functions of the provincial,
city & municipal peace &
order councils shall be
governed by the provisions
of EO 309, s. 1988, as
amended.

Formulate plans & recommend measures to


improve/enhance peace & order & public
safety.

Monitor implementation of peace & order


programs & projects & operation of Civilian
Volunteer Self-Defense Organizations & other
counter-insurgency programs/activities.

Make periodic assessments or peace & order


situation & submit recommendations to NPOC.
