ELON MUSK: THE VISIONARY CHANGING THE WORLD

Elon Musk has come to be associated with innovation

and pushing the boundaries of what is possible. Musk,
who was born on June 28, 1971, in Pretoria, South
Africa, is well-known for being a creative businessperson,
engineer, and inventor. His projects span everything from
electric cars to space travel to alternative energy and
beyond, and he has had a big impact on many industries.
The beginning of Musk's path to becoming one of the
most influential people in the world was his early
passion for technology. He relocated to the US and
enrolled at Stanford University, but later left to pursue
his business goals.
His first notable accomplishment was co-founding Zip2, a
city guide software for newspapers, in 1996. Musk's first
significant financial success came in 1999 when Compaq
purchased Zip2 for close to $300 million.

Beyond the internet sector, Elon Musk has expanded and had a broader vision. He co-founded Tesla,
Inc., a business specializing in the creation of electric vehicles, in 2004. Musk's unwavering faith in
electric vehicles as the way the future of transportation was met with skepticism at first, but it
eventually propelled the electric vehicle revolution. The Model S, Model 3, Model X, and Model Y are
just a few of Tesla's electric vehicles that have redefined the automotive industry and elevated electric
vehicles to desirable status symbols. In 2008, he took over as CEO and was appointed chairman of the
company. Musk participated in the creation of SolarCity in 2006; Tesla acquired SolarCity in 2016 to
form Tesla Energy. He invested in Tesla Motors and SpaceX, and he had a strong background in design,
serving as the engineering director for both companies' products. He may not have an engineering
degree, but he oversaw the creation of the Model S sedan and the Tesla Roadster, both of which are
entirely electric.
Elon Musk has a massive impact on the world. He has revolutionized and influenced many industries,
from electric cars to space exploration, and his unwavering commitment to a sustainable future is
inspiring. Because of his audacity and forward-thinking vision, which continue to influence the future,
Musk is a true pioneer in the twenty-first century.
Looking ahead, it is impossible to predict what Elon Musk's next big project will be. The possibilities
are endless given his history of groundbreaking innovation, and the world eagerly anticipates the next
phase of his remarkable journey. It will never be impossible to develop new technologies and
innovations that can be useful and take us to a more developed world if Elon Musk saw potential in
the possibilities and limitless creation in this world.
KATHERINE JOHNSON: THE HIDDEN FIGURE
WHO HELPED NASA REACH FOR THE STARS

A pioneering mathematician, Katherine Johnson made

extraordinary contributions to NASA's early space
exploration that went largely unrecognized for decades.
She was a key player in the space race after overcoming
significant obstacles and societal barriers. She was born
on August 26, 1918, in White Sulphur Springs, West
Virginia.
Katherine Johnson showed an early interest in
mathematics and problem-solving. Although she was a
stellar student, there were few opportunities for African
American women in STEM fields in the early 20th
century. Johnson persevered despite this and eventually
earned a summa cum laude degree from West Virginia
State University.

When Katherine Johnson joined the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA), which
served as the foundation for NASA, her aptitude in mathematics was immediately apparent. Early
space missions, such as those of astronaut Alan Shepard and John Glenn, the first American to orbit
the Earth, relied on her calculations to plot their course.
She developed a reputation for mastering difficult manual calculations during her 33-year career at
NASA and its forerunner and contributed to the development of using computers to carry out tasks.
Her "historical role as one of the first African American women to work as a NASA scientist" was noted
by the space agency.
Johnson gained the respect of the space program thanks to her proficiency with intricate manual
calculations. She performed crucial calculations for orbital mechanics, launch windows, and reentry
trajectories while working on the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo missions. Her efforts were essential to
the security and accomplishment of these missions.
President Barack Obama presented Johnson with the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2015 for her
outstanding contributions to American space exploration. Her example continues to serve as
motivation and a stepping stone for women and underrepresented minorities in STEM fields.
Katherine Johnson's accomplishments at NASA are a testament to her extraordinary talent, tenacity,
and ability to shatter racial and gender stereotypes of the time. Her story serves as a reminder of the
importance of respecting and recognizing the contributions of individuals who, like her, were "hidden
figures" behind some of humanity's greatest scientific and exploratory achievements. The
contribution Katherine Johnson made to NASA and her inspirational journey will be remembered and
honored by future generations.
