DDNS and Mobile configuration

Steps:

 Connect the DVR / NVR to router through a lan cable.


 On your PC >> Start Run cmd ipconfig

** According to the default gateway IP assign your device an IP in the same range. **

For eg., If the default gateway is : 192.168.0.1


then device IP will be: 192.168.0.64
OR
If default gateway is: 192.168.1.1
then device IP will be: 192.168.1.64
Settings in the Device

 MenuConfigurationNetworkGeneral
 Disable DHCP
 Assign local ip to the device in IPv4 segment
 Give Preferred DNS server address

 Check for ping reply from the DVR’s/NVR’s local IP in cmd (Command Prompt).
 In case of no reply please check your device’s connection with the router.
 Or consider changing the lan cable and re- check.
 MenuConfigurationNetworkExtranet Access
 Disable ezviz cloud
 Enable DDNS
 DDNS type-HiDDNS / Hkddns / EasyDDNS
 Server address : asdev.hik-online.com
 Device domain name (of your choice)

 MenuConfigurationNetworkNAT
 Disable UPNP
MenuConfigurationNetworkmore settings
 Change RTSP port to 1024(Vodafone Users)
** In case, you have more than one DVR/NVR to be configured online, please change the next
device’s HTTP port to 81, 82… Server port to 8001, 8002… and RTSP port to 1026,
1028…..respectively **

Open router page on your web browser


Advance SetupNAT
 Disable Firewall, SPI, UPNP, port scan (if option is available)
 Enable DMZ Host
 Put device’s local IP in DMZ host
Note:
 If you have a single device then port forwarding can be done using DMZ host.
 If you have more than one device, please follow the port forwarding procedure mentioned
in Virtual server and disable DMZ host.
 Open ping.eu website on your browser
 Ping.euport check
 Check whether ports 80, 8000 and 1024 are open.

 If ports are closed, go to router page


 Advance SetupNATVirtual Server

Port forwarding using your device’s local IP as shown in figure below-

Check whether the ports are open or not


 If ports are not open, contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider).
 If ports are open, proceed further.

Open the URL asdev.hik-online.com website

 Register a new account and login into the DDNS page using the same username and
password.
 A link will be sent to your registered mail id, Click on the link as shown in the snapshot
so as to confirm your e-mail id.
 In ’Device management’ , click on ‘Add’ option.
 Register device using the domain name used in the DDNS settings done in the device
previously, serial no. and http port in device
 In ’Device management’ , click on ‘Add’ option

 Using this url link you can view your DVR/NVR from other network i.e. remote
desktop.
To view device online through Mobile you need to download iVMS 4500 from play store.

MenuDevices
 Click on PLUS sign (+) to add your device.
Feed the information as shown below-

 Device Domain – Domain name registered in DDNS management system


 Username and password of DVR/NVR.
 Click on save.
 After the device is saved, click on ‘START LIVE VIEW’
 There is a provision of adjusting the live stream according to the network bandwidth by
selecting the options shown in above image.
