WHAT IS EFT?
Do you have a trauma or a memory you would rather forget? EFT can’t remove
the memory but it can remove the emotion attached to it so that the memory no
longer bothers you. It is also ideal for cravings, phobias, fears, pain, anxiety,
performance issues, low self esteem, depression, grief, addictions, obsessive
behaviours, relationship problems etc, etc.
EFT involves locating and tapping on meridian points on the surface of the
body while thinking of a negative emotion to alter the body's energy flow.
Often within minutes, the result is the body’s energy system is back in balance
and irrational thought processes are replaced with logical understanding of the
problem. The simplicity of EFT and the fact that it can be self applied makes it
appealing to everyone, including children.
It is well known by the medical profession that emotional wellbeing can have a
major impact on physical health. Scientists and doctors have recognised this
‘mind-body connection’ for many years and as public awareness grows,
demand for complementary therapies has also risen. EFT is especially in
demand as it rapidly gains serious credibility as a powerful therapeutic tool.
At long last there is a drug free solution to alleviating not only emotional
problems but physical and psychological ones too.
Studies have shown that chronic pain might not only be caused by physical
injury but also by stress and emotional issues. In particular, people who have
experienced trauma and suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
are often at a higher risk to develop chronic pain.
