Think of an important event in history, sports, or entertainment and tell Student B what you know about it. Remember to discuss:
• what happened
• when it happened
• who were the protagonists and what they did
• what would/could/might have happened differently
Now Student B will tell you about another important event. Ask him/her questions and have a similar conversation.
TASK 2
You and Student B live in the same house. Go over this list of things that need doing and discuss how you’re going to get the job
done. Talk about:
• things you can do yourselves
• things you need to get done
• people you know who can help you with the repairs
• how much money you think you’ll spend
