:13-16) it is mentioned that there are people who have projects or goals for a certain time
and do not say “Yes.” the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that” but they only do it, or many times we boast
about what we have as if we had it through our own merits or human efforts, 1 Cor. 4:7 says, we have what we
have received, because it came from Him.
• LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE, Rom. 8:2 This law is to annul the laws that are still in our members, the apostle Paul
said: “Who will rescue me from this body of death?…” (Rom. 7:24), that is, the laws in our members can kill us a
second time and even more deprive us of abundant life in Christ, but the law of the Spirit of life frees us from the
law, from sin and from death.
• LAW OF JUSTICE, Rom. 9:31: This law produces peace, because the effect of righteousness is peace with God, it is
the righteousness we obtain through Jesus Christ (2 Pet. 1:1), because all human righteousness is like filthy rags
before God (Is.64:6), this law also helps us to be righteous by the Spirit with our brothers and neighbors.
• LAW OF FREEDOM, Stg. 1:25: The apostle Paul said: “Everything is lawful for me, but not everything is convenient
for me, everything is lawful for me but not everything builds me up, everything is lawful for me but I will not allow
myself to be enslaved by anything” (1 Cor. 6:12; 10:23), with this we understand that the Lord does not prohibit
anything, this law is very complex humanly speaking because we can go to extremes, debauchery or legalism, but if
we allow ourselves to be guided by the Holy Spirit we will not condemn ourselves with what let us choose (Rom.
14:22).
Another law that we find is the Law of Necessity , which is written in Pr. 6:30-31, is the one that is above the
ceremonial law, we see the example when the Lord told the Pharisees that David ate the shewbread not having the
legal right, but there was a need to cover (1 Sam. 21:2-6; Mt. 12:3-4).

4. LAW OF THE MOST HIGH: The Most High wrote in heaven, Psalm 19:1-4 says: "The heavens declare the glory of God and
the firmament announces the work of his hands", this we do take for this time leads to something that It is an
abomination to Jehovah, as is astrology, to consult the horoscope (2 Chr. 33:1-10); Another law that the Most High God
left until our days is Love, this one crossed all times because God is love, in Luke 6:35 it says that if we love our enemies
we will be children of the Most High.

M Many people have become discouraged for not bearing fruit for the Lord, but what happens is that they are still
living under legalisms, they are still living in the Mosaic law and they have not realized that that law was changed
(Gal 5:4), therefore Therefore it is necessary that we live in the new law, that of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus,
so that we can have a pleasing life before God.
