Office Look is a Trouble? Not anymore!

Jewellery has the ability to gracefully reflect your personality. Work-wear and classic
jewellery, on the other hand, can be difficult to keep track of. It is important to appear
professional and well-dressed. The jewellery you wear to work is just as essential as your
office outfit or business meeting attire. Work jewellery, like your clothes, should not be too
bold or too casual. Too much jewellery, or even any jewellery at all, may be considered
inadequate or outright prohibited in some workplaces.

As a result, most women prefer not to experiment with office wear jewellery and instead stick
to a statement wristwatch or a solitaire diamond ring as a typical preference. However, you
do not have to forego fashion and style in order to maintain office etiquette. Here are some
pointers for complementing your jewellery with your attire.

Observe your work culture.

Before you wear jewellery to work, make sure you understand the rules. Even if no official
rules exist, you should be able to observe the aura and ideology of your workplace. You
should recognize that being too flashy in a conservative environment might make you stand
out in an unpleasant way. If your workplace is smart-casual, you can surely be a little more
adventurous with your jewellery.

Try the Minimalist approach:

Unless your workplace, such as a fashion magazine, allows you to go overboard with
jewellery, try to maintain a minimalist outlook. If you're unsure whether you've gone
overboard, remove one piece of jewellery before leaving for work. For some offices, one
piece of jewellery may be sufficient, and any more will be excessive.

Your clothing should never compete for attention with your jewellery. Wear a statement
necklace with a simple neckline and colours that allow it to shine.

The Colour theory:

Use the pastel colour theory. If not, and you want to go bold and minimalist, stick to your
outfit palette, which should consist of no more than 2-3 colours. When wearing a black
skirt/pant with a pink blouse/shirt, choose a colour that complements both the top and the
pants or skirt. A subtle piece of jewellery, such as a pearl or a diamond, or a simple
statement gold chain, ties the entire outfit together.

Your jewellery box should have:

Pendant: A classic gold/silver chain with a pendant. You could also use semi-precious
stones. Dangling chains and crystal-encrusted necklaces are not appropriate for the
workplace. Keep it simple but elegant.

Earrings: Earrings are short and elegant. If you want a drop or dangling pair, choose
something meek and delicate.

Rings: Diamond rings such as engagement rings or simple rings are definitely appropriate
for the workplace. The diamond ring price, despite being on the higher side, can always
accessorize your fingers with stackable bands or semi-precious stones. Maintain one ring on
each hand or skilfully stack them.

Bracelets: Please, no bangles! They are loud for they are too many for a workplace.
Choose from plain or stone bracelets. Cuffs or single and delicate kadas are also acceptable
as long as they do not make any noise. Nevertheless, keep it classy.

Watches: Professional watches are both alluring and quite professional. It only enhances
the proficient polish of an outfit and is definitely versatile, making it easy to transition from
work to casual wear. Metal and leather bands both work in a professional setting, and
choosing one over the other is largely a matter of personal preference.

Women, in particular, can use jewellery to enhance their outfits and present a polished
image at work.
