CHRYSO® Fuge E
Intergral Hydrophobic pore-blocking waterproofing admixture adding to concrete during
batching. Chryso® Fuge E chemicaly react with free lime in the cement and create pore
blocking solids, which obstruct the pore capilary action within the concrete.
CHRYSO® Bond GP
CHRYSO® Bond GP is a modified acrylic polymer emulsion which used as bonding agent and
repairing compound. This is also an additive for adding to cement mortars where good adhesion and
water resistance are required.
Aqua-Guard PVC Waterstop are manufactured from highest grade Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC)
compound by employing state-of-the art machinery designed to extrude PVC Waterstops.
METHOD STATEMENT
Waterproofing concrete to be done with Chryso® Fuge E. Chryso Fuge E completely miscible
in water therefore adding with mixing water to maximise its effect. Correct dosage need
introduce thru recommended dispenser. Chryso technical staff will monitor at the Batching
plant during concrete production and pouring at site. Dosage 1.0 percent by weight of
cement is commonly use. High range water reducing admixtures needs to be used to accieve
the maximum performance of waterproofing admixture by reducing water to cement ratio.
Green-Cutted horisontal construction joints (Basement) needs to be primed with CHRYSO®
Bond GP. The substrate must be clean, sound, and free of any oil, grease, loose particles, cement
laitance and other contaminants. Should compressed air be employed, ensure that the air is clean
and oil free. A sound exposed aggregate surface is recommended. The substrate must be well
dampened, with no free water on the surface prior to applying CHRYSO®Bond GP. The prepared
surface is to be thoroughly saturated using clean water prior to applying CHRYSO®Bond GP. The
surface saturation is generally carried out 1 to 2 hours before application but may require more
depending on the substrate porosity, temperature, and wind conditions. All excess free water must
be removed. A saturated surface ensures ease of product spread and application, and reduces
suction caused by porous substrates resulting in good bonding properties. CHRYSO®Bond GP is
applied to the surface, at the recommended application rate, using a stiff-bristle brush ensuring that
the total area of repair is thoroughly coated. Care should be taken not to apply excessive amounts
i.e., pooling and ponding must be avoided as this could result in the repair mortar ‘hogging’ or
slipping on the surface, resulting in cracking and or poor adhesion.
